Backstory: Gina is a special kind of person, coming into a generation of distracted teenagers, and complacent people is already boring enough for someone who wants to see the bigger picture, but of course, it gets better, Gina dug into all sorts of old history and lore she could find, spending whatever spare money she got from her job on old artifacts and interesting antiques, trinkets from old eras and spent most of her free time on reading up on things from the past, myths and legends, so of course, things had to get EVEN better, her interest in old history got her a lead on a secret cult of people who attempted to preserve some sort of space-light-based magic, and, of course, her interest got the better of her, and she went on her merry way to find it, saving up her money for travel and going all over the world looking for them, until finding herself in the middle of the wilderness in New Zealand, stumbling upon a small shack in the middle of the forest, as she wandered in, she finally found the truth, it was real, magic was indeed possible, the unwillingly took Gina in, being a set of reasonable and decent people, Gina got what she wanted, but there is always more to learn. This is months in the past, months after she learned her magics from them, she keeps it a secret, to keep those people safe.

In her world, in ancient days of the Romans and Egyptians magic was a real thing, though an unknown event caused it to be impossible which caused the collapse of these ancient empires, which fell away into the history books, and the sands of time. There are records of magic, far back in the past though humans today merely interpreted it as a mistranslation and a mystery that would never be solved. She comes from the town of Copenhagen, New York. Her parents were rather rich, and she lived a somewhat spoiled life up until the recent years where she realized what truly mattered to her: knowledge.

Personality: She is rather observant at first and is prone to monologing, though once you get to know her she's rather friendly though she asks alot of things and asks questions quite frequently. She's a good spirit in nature and wouldn't hesitate to lend a helping hand, when she can.

Appearance: She wears a purple and red suit of sorts, though unlike your normal suit its rather comfortable to the fit, black boots. Her eyes are brown, her skin has a very slight tan and her hair is brown, straight to the back. Sometimes she can also wear jean shorts, vans shoes and a rather loose shirt, if its warm out. She's rather attractive.

Items: Has a staff thats starting with a purple pointed gem at the end, with a black ring connecting that to the rod which is a lighter purple, going into another black and then silver ring. Then there would be a dark purple u shaped magnet sort of thing with a purple pointed gem in the middle of the u shape.

Abilities:

The staff allows her to manipulate gravity, it isn't really necessary though it does amplify her magical power.

She can go through walls by 'phasing' through them, and can avoid physical attacks by simply phasing away. She can also extend this 'phase' over physical items though that requires a great deal of effort.

She's capable of going invisible though rarely does she make serious use of that ability.

Light ability is also what she is capable of, using flashing orbs or rays of light to surprise her foes, or to simply light the way to new discoveries.

Her staff can unsummon and summon away, into her own pocket dimension, and she can use that pocket dimension to switch out her clothes without even changing or getting undressed.

She's able to fly by manipulating gravity, which can be used as an offensive or defensive tool.

 She's also capable of healing herself which takes time and effort depending on the damage.
