  5. The recipie i have made creates 30 cookies (plus or minus one or two cookies). I have made it with AAAA hybrids, with AA weak sativa and with unsmokeable male plant bunk. If you Decomboxoilxe properly; you will be suprised how little bud you need. Below is a chart which you can generally go by to get a faily consistant potency batch to batch.
  6. 10g of AAAA hybrid bud, or 15g of AA Sativa + 2g of AAAA hybrid, or 40g of male plant
  7. Depending on what effect you want your cookies you give you; I will define the feeling as 'walking on air' or 'warm and fuzzy'. The more potent bud gives you more of the 'walking on air' feelings; probably because it has more THC. The male plant will have some THC but lots of other goodness that helps relax you and can help with sore or inflamed muscles. I suggest using a weak sative and adding a gram or two of a stronger bud you would normally smoke. With that being said; if those plants you grew somehow all turned into males; dont worry, they will make great cookies.
  8. Either way, start low and go slow. If you made a batch of 30 cookies with 5g's of AAAA bud and they turn out to be a bit weak. No problem; eat the other half of the cookie.

  10. Decomboxoilxing
  11. There is lots of information out on the net about different methods to decombozilixe bud. From what i have read; different parts that make up the 'goodness' decomboxoilixe at different temperatures. And as the temperature increases some 'goodness' can be destroyed. My first batches i didnt decomboxilixe at all; and instead baked the cookies as 220deg F for a longer time. I dont think these batches utilized all the 'goodness'. One kinda gross indicator was the next day having farts that kinda smelt like bud. yep gross.
  12. Right of the hop, i suggest going to the thrift store and finding a used mini oven that can go as low as 160 deg fahrenheit. You will heat the bud at a higher temp; but it gives you the option to try lower temperature and longer duration. Most mini ovens have a timer; I suggest one of these.
  13. I suggest finding one with a timer; and placing it in your garage because it does have a slight smell. If you notice a real potent smell then you are likely cooking it at a to high temperature.

  15. 1) Gather the bud you want to use for your cookies and set it aside for a 2 or 3 days to allow it to get very dry.
  16. 2) Grind up dry bud with a spice grinder until it is basically a powder.
  17. 3) With some parchment paper; make a pouch the size of the tray in your mini oven. Evenly spread the bud powder in the pouch.
  18. 4) Set the temperature of the mini oven to 180 or 190 deg fahrenheit for minimum 2 hours. It does not have to be 2 consecutive hours. I have heated the bud 2 or 3 times in an evening where i have forgot about it and the oven and its contents went back to room temperature.

  23. 1 cup brown sugar
  24. 1 tablespoon baking soda
  25. 1/2 cup butter melted
  26. 1/2 cup vegitable oil
  27. 2 tablespoons ground corriander
  28. 2 tablespoons liquid caramel flavor (optional)
  29. a few tablespoons of water (if needed)

  33. 1) In a measuring cup put 1/2 cup of butter and microwave until melted. Add a 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and mix. If you are adding caramel flavoring; you can add it to the measuring cup of butter and oil.

  35. 2) In a large bowl mix the 3 cups of flower; 1 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of ground corriander and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Mix thoroughly untill any and all clumps are gone. (brown sugar tends to clump up a bit)

  37. 3) After the dry ingredients (less the most important one) is mixed; add the bud. Again mix this really well. (make sure that the bud is a fine powder)

  39. 4) Add the butter/oil mix to the dry ingredients and mix until its all one consistancy. It should not be flakey. You may need to add a few table spoons of water.

  41. 5) Cut a piece of partchment paper about 50cm long; and place it curve down in landscape orientation on your work surface.

  43. 6) Harnessing your grade 1 self; form the dough into a log roughly 5 or 6 cm in diameter. It should also be about 30 or 35cm long.

  45. 7) With the Green Log of Happiness +2 in the center of the partcment paper; grab both the top and bottom of the partchment and lift up. Pinching closer and closer toward the log; fold the partchment over to one side so it is snug to the log.

  47. 8) Rolling within the partchment; do your best to make it an equal diameter the length of the log. You will need to open it up and form the ends a bit. It is expected the ends may crumble a bit. If they crumble alot; put it all back into the bowl and add a tablespoon or two, mix and repeat step 8.

  49. 9) Now that your log is a consistant diameter and the ends are somewhat squared. use a knife to gently score about 30 equal portions. With the log being about 30cm, each score should be 1cm. If you are way off you can roll the log a bit and try again.

  51. 10) Now you are ready to make portions. Using a baking scraper; cut straight down on your score marks and make a cookie 'slice'. They will be a bit crumbly so carefully put onto a baking sheet. For 30 or so cookies i use 2 of the smaller sized baking sheets. The ones where two can fit side by side in a standard oven. (Althought not 100% necessary; spray the pans with some cooking spray)

  53. 11) Prehead the oven to 200 deg fahrenheit. Bake the cookies for 40 min. They should rise just a bit.

  55. 12) When they are done cooking; let them cool for about 20 min then with the baking scraper make 'X's on each cookie. Pressing 1/3 to 1/2 into the cookie. These cuts will make it easier to break the cookie in half or in quarters.

  57. 13) After making cuts in the cookie; place the cookie trays in the freezer overnight. Remove from the cookie sheets and place in a lockable container and store in the freezer.

  61. I suggest start low and go slow. Just to be sure; every batch i make i will start with 1/8th of a cookie and usually have the other 1/8th after an hour or so has passed. Everyone is different so start low and go slow. I also suggest not mixing edibles with alcholol or anything else (including doctor perscribed medications). Canabis is a drug; so use common sense people. If its your first time; do it supervised, have a Sherpa so to speak and do it on a day you feel good and have had lots of sleep. Best idea is to talk to your doctor first. If you are on doctor perscribed meds or have heart or other health issues; canabis edibles may not be for you.
