Date the family

Covet: Kelsey was sitting on the couch, holding the baby, because it's a baby and it's a newborn and she hasn't held one in so long, so she hadn't put him down since Cadence had dropped him off. Trick's carseat was sitting next to the couch along with the backpack Cadence had for the diaper bag, that was stuffed with MORE than he'd ever need for a few hours tonight. Kelsey was rocking him gently in her arms as she fed him his bedtime bottle, humming a little as she watched him.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad was sitting on the opposite end of the couch with his laptop in his lap sort of just staring at Kelsey with the baby. He had very limited experience with a newborn and was just a little afraid of how tiny and fragile he was despite the fact that Brad likes kids. This wasnt a kid, this was easy to break porcelain. "Is he okay?" He asked in a gentle whisper, not wanting to make any sudden loud sounds.-
Covet: "He's fine, they don't require too much when they're this little. And they're also a lot cuter when they're this little too." She said with a smile, tucking her pinky up into his little hand, feeling Trick give it a squeeze as he grasped it. "I kind of miss Connor being this little." Kelsey said whimsically.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know about cuter. It's a different kind of cute. Connor is just as cute, but in an older way. It's just different." He said with a shrug as he watched them. "You definitely look good with him though. Do you think you would want to give Connor a sibling?"-
Covet: "They're even cuter if they're your own." Kelsey said with a laugh then looked over at Brad,smiling at first then furrowing her brow, "Well yeah, of course. at least one. When the time is right this time, though."
Alexithymiaa: "Do you think Connor would be excited about having a baby brother or sister?" Brad asked, thinking about his own sister and how he'd heard stories about how furious she was when he was born. It's a family joke.-
Covet: "I think so yeah. I think he's at an age now, and has another parent in his life, that he wouldn't feel like he wasn't getting any attention. He was really good with Ozzie and Katie's little girl. I think he'd be proud to be a big brother. I think the age gap would help too. There's a good gap between me and Haven, and I never had any issues with having a little brother."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, but Ava is six years older than me and she was apparently still a brat about having a little brother. I don't know, I guess I just feel for the potential younger sibling getting bullied endlessly because Connor doesn't want to share you. It happens a lot."-
Covet: "I think that has more to do with Ava personally than it does anything thing else." Kelsey said with a laugh. "Well, I like to think, that we'd have a better handle on such things, and I think he'll do alright sharing. He does pretty good sharing me with you." Kelsey said sticking her tongue out at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, realllyyyyy not the same thing." Brad said with narrowed eyes, leaning back into the cushions behind him. "Besides, what happens when both of our attention is focused more on the baby? It happens with a new baby because they demand so much. Then what?"-
Covet: "We'll make time for Connor to have just you, or me, or us both." She said setting Patrick back down in his carseat now that he'd dozed off after finishing his bottle. "It's not that complicated to be aware of your children's needs. And I'm sure that Connor would want to help too."
Alexithymiaa: "We're already busy with our careers and there isn't even a second child. You really think that's going to be so easy?" He asked, leaning forward a bit to look down at Trick in the carseat.-
Covet: "Which is why I said I'd like to...when the time is right. Obviously that is not right now." Kelsey said, patting Brad on the leg as he looked at the baby. "What about you...do you want one?"
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah. I just don't like them when they're this small. I feel like I'm going to break him. If it could be born and instantly be like... two or three years old, that would be ideal. I don't know how to handle little babies. They're cute and all, but not sleeping at all and bottles and supporting their heads? I'll mess that up really fast."-
Covet: "Well, you're not alone, and you'll quickly find out that babies bounce and are way more resilient than you might think. Also... We're successful, so like everything else in your life...we'd probably hire on some as needed help." Kelsey told him, because THAT was an acceptable use of hiring someone.
Alexithymiaa: "Can I hire someone to teach me how to raise a kid?" He asked with a laugh, trying to might light of the situation because he wasnt thrilled with the idea of admitting he didnt know how to care for small babies. "I'm sure Holly would stay on to help with a new baby though."-
Covet: "They have classes for first time parents, and that's what you have me for silly. I did pretty good with the one we got now." She told him giving him a bit of a nudge then felt her phone vibrate. She looked down at it and saw the message from Cadence, "They're done at the bar, I guess Noah is having a tantrum or something."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, you did pretty good I guess." He said with a grin. "Oh yeah? Surprise surprise. The baby is acting like a baby. I swear that kid runs hot and cold between really cool and chill, and extremely annoying."-
Covet: "Mhhm. That's okay, he'll learn quick or the hard way with Steph. The only baby she puts up with is this little guy. Felix doesn't even get away with that kind of behavior." Kelsey said with a laugh, "I never thought I'd see the day, where you weren't the most annoying person I knew" She teased him sticking her tongue out.

Covet: [She chose her fate...she only has herself to blame XD]
Alexithymiaa: "No one is allowed to be that annoying." He said quickly, trying to disregard Kelsey's comment because it was mean and he didnt like it. "He's just so immature. I guess he'll eventually grow out of it." THE IRONY. "I mean... I don't know. I would put up with that from Felix. He's pretty hot. I put up with the dumb things Ozzie says because he's hot. It's all give and take." He said with a shrug, sliding down to be comfier while he worked on his laptop.-
Covet: "We can only hope he does." Kelsey said then laughed, "It's probably a good thing Noah isn't your type... I mean you've already dated Steph and are dating me... people might start wondering if you hooked up with another family member." She said while making sure all of Patrick's stuff was put together for when Cadence got there to pick him up.
