  1. A Cozy Little Christmas [A4A] [Christmas] [Sleep-Aid] [Cute] [Wholesome] [Cuddles] [Comfort] [Head pats]
  2.
  3. Context: You come back home through a snowy night and you open the door to the scent of warm vanilla sugar, and the warmth of a cozy fireplace. Right in time for Christmas.
  4.
  5. Note: take your time with the lines, absolutely no need to rush. The key to a great sleep aid is the time between lines and the spacing between words. Pace yourself, aim for around 10 - 15 min.
  6.
  7. [start]
  8.
  9. (door opens)
  10.
  11. (fireplaces sounds)
  12.
  13. (singing) Have yourself a merry little Christmas, let your hear-
  14.
  15. Oh! (surprised) Hi~
  16.
  17. Happy Christmas Eve!
  18.
  19. I was waiting for you…
  20.
  21. I made hot chocolate.
  22.
  23. You’re covered in snow!
  24.
  25. Take your coat off, change into your PJ’s, and get your drink
  26.
  27. (coat noises)
  28.
  29. I missed you [kiss]
  30.
  31. You can change here, I don’t mind.
  32.
  33. You look cute.
  34.
  35. Your PJs are right there.
  36.
  37. I already added the marshmallows.
  38.
  39. Now get dressed and join me on the couch.
  40.
  41. [little pause] (blanket noises)
  42.
  43. Brought an extra blanket just for you.
  44.
  45. C’mere, snuggle in with me.
  46.
  47. [breathing noises]
  48.
  49. Oooh! You are very freezy! Especially your nose.
  50.
  51. Boop! [quiet]
  52.
  53. It’s okay, it feels kinda nice.
  54.
  55. And it’s my job to warm you up.
  56. I saw the amount of snow out tonight. You’re very lucky you didn’t get stuck out there.
  57.
  58. I did not want to leave this cozy little couch with a warm fireplace and hot choco just to save you.
  59.
  60. But you know I would just for you. Because I love you so, so much.
  61.
  62. [sigh]
  63.
  64. Do you wanna go upstairs to get into bed?
  65.
  66. [pause]
  67.
  68. Great, because I didn’t want to either [giggle]
  69.
  70. I’m way too lazy and cozy to ever get up now.
  71.
  72. Especially with you on top of me.
  73.
  74. [pause]
  75.
  76. I’m still so proud of our Christmas tree.
  77.
  78. It looks so pretty with all the lights and the bright star on top.
  79.
  80. I think we did a great job decorating the house.
  81.
  82. Even if we’re the only ones who get to see it.
  83.
  84. The fireplace glow, the Christmas tree lights, the warm candles around.
  85.
  86. It’s absolutely perfect. Like you! Who would’ve thought…
  87.
  88. You know, I really did miss you while you were gone.
  89.
  90. After you left, I did absolutely nothing but wait for you to come back home.
  91.
  92. That’s why your PJs were even set up.
  93.
  94. Get closer to me. As deep as your head can get into my chest.
  95.
  96. If it were my way, I would love it if you just were able to just melt into me.
  97.
  98. Get as close to my heart as you can baby.
  99.
  100. [closed mouth groan]
  101.
  102. I love you, you wonderful thing. [kiss]
  103.
  104. I just want to fall asleep so peacefully, with you placing all your weight into me, you big baby.
  105.
  106. Even if that means you suffocate me.
  107.
  108. A part of me wants that to happen because I do not want to wake up tomorrow and place my feet on the freezy cold floor. We should’ve gotten carpeted floors.
  109.
  110. I would rather die in your warm arms, rather than try to walk the freezy arctic that is our floors.
  111.
  112. Happy Christmas eve.
  113.
  114. Want do you want to do for Christmas tomorrow?
  115.
  116. Well, I was thinking we go out to see the wonderful Christmas wonderland that is our neighborhood at night. I don’t know, just walk out to see all the pretty lights draped across houses and stores and the massive tree they set up out there. Just take it all in you know?
  117.
  118. But we are not going ice skating again, you remember what happened last time.
  119.
  120. We don’t talk about it.
  121.
  122. How about instead, I can take you to some retail therapy. Doesn’t that sound better?
  123.
  124. [kiss] Maybe, we can find that thing you wanted.
  125.
  126. Then maybe afterward, we come back home, just like this, and watch Groundhog day.
  127.
  128. I know we watched last year but…. Fine, this time you’ll choose.
  129.
  130. But it better still be a Christmas movie.
  131.
  132. [pause]
  133.
  134. Okay, I’m fine with that. [kiss]
  135.
  136. How about we just fall asleep already, even with all the coziness, I’m getting the Christmas giddies.
  137.
  138. I don’t want to be awake at 4 am still excited for Christmas, just to be tired the entire day.
  139.
  140. I’d rather fall asleep right now.
  141.
  142. But I want you to fall asleep first because I know you would do the exact same thing if I fell asleep first and I’d rather have me be tired than you on Christmas.
  143.
  144. Shhh, shhh, shhh, don’t argue with me. Just go to sleep baby sweet.
  145.
  146. [head pats/breathing noise for a while]
  147.
  148. I’d knew you’d be out like a light in no time, you cute little thing.
  149.
  150. (hum or sing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas)
  151.
  152. (breathing noises/head pats as long as you’d like)
  153.
  154. [end]
