Why Pidgeotto Manip Wants Mega Punch

Context
	Normal runs began using Bottom Bug Catcher experience on route 3 instead of the Double Lass strategy in anticipation of a lack of geodude experience from manipping mt moon.  It turned out to actually be a faster play in general for the route because of the ability to pull it off without running out of horn attacks with a 15 Attack nido and because we figured out that the forest metapod fight is actually faster using Leer compared to spamming HA.  Double Lass is only 7 seconds faster through Route 3 because Bottom Bug Catcher gets Nidorino before the last trainer and saves a turn in comparison.  Double Lass then loses that time back on bridge, and more, because it has to use 2 rare candies from 20->22, delaying Thrash.  Double Lass also loses 19 for Sandshrew.
Enter Pidgeotto Manip
	Pidgeotto manip's experience route prevents getting Nidorino before the last fight of Route 3.  This means that Double Lass is 13 seconds faster through route 3 compared to the bottom bug catcher.  But the 2x candy+carbos silph strat doesn't work with the 20->22 experience route.  Pidgeotto Manip needs to candy twice after Onix instead in order to hit 34 after the lone Silph Arbok.  Mega Punch is considerably useful on Nugget Bridge with delayed candies because it guarantees several ranges.  Mega Punch with delayed candying comes to about 10 seconds of timeloss compared to current strats.
	But Mega Punch Opens Up Triple Center Skip
Killing pikachu means that you can double or triple center skip (-15 and -19 seconds respectively).  Triple center skip is possible because you use only 13 mega punches between acquisition (a good buffer for misses) and Onix and Pikachu is dead for Bill's house.  So you skip centering before moon and skip centering immediately after moon all the way up to before the Misty gym, providing massive redbar timesaves (Maximum 32.2 seconds between death cries and level up jingles).
