ZFS on WD Green Drives?

Many thanks for the show and awesome to meet Chris at SCaLE this year! Hopefully we'll see you again next year & they'll get the reservation right ;)

I have a pair of Western Digital Green Drives in a storage server that I maintain here at work that are currently running EXT4. I'd like to convert them over to ZFS, but the internet seems to greatly disagree about whether to run ZFS on these drives or not. I was hoping Allan could weigh in on possible drawback about ZFS on these drives. The main reason seems to be that the drives have TLER enabled.
