  15. BACKSTORY: Early in the history of [world's name], humans lived in harmony as
  16.
  17. a single comunity. As new technologies were developed, and human's passion
  18.
  19. grew and their skills developed, people slowly separated themselves into
  20.
  21. group according to what their passion in life was. Eventually, small fights
  22.
  23. broke between members of different groups over which activity was more
  24.
  25. important/better/cooler (according to the "legend"), which lead the groups to
  26.
  27. settle in different locations of the world. This eventually lead to the birth
  28.
  29. of the Five Great Industries of [world's name] (each of these would develop a
  30.
  31. way of self defense, training their people to excell at certain discipline
  32.
  33. {some wacky kind of magic, fighting, etc}). Each Industry attempted to
  34.
  35. survive on their own but they soon realized that they needed each other's
  36.
  37. abilities to live well, but some smaller groups within the industries were
  38.
  39. less than accepting of the new treaties and trades between their leaders. In
  40.
  41. order to avoid further conflicts, a new city was built in the center of the
  42.
  43. world which would serve as a centralized government that accomodated the
  44.
  45. needs of all 5 industries. This city was named [central city], to [reason for
  46.
  47. the name]. Each industry sent their most renowned intellectuals and scholars
  48.
  49. in order to make this new goverment succeed (which it did for a long time),
  50.
  51. and together they chose a single governor and released rulings that would
  52.
  53. affect every part of the land. One of such rulings was the ceasing of any
  54.
  55. further research on firearms as soon as they were invented and banned them
  56.
  57. because they were too powerful and "cheap" (hand-to-hand combat, meelee
  58.
  59. weapon combat and other disciplines were still allowed as means of self
  60.
  61. defense for each industry). The few firearms that were developed at that time
  62.
  63. were kept in [central city]
  64.
  65. Not too long before the beginning of the game, the governor of [central city]
  66.
  67. dies of an unknown cause, and is succeeded by [villain] from food city who
  68.
  69. was chosen by unanimous decision by a council in [central city] because of
  70.
  71. her wisdom and charity. However, this didn't last very long, as she seemed to
  72.
  73. be turning selfish and capritious. Nobody in [central city] seemed to care
  74.
  75. and continued to carry on follow her directions as if they were being
  76.
  77. controlled. As the story develops, it is revealed that her true ambitions are
  78.
  79. to "purify" the industry from what she considers to be "demonic" or
  80.
  81. "tainted".
  82.
  83. PLOT:
  84.
  85. PROLOGUE (the tutorial is also here)
  86.
  87. [music city]: The new governor is passing laws that tax mainstream music in
  88.
  89. ridiculous ways (people must pay the government in lettuce for each song they
  90.
  91. listen to, etc). The new economic problems in [music city] worsen the
  92.
  93. conflicts between Genre Gangs (a battle against 2 other genre gang members
  94.
  95. The governor has also set up massive structures with equally massive mouth-
  96.
  97. shaped speakers that play oprah music all day. [main character (fighter
  98.
  99. class), a normal rapper with promising career and talent but completely
  100.
  101. selfish and arrogant personality gets fed up with the taxation laws (because
  102.
  103. he was making much less oney) and the problems they have caused and arranges
  104.
  105. a trip to [main city] to try to talk the new governor into changing her ways
  106.
  107. or find explanations, but makes a stop on Electropia for supplies.
  108.
  109. ELECTROPIA: When [main character] arrives at Electropia to find that many of
  110.
  111. the city's top scientists and manufacturers have lost their jobs because of
  112.
  113. reduced sales on electronics. He meets with Steve the Jobless
  114.
  115. (engineer/mechanic class), which has lot his job in the most tragic way
  116.
  117. possible (come up with this, probably won't come up until later in the game),
  118.
  119. which leads to him becoming slightly crazy and paranoid (justification for
  120.
  121. his appearance) right after he completed the blueprints for his latest
  122.
  123. invention: the iRobots [iBots?] (other playable units and guards) from
  124.
  125. recycled materials found throughout the game. Together, they face a gang of
  126.
  127. electronics that attack them for apparently no reason. Soon after, the whole
  128.
  129. city is infested with uncontrollable electronics that are destroying stuff
  130.
  131. (...). Upon investigating they discover that the Luditians (sub-culture /
  132.
  133. cult of people. menonites +luddits turned evil) are corruping the city's
  134.
  135. electronics with Hypermagnets, which they obtained from an unknown source
  136.
  137. {duh}. Sometime during the events in this city, they find out that other
  138.
  139. cities in the world are going through similar problems. Also, sometime during
  140.
  141. this series of events, Steve the Jobless is granted permission and the means
  142.
  143. to create his iRobots with the help of the local goverment to help control
  144.
  145. the hordes of crazy electronics. They defeat the leader of the Ludites and
  146.
  147. move to the next town.
  148.
  149. ----------------
  150. IMPORTANT SUBSTORY: Before [villain] became governor of [central city], she
  151.
  152. had an affair with [meat leader]. [villain] was an animal lover (particularly
  153.
  154. fond of cows), and thought the way that animals were killed was too inhumane
  155.
  156. (they were thrown in a massive 30~ stories high technology blender-like
  157.
  158. machine that did all the cutting, sorting and packaging by itself and ejected
  159.
  160. the packaged product on it's lower level). Because of his love for [villain],
  161.
  162. [meat leader] dedicated all his time and resources to find the most ethical
  163.
  164. way to continue farming animals for their meat. His solution was to house all
  165.
  166. farm animals in a mansion with everything an animal or human could possibly
  167.
  168. need to have the happiest (but short) life, before they get taken to a
  169.
  170. "special place" once they reach a certain age (where obviously they are
  171.
  172. unknowingly killed in the most painless and unnoticeable way)
  173.
  174. (come up with reason for breakup, maybe related to cloning? [villain]'s
  175.
  176. character would hate clonation, and could also be related to a [medicine
  177.
  178. world] character that was an enemy of hers prior to the story of the game)
  179.
  180. They break up, [villain] ends up ----> HATING <---- [meat leader], and turns
  181.
  182. to vegetable binge eating and gains lots and lots of weight before she
  183.
  184. becomes "stable" again. The hatred towards [meat leader] will be what
  185.
  186. ultimately triggers the "transformation" during her goverment
  187. ----------------
  188.
  189.
  190. [food world]: The food world has a form of subgovernment with a parliament
  191.
  192. consisting on members of the two parties in the city ([vegetarian party],
  193.
  194. [meat party]). Upon arriving, the Heroes are greeted by the leader of the
  195.
  196. current goverment of the city, [meat leader], who has heard about the events
  197.
  198. in Electropia and congratulates both for their efforts, but also seems
  199.
  200. troubled. He also also asks both of them to track down two important figures
  201.
  202. of the parliament who have mysteriously disappeared in the last couple of
  203.
  204. days (during the events in Electropia). Upon investigating they uncover a
  205.
  206. cult with close ties to the [vegetarian party] which is responsible for the
  207.
  208. disappearings of the two figures. During these events, they join forces with
  209.
  210. [fat female character (tank/healer), an agent that is also trying to track
  211.
  212. down the 2 important people (it is revealed later that she is the daughter of
  213.
  214. one of the kidnapped persons). After defeating the leader of the cult (based
  215.
  216. on a cartoon character from a vegetable product), they learn that they have
  217.
  218. been aided by the [gang/mafia name] Gang/Mafia from [cartoon city], and that
  219.
  220. only one of the people is still in [food city] and the other [the fat chick's
  221.
  222. dad] is held captive in [cartoon city]
  223.
  224. [cartoon city]: This city's local goverment is constantly dealing with mobs
  225.
  226. and gangs that are trying to take control over the broadcasting networks to
  227.
  228. gain more power and fame (the other worlds know very little about this).
  229.
  230. During the previews events of the game, [mafia name] Mafia has gained access
  231.
  232. to a lot of the firearms that were held in [central city], and is currently
  233.
  234. winning the battle against the city's authorities. The party is joined by
  235.
  236. another character (thief class) that helps them infiltrate the Mafia's main
  237.
  238. base and defeat the leader and his 4 sidekicks (based on Rocky from Looney
  239.
  240. Tunes and the Baby Sun from the Teletubbies, with the 4 sidekicks as gang
  241.
  242. members themed after the colors of the Teletubbies and the shapes on the
  243.
  244. things on top of their heads). The party learns about the plans of the new
  245.
  246. governor through the leader of [cartoon city] and decides to travel to
  247.
  248. [medical city] hoping to find reinforcements/supplies, and to investigate a
  249. legend of [cartoon city and medical city] about an ultimate weapon.
  250.
  251.
  252. --------------MEANWHILE, IN CENTRAL CITY-------------
  253.
  254. Seeing that the party is ganing power, [villain] decides to take more drastic
  255.
  256. actions. She manages to put the entire council of the city under her mind
  257.
  258. control. A summoning ritual of sorts is started in [celtral city].
  259.
  260. ---------END OF MEANWHILE, IN CENTRAL CITY------------
  261.
  262.
  263.
  264. [medicine city]: The whole city is in chaos. All "medical" services have been
  265.
  266. stopped in the city by decree if the governor of [central city] (she believes
  267.
  268. that medical treatment is getting in the ways of god) (and by "medical
  269.
  270. ervices", I mean instant plastic surgery and other muscle enhancement and
  271.
  272. beauty benefits that EVERYONE in the city takes advantage of on a way-too-
  273.
  274. regular basis to stay as perfectly healthy and young and pretty-looking as
  275.
  276. possible without moving a muscle)
  277.
  278. TL;DR: The party joins forces with the last character [based on Paris Hilton
  279.
  280. (summoner class)]. [main character] obtains the legendary sword "The Fish
  281.
  282. Stick". They defeat the mad bodybuilder (the only person in the city that
  283.
  284. actually worked hard or his body, but has the ugliest face ever) that wants
  285.
  286. to obtain the sword for himself. They rush to central city
  287.
  288. [central city] Final dungeon of the game, they defeat some minibosses and the
  289.
  290. [villain] and the truth behind her actions is revealed and they fight the
  291.
  292. "other" [villain]
  293.
  294. ------------------END OF THE GAME-----------------
  295.
  296. [music city] (revisited): The party completely forgets about [music city] and
  297.
  298. wonders what could've happened during the time they've been gone. There's a
  299.
  300. series of optional dungeons themed after each music genre that is trying to
  301.
  302. take the spotlight in the world of mainstream music.
