- The water’s surface surrounding the palace rippled.
- Thump.
- A power swelled.
- “…What is this!?”
- The presence of a Denizen of the Crimson World so enormous that even Orgon was
- shocked appeared abruptly.
- It took the form of a steam explosion, manifesting as seven rays of light spreading out
- radially.
- The seven rays of light, each a different color, danced wildly in the thick steam, then
- suddenly vanished.
- Before he knew it, someone was standing by the water.
- Walking through the thin white mist.
- It was a skeleton clad in rags.
- “A rainbow… A rainbow!? That, that’s impossible…!!”
- Toward Orgon, who was consolidating his army around his main body out of terror and
- trepidation, it advanced. The miserable body, which had suppressed its manifestation to a
- minimum, just enough to exist and move, now poured its remaining Power of Existence into
- itself… a power that would never be replenished.
- A transformation began.
- Flesh and skin covered the bones, and hair grew long. The rags became a medieval-style
- costume with puffed upper sleeves, and spurred long boots stepped on the ground. A
- dazzling silver breastplate and tassets were fitted to his torso and waist, and a helmet
- modeled after a crown was placed upon his head. A thick sword belt was slung like a sash
- over his shoulder, from which a saber of intricate design was hung. Finally, a cape covering
- half his body from the left shoulder billowed out.
- A young man with a gallant countenance stood there. His slender, tall form approached
- Orgon with the same slow steps as the ragged skeleton.
