- The demon, already of a frighteningly larger size, since the last time - was munching on fish on a small hill when he noticed the approaching Dowain..
- His attention was focused on this one, one that he knw, one who was once together with a squire that attacked him.. One, that was prey for him.
- And at that, the being would jump.. With enough force and speed to land next to the young knight, causing the occult mass of his burly body to shudder, "You.. Stop.. There..
- You.. Enemy..
- You.. From.. Star.. City..
- You.. Prey." His teeth were bared as a grin formed on that disgusting visage of the demon.. A putrid smell coming from his as he did.
- From his waist a shiv was removed, while from his form red lightning bolts - emanating the occultic energies.. sprang in all directions, briniging certain devastation to the landscape.
- "Belfanur.. Hunt.. You..
- Eat.. Grow.. STRONGER!" And in that, he wasgetting ready.. His form changing quickly, preparing for combat, before leaping in Dowain's direction without warning!
- (Belfanur)
- It hadn't been more than a week since his unfortunate encounter with the demoness. His body-- His injuries, they were quite severe. It wasn't as if he had been sent here against his will. Armand himself had instructed him to rest until he was fully healed. However, Dowain found himself unable to do as instructed.
- And that was how we got here. With him facing the frighteningly larger Belfanur. Both of them knew, immediately, they both knew the truth and understood that they were enemies. There was no need for introductions.
- "I see ye' can talk now, huh."
- Still, Dowain couldn't help but to be surprised, it hadn't been long since he last saw Belfanur and now the creature was able to even go as far as to speak. Not to mention the clear growth he had experienced. A troublesome foe, indeed.
- But it wasn't as if the squire hadn't gone through his own growth spurt too. Even if injured, he believed that he was strong enough to at least take care of this one demon.
- No, he had to take care of him before he could reach the levels of that demoness. The blonde feared for what would come if he had to face yet another creature like that.
- Just as Belfanur took out a shiv, Dowain took out his trusty rifle, pointing it towards the beast that stood not far from him.
- "Frickin' lightnin'.
- Out all things that ye' could use, huh. It just had to be frickin' lightnin' magic.
- Ye' fatty bitch."
- Soon enough the first shot was fired and fight begun.
- (Dowain)
- And as soon as the first shot was fired, several serpent-like vines came forth, aiding the marksman in his advance.
- The field that they were in, it would come down, mud was now everywhere, giving Dowain a seemingly unfair advance when put against the demon and his shiv.
- With all that set in motion, it didn't take long before Belfegur was brought down. It goes without say that he is quite an easy target given his size.
- Time and time again he was shot, allowing the seemingly frivolous poison to start to take action.
- "Hope yer' havin' a good time 'cuz I sure am, buddy."
- The squire grinned as he continued to hit the creature with more and more pellets, all of them clearly bathed in poison.
- (Dowain)
- Against the armed squire, the demon would have quite the difficulty, more than expected.. For the ground itself became its enemy, in its primal advance.
- Oh no.
- At this point the creature's teeth were already clenching against each other, emitting an audible sound across that plain.. His lightning? They brought flames to the surrounding grasses.
- Yet..
- Due to his size, he was hit by a shot that made him recoil..
- While his enemy's hateful words mocked him - "You.. Silly.. Meat.. Creature.. You.. Will.. Become.. FOOD!" And in that, his eyes glowed with occult energy..
- Before the young demon's advance began once again.
- (Belfanur)
- "Pfft-" Seeing how badly the creature reacted to his mockery of him, Dowain had to try his very best to not break out in frantic laughter, "-shit, ye' really tryin' every trick on the book, fatty!" and soon enough, he would go back to acting appropriately given that he still had a beast to hunt.
- Lightning and Occult, what a wretched combination it was.
- "... frickin' crazy chick, just ye' wait."
- Anyhow, Belfanur had yet to mature-- he was pretty much like a child, learning about the many dangers of Esshar.
- And because of that, the blonde couldn't help but to wonder how long it would take before he reached the level of that particular demoness, the very one that struck him using similar magic to Belfanur.
- "I can't let ye' be, fatty. 'N I can't say I feel bad for any of this--"
- Soon enough, the trees around them both started to move, to shake. It was asif they had come to life. A cloud of spores would come forth and together with those serpent-like vines, they struck Belfanur.
- His movements were brought to a forceful halt. Leaving Dowain able to unleash a rain of bullets on the creature.
- The creature's flesh and bones would be pierced, allowing the poison held within those pellets to spread across the beast's body.
- A lethal poison spread across Belfanur's body, lethal enough enough to kill a grown man in a matter of seconds.
- "Please, please just die--"
- (Dowain)
- Really compared to the other beings of his race, Belfanur.. He was young, he was growing and developing.. Hunting and feeding.. He wasn't at its peak yet..
- Yet here he was, fighting the Squire with all his might!
- But that was not enough, for even the best that he could do to fight against the squire would not do it and then, the cloud of spores and bullet came, crashing against him - against his burly body, which shuddered given the impact, as the occultic mass bathed in an extremely powerful poison created by Dowain!
- Able to kill non-magis and weaker mages with ease..
- And something, that would make the being sway before falling backwards.. At first, he seemed to have.. Died? That's what they could tell from his disgusting appearance, of how he looked at the moment.. Before then, that creature jumped up!
- And start using the woods to escape.. Running away from danger once again!
- Remarkably his movements WERE sluggish, he was being influenced by the poison coursing through the flesh of that vessel - but he hadn't died yet.. That wasn't enough to make the abomination succumb.
- And so.. It surely would return soon enough.
- Stronger.. Bigger.. And probably more fat.
- (Belfanur)
