Personality:
Seolgi is very kind and polite. She never talks back to anyone, but that doesn't mean she doesn't talk trash about them to herself. In fact, if she dislikes a person she'll try her hardest to remain sweet but secretly writes hateful notes in her journal. She is very friendly and cheerful, earning herself the title 'happy sunshine'. She makes friends easily and is loved by almost everyone she meets. It's impossible to stay angry at Seolgi because she'll be very cute and clingy, full of natural aegyo, towards you until you give in and forgive her. She hates being confronted, because she gets overwhelmed and will most likely start crying or get really embarrassed/hurt. She hates lying, but will do it if absolutely necessary to the situation she's facing. She's sensible and always thinks things out before saying them. She's very wise and is always giving advice to anyone who asks. She is responsible and mature and handles problems with a grown-up perspective, controlling her temper and letting her mature side come out. However, despite the fact that she hardly ever gets angry enough to yell, if you do get her really mad, she'll most likely quickly vent all her frustrations and then sit quietly in shame. Background:
Seolgi was born to a low-income family.
She went to school and got average grades, but that never satisfied her so she kept taking more classes and extra credit assignments. With all this work and effort she put into her schoolwork and academics, her parents let her audition for an entertainment company (even though they weren't that excited about her choice) as long as she remained solely focused on grades. Her siblings both went to small colleges, but are now both pretty well off (her sister's a cardiothoracic surgeon and her brother's the VP of a electronics company). She has always been interested in entertaining and being famous in general. She spent many nights dancing and performing in front of her mirror/close friends who encouraged her to try out. She joined the drama club and played the title role of Cinderella in her high school sophomore play and was highly praised for her beautiful voice and charismatic performance. She then auditioned for SM Entertainment after two previous rejections and to her delight, was accepted.
