  1. *Wul would pace outside the city limits with his first mate of the Ramshead Pirates, the eldritch, three bladed sheep cyborg clicking his teeth thoughtfully as he passed along. There had been a time, truly, where the cybernetic grass eater had few to no contenders in the depths of power.
  2.
  3. Yet, time and proof had humbled the sheep that claimed once boldly he would become the king of the pirates. Before he'd taken his duties to Dharma seriously and joined the Cups. That spirit of freedom and industry remained, and yet...
  4.
  5. In each battle where it counted, he'd felled and failed.
  6.
  7. Try as he might, Wul was surpassed time and time again. Perhaps his skills had rusted and waned with arrogance, only battle would tell him truly. The three sworded, skeletal sheep would raise his blades to Lettuch as he crackled with red, cybernetic electricity, preparing to see just how far his first mate had gotten in his trials of combat.
  8.
  9. While Wul had stagnated.
  10.
  11. "Let us see just how strong you've become, Lettuch. Do not hold back."*
  12.
  13. *Lettuch would smirk to the sheep some.
  14.
  15. Taking up the former blade that used to be an axe.. and formerly belonged to Shino, apart of their crew. The Saiyan would have his eyes flash as a blackened sheen would then coat the scarlet blade with an aura that incorporated a bit of pearlescent blue hues within it and covered his arms up to his pecks forming a tattoo-like swirled pattern.
  16.
  17. "This is called Armament. Sage taught me how to forge my will into an impenetrable, and a unassailable weapon. The stronger the will, the tougher the coating.. and along with it?
  18.
  19. Observation." He'd make a few movements leaving a slow trail of afterimages. Nodding to Wul's assertion that he did not wish for the man to hold himself back.
  20.
  21. Triumph was but a matter of technique to him these days, but it was one he was expected to explain more often than not.
  22.
  23. "I can see the future, Wul. And I'm more than 10 paces ahead. I can act up to 15.... But we'll see how far you go to catch up."*
  24.
  25. *Lettuch would fight to his utmost against Wul. The swordsmen's clash would be a hail of attacks colliding and quaking the very ground beneath them. Lettuch could see through the cuta headed his way, but he couldn't always navigate ALL of them, taking shallower cuts and trading harder and harder still.
  26.
  27. He didn't take his former captain for any weakling, though as their fight met it's climax there wouldn't be anything but the urgency to finish it before it dragged along too harshly. Minute hardening of his form as soon as certain strikes would save his life, though his reflexes definitelty aided the ensemble of his skillset.
  28.
  29. Seeing a single, fatal attack impending in on him though... perhaps the same that killed Artachh all those years ago, Lettuch's gaze would flash as he saw that he -would- be getting hit no matter what he did.
  30.
  31. Biting the bullet, and showcasing the sheer intensity that his resolve had grown since their last battle.. and after he'd lost everyting, he'd take pre-emptiv steps to grab the blade and stab into himself as he saw the one move that would end this battle in one fowl swoop.
  32.
  33. Hand coated in his Armament, he'd keep the blade lodged into his chest and unable to move as his other fist gleamed in the blueish ebony coating and gave a final decisive uppercut to the advancing ram and knock him sky high and off into the far side of the field.
  34.
  35. Panting some, with some ichor leaking from his mouth, the Saiyan would let out a pained and joyous chuckle as he finally removed the blade, and the hardened the stabbed area with a sealing of Haki to ensure he lived.. despite being threatened with bleeding to death.
  36.
  37. "Now... THAT, was a match.."*
  38.
  39. *Wul And so the two swordsmen danced, a clash and cacaphony of legendary steel like no other as the three sworded sheep fought toe to toe against Lettuch. His first mate had never been weak, no, since discovering that golden form, they'd oft been a close match for strength. Yet, Lettuch had achieved something far beyond that golden sheen. No, he had hardened his very spirit and resolve itself into arnament, his very skin blackening and hardening like steel as his blades clattered with hardened, resounding clanks against Lettuch's own. The armament that shrouded Lettuch's blade made its edge as hard as diamond, easily parrying Wul's onslaught as he was pushed back for the first time in a long while.
  40.
  41. Yet, when Wul went on the offensive, Lettuch made good on his implication that he could see the future. His furious strikes did not slow down against his first mate, but even with the chaotic rhythm of the wilderness in his three bladed swordsplay, the saiyan appeared to duck and weave through the slashes as if water. The power of the late Sage had become ever more clear, especially since they'd made their compact before the dragon in their determined vengeance against Isabelle.
  42.
  43. Before noble Sage had fallen....
  44.
  45. As the battle reached its crescendo with the sheep swordsman's reserves exhausted, he took a deep, hollow breathe as he slowly span his three swords in a rhythmatic swirl, lunging forth with determination as he delivered the sort of slash only someone with immense familiarity with killing intent might manifest.
  46.
  47. Only this, resounding wound carved the the armament, and even still it was not enough as Wul was felled before Lettuch's superior strength. Falling to his knees, the captain of the Ramshead Pirates would bow his head desperately to his first mate with a steady click of his teeth.
  48.
  49. For once, swallowing his pride to do what had to be done.
  50.
  51. "Your armament....whatever this is, Lettuch. I know Sage spoke of it before he died, and I don't know if even it would be enough to get my revenge on Isabelle for murdering me. But I am too weak as it stands now to ever achieve my dreams....I cannot allow my spirit to fade from sloth. You are my first mate, and yet I ask you captain to companion that you teach me what you've learned. I will do anything I must."*
  52.
  53.
  54.
  55. Lettuch looked fairly content with the showing. No one, even the Golden Saint of Pisces had been able to pierce the Armament that was already in place... but from this shattering he'd have to simply grow as well. His work never truly done, but he'd certainly reached a feasible place to assess how far he came and with that perhaps pass on a bit what he'd learned.
  56.
  57. "--Ghn *coughs* ..Of course, Wul.
  58.
  59. Though all I can really do is explain how it works, and expose you to it first hand as I did here. But, in the meantime.. we should both get patched up.. I think you nicked my heart."*
  60.
  61. *Wul Wul would nod steadily as he thoughtfully clicked his teeth together, nodding with resolve as he absorbed the information offered while accepting that, yes, it was likely wise they got Lettuch to a hospital before he bled out. There was a process to it at least, it seemed. He would learn the depths of this armament, the future that could be seen.
  62.
  63. He would not fail his sister's dream.
  64.
  65. "Yes, to the hospital then."*
