- -=COMPONENTS=-
- 1x Signal Builder Component (SIGB-1)
- ?x Signal Checker Component (SIGC-1 ... SIGC-?)
- 1x Selection Component (SLCT-1)
- ?x Wifi Component (WIFI-1 ... WIFI-?)
- You will also need:
- Another device, which produces output to be transmitted.
- -=COMPONENT SETUP=-
- SIGB-1
- Starting string:
- Ending string:
- SIGC-1 ... SIGC-?
- Trigger string: &trans=<n>
- <n> should be unique to each Signal Checker.
- SLCT-1
- ? items on list
- &trans=<n>
- Each <n> in a signal checker, and no other values of <n>, should be on the list.
- WIFI-1 ... WIFI-?
- Same settings as the wifi component that this device is replacing.
- -=CONNECTIONS=-
- (other device) -- Add to string --> SIGB-1
- (other device) -- Next + send --> SLCT-1
- SLCT-1 -- Add to string + send --> SIGB-1
- SIGB-1 -- Check string --> Each SIGC
- Each SIGC -- Send radio message --> One WIFI
- (Each WIFI should take input from exactly one SIGC)
- -=OPERATION=-
- This device overcomes the inbuilt limit on the wifi component's rate of transmission by replacing it with a lot of wifi components, which transmit in sequence. If you believe you will have to send a lot of signals very quickly, use this device as the transmitter.
- -=OPTIONAL ADDITIONS=-
- More transmitters! More transmitters means more rapid signal sending.
- Consider altering SIGB-1 to include a sender address (&sender=x in the ending string), so that all messages from the array appear to come from the same source. If this source is itself a wifi component, you could modify it so that the device connected to the array can receive instructions by sending it PDA messages.
