- Halloween Party **Necessary
- One time scene. Spacious room, a lot of Halloween decorations, should have a handful of people scattered around depending on how much that costs, all dressed in costumes (including at least one sheet ghost.) Thinking a primarily blue palette? Can have a punch table, or just a nice couch or something. Could show stairs to the side, or opening to a kitchen, or whatever. Maybe two backgrounds might be best for this, I'm just hesitant bc unlike all the other backgrounds listed here we're only using this for once scene.
- Dorm
- Two person dorm, pretty spacy since they got into something pretty prestigious. I feel for convenience's sake we can just use the attached dorm layout, if potentially smaller or something or rearranged to make it visibly easier to work with. Diana records her videos here. I'll most likely be a little specific request wise re: the decorations of the room since the main character and one of the love interests lives here. No background characters.
- Street/Storefront
- A street with stores on either side, can probably go with the angle where they're on the sidewalk and the background is a random storefront (that will probably turn seasonal come Christmas time.) A garden store or confectionary sounds most fun, but I think anything works here. Can have hanging plants, or like tree branches peeking in from the side to make things feel a little more organic.
- Cafe
- A small hole in the wall cafe, fairly typical and cozy, but does well for itself. Gets everything from socialites to beleaguered college students. Run by like two people tops, may have a handful of patrons as well. May have booths but doesn't need to, same with a wall of merchandise. Probably has at least a couple potted plants. I tried looking around and I attached a couple reference images if any of it looks appealing.
- Hunter's Living Room
- Something on the modest sized, foresty/non-bright colors primarily, with optional bursts of color provided mainly by the Hunter's daughter living there. Crayons on a coffee table or a stuffed animal, etc. A TV can be there but doesn't necessarily have to be shown. I spent an hour googling reference images and many of them are a little Too austere for what I feel personally, so if there's a way to tone it down just a smidge that may be nice? I think he tries hard to make a friendly and nice home mostly for his daughter even if he doesn't have all the sense for it.
- Doctor's Living Room
- The Doctor has a bigger budget and also a lot more fussy taste wise about his decor, even if he tries to be modest about most things and is quite humble as a person. Think aristocracy or royalty (since that's what he used to be) but toned down a fair amount. I bet he keeps his fireplace on no matter what. Big bookshelves, a lot of red, bet there's a classic painting in there too. I attached some images but I haven't done too much research and I put way more faith in you re: any sort of architecture than I ever will in myself.
- Beach
- Beach!!! They more specifically go to Daytona most likely because that's the most fun beach in FL next to Cocoa. It's unfortunately during Spring Break so there's going to be a couple background characters, but it's a pretty goofy time all around. Umbrellas, boogie boards, sand castles, ice cream trucks, etc. Take your pick and have fun with it! There's usually also kites.
- Small Garden
- Yvonne has a large house and most likely a large garden, but we don't need to see most of it. Primarily flowers (her favorites are forget-me-nots and hydrangea but anything flies) but can plant other things as well, can have hanging plants, or those ones that run up walls or etc. Should have a wooden or metal set of table + chairs. This is her little private corner of the world and she personally tends to it so it should be like a small corner to feel more intimate even though she's got some acres under her name. Like a place to hold tea parties or relax.
- Park
- Just a normal park, with as many or as little flowers as you'd like but most likely has a lot of foliage. Maybe a fountain? Should be fairly generic and pretty, there aren't a lot of parks where I live so I'm sorry for the vagueness, googling Virginia Parks made them all looked drab. Should maybe have a couple of background characters but maybe it'd be weird to see them every time you went...? I kinda think of PKMN's National Park ngl.
- Library
- Generic college library, I don't think there's avoiding all the books but they can all be pretty nondescript, I think? A table should probably be visible but I'm not all that picky about this one. Should be well lit enough.
- Hotel Room
- Typical beach hotel room, two queen sized beds, should be fairly neat and simple, they're usually pretty plain from my experience. Maybe toss in a dolphin painting or smth, idk. Lighting shouldn't be too sterile, maybe red as the main accent color? This is where a lot of the pivotal romance scenes occur even though it doesn't really seem like it, aha.
- Bar
- Small college/sports/dive bar, dim lighting, bottles up against the wall, etc. Can probably go super simple and front facing the bar so the bottles could be copy and pasted easily for your end, with adjustment to label here and there etc. Doesn't necessarily have to have the bartender in the shot, and if other patrons are in the photos it can just be like their elbows/backs, if that makes sense.
