The whole popular rude blonde trope is annoying
Like nowadays no one would let someone like that be popular
Or not put her "in her place" or whatever it is people say

What really irritates me is when I read a story that includes a female mc that is seen as strong and independent but yet denies with all she is that she would ever do something feminine
Like the author is basically saying feminine things are things that make you weak


I can get that but I feel like it really enforces the negative sterotypes of catty teenager girls being pety and never getting along and hating ech other. Which I know some girls are like, trust me, I've been on the other end of that. But I feel like she's really on the outs even with her family being the only non-psychic and I would've just liked to see her have a female friend who was her age and could really get her idk
