  4. [16:58] Nazaam Thrax asks, "Hello sprite, enjoying the weather?"
  5. [17:04] John Sparrow says, "Hey Nazaam."
  6. [17:05] John Sparrow says, "Oi, and Lavender."
  7. [17:07] Kalia makes a massive shadowy hand as it submerges itself straight into the sand and scoops the zombie out and places them down on the ground next to her.
  8.
  9. "Should make a sand castle with'ya shit 'stead of drowinin' in it." She chuckles.
  10. (Kalia)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. [17:08] Nazaam Thrax asks, "You about to head out and look for a fight Sparrow?"
  14. [17:08] Nill would remain motionless as Smurg blasted sand everywhere. Just being coated, and continuing to fish in relative silence despite the sand. Winds dusting him back on off.
  15. (Nill)
  16. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.
  18. [17:08] John Sparrow says, "Going to look for one. There was a theif that attacked me a few days back, I beat them up, but they swore they'd find me again."
  19. [17:09] John Sparrow says, "So, I don't like being hunted, ha."
  20. [17:09] Baalzhah'Ar would made his way back from the considerably long trip. He endured the obstacles that were beyond this area. Jones accidentally lead to a temple, a couple of trees, and all sorts of things. While they were stuck wondering about he agreed to assist the skeleton in finding some ore, using a little of knowledge he had about the outside world. He used to be human, after all. A couple of collected ore can be seen being held in his hands and arms, bundles of iron, a few adamantite, and some copper for extras just in case Sparrow would need them. The man would laugh proud fully. "I've picked up a few copper! Just for you sir!"
  21.
  22. He drops the ore onto the sand for the horned stranger to retrieve them.
  23. (Baalzhah'Ar)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [17:09] Forgotten says, "Oh.."
  27. [17:09] John Sparrow says, "Don't really need Copper but, ai."
  28. [17:09] John Sparrow says, "I will be back with some equipment for you."
  29. [17:10] John turns around back to the mire for a moment to forge equipment for the kid.
  30. (John Sparrow)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [17:10] He felt like taking the darkness from people.
  34. (Forgotten)

  44.
  45. [17:10] Nazaam crossed his arms behind his back; letting out a wistful sigh.
  46. (Nazaam Thrax)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  49. [17:11] "quote"
  50. (Baalzhah'Ar)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [17:11] John Sparrow asks, "Real quick, kid. You want a sword, gloves, or a staff?"
  54. [17:12] Baalzhah'Ar says, "I want a stave. Please."
  55. [17:12] John Sparrow says, "Alright. Be back."
  56. [17:13] John comes back with a set of Armor, Adamanite, and a staff, which appeared to be mostly adamanite.
  57. (John Sparrow)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59.
  60. [17:13] Genevieve is just kind of wiggling awkwardly at first, though she stops once she's picked from the ground like a vegetable. Soon upright and on her feet again, she responds first--"Pfffft,"--by spitting out a stream of sand like water. Of course it's also in her hair and all over her clothes and discolored skin, but seemingly unbothered, Genevieve looks to the wolf girl beside her.
  61.
  62. "Huh. Thanks for the assist," she says, taking a little step forward and looking up to Kaila with a wide grin. "Say, y'got any food on you?"
  63. (Geneviève)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [17:13] The skeleton gave a wave to John from a distance, "Oi, Johnny Boy." he said in response to the man's own greeting. The shambling of bones was now joined by the clanking of ore. He skulked up to the mutant and gave a few taps of his ribs after John had returned from smithing whatever it was he'd made for Baal.
  67.
  68. "Got whatever I could get." he'd proceed to pull open his ribcage and let the ores fall out. "Couldn't find much good stuff though.
  69. (Boney Jones)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [17:13] John Sparrow says, "Good good, keep materials coming by the way."
  73. [17:13] Nazaam Thrax says, "Sparrow, I'll join you on a grand hunt."
  74. [17:13] Baalzhah'Ar says, "It suits well."
  75. [17:13] John Sparrow says, "Oh? I didn't know you where interested in such things Nazaam."
  76. [17:13] John Sparrow says, "Alright let us go."
  77. [17:13] Nazaam Thrax says, "Of course I am! The stage is there to be performed on."
  78. [17:14] Forgotten says, "I dont like him..."
  79. [17:15] John Sparrow says, "Oi, it's ok Rookie not all monsters are the same."
  80. [17:15] John Sparrow says, "Alright, Rookie and Boney, I want yall to be training for when I return."
  81. [17:15] John Sparrow says, "So I can give ya' both a head pat."
  82. [17:15] Baalzhah'Ar asks, "Say? Should we spar then?"
  83. [17:17] Nazaam slipped his hands into his pockets. Casually following along behind Sparrow as they wandered the lands. He could vaguely here the songs of high impact pop in the background. Was this an opening sequence to a wonderful performance?
  84. (Nazaam Thrax)
  85. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  86.
  87. [17:17] * You have been awarded 3 Roleplay Points! *
  88. [17:21] John Sparrow says, "Huh nice bow."
  89. [17:21] Trife says, "Yeah, it's pretty old."
  90. [17:21] Nazaam gazes across the gap at the box.
  91. (Nazaam Thrax)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. [17:21] Wesley is a box...
  95. (Wesley T.)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [17:21] Nazaam Thrax says, "Sparrow...."
  99. [17:22] Nazaam Thrax says, "There's a box."
  100. [17:22] Trife doesn't notice a box... nothing weird with that.
  101. (Trife)
  102. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  103.
  104. [17:22] John Sparrow asks, "Huh? The box ghost?"
  105. [17:22] John Sparrow asks, "I mean what?"
  106. [17:22] Nazaam Thrax says, "I want it."
  107. [17:22] John Sparrow says, "Take the box then Nazaam. No one is around."
  108. [17:22] Wesley is a box with manure painted on the side...
  109. (Wesley T.)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [17:22] Trife asks, "Why would you need a box...?"
  113. [17:22] Nazaam Thrax says, "..."
  114. [17:22] John Sparrow asks, "Anyways, I am rather bored and came looking for a mortal to test my skills against. Would you do me the honours?"
  115. [17:23] Nazaam Thrax says, "For stealth missions."
  116. [17:23] John Sparrow says, "He has a point."
  117. [17:23] Trife asks, "Sure, you feel that confident?"
  118. [17:23] John he takes a long drag off his cigarette nodding his head a few times.
  119. (John Sparrow)
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  121.
  122. [17:23] John Sparrow says, "Ai I feel pretty confident."
  123. [17:23] Nazaam left Johnny to handle the bunny and walked over to the box.
  124. (Nazaam Thrax)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [17:23] Trife says, "Sure then, last guy claimed he was a god then... lost."
  128. [17:23] Wesley is a box in distress...
  129. (Wesley T.)
  130. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  131.
  132. [17:24] John hears Mori, waves to him.
  133. (John Sparrow)
  134. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  135.
  136. [17:24] John Sparrow says, "Nah I will not be like, ahh I am a god amongst men or any of that."
  137. [17:24] Mori Nods towards John.
  138. (Mori Reave)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [17:24] John Sparrow says, "Just a captain."
  142. [17:24] Nazaam looked at Mori for a moment then turned their focus back to the box. Leaning down the grabbed each side of the box and started to lift.
  143. (Nazaam Thrax)
  144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  145.
  146. [17:25] Wesley clings onto the internal box straps... It's a HEAVY BOX...
  147. (Wesley T.)
  148. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  149.
  150. [17:26] Nazaam strains for a moment and then drops the box. Letting out a sigh as they brought two arms up to wipe the sweat from their brow. "Phew! Alright, fine that's a heavy box." They shifted their gaze to Mori. "Captain, mind giving me a hand with this box? I feel the manure would be useful back on the coast."
  151. (Nazaam Thrax)
  152. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  153.
  154. [17:28] There was a small pause as Mori glanced over towards the box. Then back towards Nazaam and letting out a small sigh. A heavy box way out here? All he had was a single suggestion in truth.
  155.
  156. "Ya' tried crushin' whatevers inside da' box first before ya' try n' take it? Broken things are easier ta' carry than solid things." A shrug. Then again, boxes weren't exactly needed on the Coast.
  157.
  158. That was a city thing.
  159. (Mori Reave)
  160. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  161.
  162. [17:28] The Private clings onto the inside of the box for dear life.
  163.
  164. The cardboard structure visibly tends to his weight, but he refuses to relent. No, the youth had rather achieved the desires effect. His legs were not spotted. As the box is put down he relaxes a tad, sinking to the floor...
  165.
  166. Wait, who would want to take MANURE HOME?!
  167.
  168. Suddenly, the youth jolts up, his legs sticking out beneath the box's form. Without so much as taking it off he starts sprinting towards the bannister, aiming to keep some large distance between himself and whatever creature was attempting to abduct him.
  169. (Wesley T.)
  170. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  171.
  172. [17:32] The wretch's head tilted as he contemplated the shark's suggestion. Crush what's in the box? It was supposed to be manure wasn't it already crushed once it came out?! Then again there was some logic in it and he really couldn't argue with the idea of destroying something!
  173.
  174. "Well! Don't have to tell me twice; now let's just get the right lighting." As the mutant spoke a hand reached back to heft the heavy staff on his back. Spinning it around he brought it up and then? The box freaking started running away!
  175.
  176.
  177. "Aaaah! Haunted box, perfect for the Mire!" With a twist of his wrists the staff twirled and he brought it down upon the ground. A wash of tainted magics shot forwards to catch the box in its run! He'd just have to overwhelm the ghost's senses with his natural affinity for chaos!
  178.
  179. "Not so fast ya' shit!"
  180. (Nazaam Thrax)
  181. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  182.
  183. [17:36] Oh, if only he was quicker. The damn beast assaults the earth, catching the fleeing private within its tainted grasp. Wesley shudders, then grows strangely calm as he takes in this new, though terrible sensation. After the intrigue wears off as the beast makes an approach, his fear kicks back in.
  184.
  185. Suddenly, the youth's head JOLTS out of the box with interior runic engravings activating an emergency exclamation mark with an accompanying sound file. It signified distress. "I'm not a ghost!" He yells, quivering under the effects of its magic.
  186.
  187. "It's just a box!" A now fairly damaged box hanging on its last legs...
  188.
  189. Oh, sweet boxy...
  190. (Wesley T.)
  191. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  192.
  193. [17:44] Rupert goes up to Mori and jumps high! He plants a kiss on the Orca's cheek before taking stand next to him.
  194. (Rupert Barnaby)
  195. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  196.
  197. [17:44] Rupert Barnaby asks, "What are we doing? Guarding the mines? Do we get to keep the money? Should I tell your secretary?"
  198. [17:44] Rupert Barnaby asks, "Should I tell mine?"
  199. [17:45] Mori Reave says, "A-"
  200. [17:45] Mori coughed a bit.
  201. (Mori Reave)
  202. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  203.
  204. [17:45] Mori Reave says, "I'm guardin' da' mine fer a bit yes...and typically we split da' money with any other achyon personal."
  205. [17:45] Nazaam's eyes widened for a moment as some random teenager's head popped out of the box. Needless to say it wasn't the expected outcome and his expression darkened. No box ghost? Less interesting! Still though the nature of the box as a disguise was proven to be formidable!
  206.
  207. "Just a box? Weeeeellll! Then that mean's you've display a great deal of skill in deceiving me." With a twirl of their stave they brought a hand forwards, claw extended to point accusingly at Wesley! "Why have you hidden within a box at my approach!? Were you attempting to ambush." Dramatically the mutant rolled his wrist, tilting his face upwards so the light cast on it dramatically. "I, Nazaam Thrax!?"
  208.
  209. After the pause the mutant's frame began to glow with a faint bluish-purple flame. Ethereal sparks rising to the forefront as their head snapped back down upon the Achyonite. "Well, I'm a little to smartfor that." Their attention shifted towards the other black hat that'd arrived but... Well they didn't seem to care.
  210.
  211. Emerald hues returned to Wesley, "Prepare thyself for the stage! I offered no chance for a rehersal!" Occultism washed over the grass at his feet. Green blades of grass curling into cracked and purple death.
  212. (Nazaam Thrax)
  213. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  214.
  215. [17:47] Rupert looks over to Nazaam, who seemed a little upset.
  216. (Rupert Barnaby)
  217. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  218.
  219. [17:48] Rupert Barnaby says, "He looks scary when he's mad."
  220. [17:48] Mori Reave says, "True...buuuut- I'm, i'm sure they can handle it."
  221. [17:49] Well, Nazaam was partially right...
  222.
  223. "W-what?! No!" He exclaims, confused and disorientated by this whole experience. His field test of Box MK1 had resulted in the opposite of recognisance and opportune ambush.
  224.
  225. It was WESLEY who was being assaulted!
  226.
  227. Suddenly, the youth leaps out of the way of the coming attack. It tears his box to shreds as it is left to bare the brunt of the damage. Glancing back to it, Wesley sheds a tear.
  228.
  229. That box was supposed to be put in a museum some day with his other great inventions and prototypes.
  230.
  231. He looks back at the beast.
  232.
  233. Wesley looked pissed.
  234.
  235. "I'll show you a dance!" He yells back, launching a barrage of chains at the creature. He screams, empowered by his inventors rage.
  236. (Wesley T.)
  237. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  238.
  239. [17:55] From afar, the Feng observes these ongoing acts of violence.
  240. (Lin Feng)
  241. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  242.
  243. [17:56] This was it, this was finally his chance to get EVEN!
  244.
  245. How many times had people walked over him? Wesley tried his best to find an agreeable conclusion to hostilities. He even tried his best not to get involved in them unless they were forced upon him. But still, week after week, they just would not let him be.
  246.
  247. Wesley screams as he unleashes entire barrages of magic at the beast.
  248.
  249. He was losing the plot.
  250.
  251. "Dance for me! Dance! Do you know the square root of pie?!" He exclaims, a bunch hitting his gut... "I-I'll make you know it!" Following the statement entire volleys of time orbs make contact with the creature. They seemed unending.
  252.
  253. "How do you like this dance?!" He aims his gun and fires repeatedly. Not even trying to be accurate, he recoil is palpable. Each shot was like a small bomb exploding against its chest.
  254. (Wesley T.)
  255. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  256.
  257. [17:56] From the woods came a beastkin, on his way to his guarding duties once again. He'd float around like always, and when he arrived he'd simply look at the 'monster' standing in front of Wesley. Dernust was quite calm when it came to meeting monsters! He knew most of them were nice, anyways.
  258.
  259. He'd simply stand there, listening to their conversation calmly. They were uh... talking about crates and a performance?... And, the 'monster'... oh this is not good at all.
  260.
  261. He'd back off, staring at the monster and picking up The Commander's Mercy, his newly-crafted rifle. He'd put in bullets and simply watch as both Wesley and Nazaam fought. After all, Wesley a more than competent Private! And, should he lose the fight, Dernust'd be quick to jump in with a flurry of shots.
  262.
  263. But he knew he wouldn't need to. Wesley can handle it! Right?
  264. (Dernust Flathair)
  265. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  266.
  267. [18:00] The battle began with a fearsome deluge of chains from the young Black-hat! It wasn't something Nazaam was used to and the way the Mutant got pummeled no doubt hinted towards that fact. Each rush of the stave wilding wretch was met with a punish return.
  268.
  269. Cast aside once or twice the Mutant kept his distance. Trying to get a feel for his footing and clear the cobwebs from his mind. The ringing of bells within his thoughts kept him bewildered. "Damnable bells won't stop ringing." Ethereal energy flared from his shoulders like flames as he sought to regain his focus.
  270.
  271. He then heard a shouting from across the field. What was that? Pie? His head tilted as glowing spheres narrowed upon Wesley. "Dance? Pie! What kind of banter is this to bring to the great-" His words cut off as bullets started to blast his way!
  272.
  273. Quickly the mutant pirouetted, smoothly spinning in a graceful display as they began to... Yes, dance, actually dancing as the shots rang out. Ballet wasn't the first thing you'd expect but as he danced a certain tempo began to come together.
  274.
  275. Then? Well then he leapt high and rushed the Black hat once more! Waves of raw occultism rolling off him like a great cap! "Improve not your style black hat!"
  276. (Nazaam Thrax)
  277. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  278.
  279. [18:04] {Won Dangerous RPB against Wesley T.}
  280. [18:04] ** Nazaam Thrax has inflicted an injury upon Wesley T.. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  281. [18:21] That rush was all it took to close the gap between the two magi and while Wesley had displayed a mastery over ranged combat that Nazaam simply couldn't match. The towering mutant's raw strength and sickening aura being brought to bear against Wesley was to much!
  282.
  283. Shots rang out but every bullet either bounced off the steel hidden under Nazaam's cloak offering protection that wasn't clear right off the bat! Yet, that corrupting aura sapped at Wesley's strength the longer they stayed close. Hurtling blasts of ethereal energy was exchanged with great chains of iron!
  284.
  285. Leaping back across the field the Mutant picked up an energetic banter. "Yes-yes! You're not so great at improve but no worries! Nazaam is willing to show you a thing or two." It was then the wiry mutant powerful legs shifted and he brought his staff to the side, purple flames erupted from his back as his gaze settled on Wesley and he spoke across the gap.
  286.
  287. "Time for your final curtain call."
  288.
  289. With the line spoken in such a dramatic fashion the Mutant leapt across the field. Bringing his great stave across the air to strike at Wesley! Luckily the young soldier was able to bring a block. Sadly the damage was done and by now the Mutant's hand were on him. A clawed hand shot out to grip their face, claws digging into his skin as a rush of occultic infused energy washed over them.
  290.
  291. "Can't you hear their applause little cog? They're waiting for your final lines! What's the square root of pi?~" His voice sounded harsh and yet there was a mirthful tone to it! Clearly the mutant found the whole ordeal a blast.
  292. (Nazaam Thrax)
  293. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  294.
  295. [18:29] Wesley surprised himself. He was enjoying this.
  296.
  297. The senseless violence was pleasing. It was so long since he had put up a fight against his attackers. It caused him to grow cocky and emboldened. "Do you like it?! Because I do!" The creature realized his weakness soon enough. Get close and the youth could do nothing more than try to run.
  298.
  299. It caught him.
  300.
  301. Within moments it was afflicting a curse upon him. The youth's eyes widened, the world around his vision distorts as though it were made of painfully clear gel. Unseen applaus and expectant stares peeping out of every shadow.
  302.
  303. He blinked on in a haze, staring past Nazaam who gripped his face and fed into the conversion. "I..." He feels put on the spot. Trapped on stage in his underwear. He starts shaking, sweat falling down his brow... Why could he not respond? They were waiting for him to speak.
  304.
  305. Pi... What was the root again... "On-ne... Point Seven, Seven, t-two, f-... four...." He pauses, blinking some more as he questions what he was doing here. How long had Nazaam been before him? More importantly, who was he to grip Wesley's still recovering face?
  306.
  307. Did he not realize the GERMS its hand must have?1
  308.
  309. He screams, his form becoming consumed by cosmic light from an unnamed star. His form collides against Nazaam, like a meteor striking the earth. It knocks him a fair distance back, creating distance between them. Coughing and staring erratically, Wesley spotted Dernust…
  310.
  311. "I-... F-five, three... Eight.... Zero..." He had to continue to count it. Dernust was expecting him to accomplish this.
  312. (Wesley T.)
  313. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  314.
  315. [18:31] Nazaam didn't wash his hands either. He was a true villain.
  316. (Nazaam Thrax)
  317. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  318.
  319. [18:34] ...Well, it seemed like he wasn't able to handle it.
  320.
  321. But can you really blame him? The Flathair didn't do much apart from shooting the Mutant and cast a few spells! He left it all to Wesley, as he thought this was going to be a good way to 'train' him. Of course, it was a real battle! But Dernust was there to assist him, should something happen to the Private.
  322.
  323. And something happening to him was exactly what happened. Dernust jumped out of the little platform he was on, although he wouldn't touch the ground as he was still levitating. His body began emitting light as he was reading himself for battle, and soon enough would strange orbs of light appear across the mines, all directed towards the monster. This was mainly meant to drift his attention towards Dernust, but also, dealing some damage to him.
  324.
  325. "Hey hey hey!" - He'd say in another attempt to drift the monster's attention. "Stop, stop. Enough! You did great, your performance is over though." - And soon enough, he'd point his rifle towards the monster and shoot at him several times. From watching Wesley's fight he knew it was not going to help, because, if a magitech rifle wasn't able to penetrate the monster's armour, then imagine something that relies on kinetic energy!
  326.
  327. If he learned anything with his experiments, it's that kinetic energy can only get so deep into steel. If only he had finished his rocket launcher prototype...
  328. (Dernust Flathair)
  329. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  330.
  331. [18:42] Hurtling across the grass with a cascading clanking of steel as the cosmic outlashing washed over his frame! The mutant was caught completely by surprise by the nerdy cog. So, this was what it was like to push another to their limit! "Yes-yes! Now you're shining like a star!" It'd worked, he'd pushed them to their pinnacle! The Mutant's focus shifted as orbs of light started to careen in his direction. "By the Norns!" Rolling to the side to avoid some of the magic was his best shot! Didn't help when he started to feel the plinking of lead against his armor, hel one bullet even dug into his arm!
  332.
  333. Leaping upwards he took a breath and screamed in rage. Shimmering occultic magic warped about his frame as the bullets and light shattered against his aura. Glaring spheres of emerald narrowed upon Dernhust. "Ah! Another find their time on the stage but you are quiet bold to assume you can upstage me!" With a growl the mutants footing shifted his breathing hitched as a flush of occultism washed around him. Plants dried and died as their life force was pulled into the mutant. Healing some of the damage he'd sustained in the fight with Wesley.
  334.
  335. The mutant twirled his staff about his back, hooking it behind his upper left arm as his lower left shot forwards, claws curling backwards in a come here motion. His right began to glow with purplish energy as he called upon his soul for more and more power! The fight was on!
  336. (Nazaam Thrax)
  337. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  338.
  339. [18:45] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Dernust Flathair}
  340. [18:45] ** Dernust Flathair has inflicted an injury upon Nazaam Thrax. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  341. [18:46] Nazaam Thrax says, "Possible, and I have -10 age dr"
  342. [19:09] This battle was a show of what is considered 'good' magic clashing against 'evil' magic. Dernust was a competent fighter and so was Nazaam! There were countless times when Nazaam's claws dug into the Ookami's flesh time and time again, leaving the boy open for any other attacks. But, each time he did this, Nazaam would be pushed away not by his magic, but purely by his Military Rapier.
  343.
  344. Dernust really shouldn't be using this fight as a training ground for something he just recently learned, but still! Every bit of training was necessary.
  345.
  346. Each and every attack with his blade meant he'd quickly put his rifle on his back and pull the rapier from its hip. It was a quick succession, but it still left the boy open for any and all attacks.
  347.
  348. And... because of that, Dernust constantly saw himself on losing ground. On one of these occasions, though, the light emitted from the Flathair would... change colours?! No, what?
  349.
  350. None of them were sure what colour it was, but his powers increased nonetheless. He was quick to cast a beam as he knew exactly what that meant. A connection with his star! Or at least that's he thought, based on his experiences from his fight with Esther...
  351.
  352. And, well, that was enough to bring the monster to his knees. Or, at least, make some pretty scary damage on the monster's arm! Although he could keep on fighting, it was far from ideal.
  353.
  354. And Dernust smirked, smirked because he has finally achieved something he's been wanting to do for so long! Even if for a fraction of a second. He simply turned away from the monster, letting him go. After all, he was feeling kind! And there was no reason to capture him, really.
  355.
  356. "Feel free to go now!" - He'd say, looking up at the sun. "And thank you!" - He was so happy he literally forgot the deplorable state Wesley was in...
  357. (Dernust Flathair)
  358. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  359.
  360. [19:23] This was a performance that the gods themselves would revel in! The powers of the mad and the bad clash in a brilliant lightshow! Nazaam's aggressive nature was only fueled more and more by the brilliance of Dernust's lights. It was as if the presence of the magic sent the monster into a frenzy.
  361.
  362. Bullets plinked off his plate-mail with increasing frequency as the Mutant's occultism flushed outwards to reave orbs of light away from him. The wretch knew a losing fight when he saw one and this wouldn't go his way... Unless he closed the gap!
  363.
  364. With a burst across the space between them his great staff came down in a crushing arc! Deftly deflected by a rapier's thin blade. Now was a dangerous dance as the performer engaged with the soldier. Every swing of the staff was followed by his right arm lashing out to dig his claws into the corporal. Return feints and agile slices had left red criss-crossing injuries upon the Mutant's arms.
  365.
  366. Still! That only brought the Mutant's anger to a boil! A wash of purple haze erupted out from him as his right arm rose out, palm flat as a purple glow emitted from his palm. With a mighty roar, ""Final Curtain!" a blast of raw energy rushed across the space between them! The tainted beam's very presence reeving the life of the planet as it careened towards Dernust.
  367.
  368. The meeting of that blast was one of Dernusts own. Red hot cosmic energy clashing with the corrupted soul of Thrax! Heated seconds past as they fought for dominance! Roars of anger and frustration echoed from the Mutant but it was to no avail.
  369.
  370. The red beam pushed through his own and cascaded through his arm. Blowing him into a spin where he crashed into the earth. Light crackled along his right arm as his lefts clutched it in pain. Gritting his teeth the mutant looked up at Dernust, listening to the dismissal! How dare he dismiss the great and mighty Nazaam!?
  371.
  372. With a growl the Mutant's left hands glowed purple and he let loose another roar. Twin balls of occultism rushed towards Dernusts back in a sneaky assault! Yet, they were weak and powered by a straining Mutant. A mutant who'd already faded into the shadows after his act of spite!
  373.
  374. (Nazaam Thrax)
  375. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  376.
  377. [19:27] The Beast did not respond to the Magi. They were not skilled with using Magic, apparently not being one in his old life, thus the wiked nature of the Occult on their body remained there for a time. Which was not something that did trouble the Dullahan, in fact it kept fighting until being thrown away by the winds of the Achyonite.
  378.
  379. Seemingly this one was much more powerful than the one he fought latter, if not the many injuries from repeated battles were making it difficult to fight. A shattered elbow and now the wounds from his present fight against Konrad. That made Klaus's work much easier to bring the Dullahan down. Yet that would surely not be enough to bring him back to the world of Dead, where he should be.
  380.
  381. The Shadows engulfed him, and after being defeated the Dullahan dug in the shadows and camouflated in them, escaping from the scene, it would not be today that the dangers of Esshar would end these adventurer's stories. But walking in dark caves might not be as much of a pleasing experience as it was before this encounter.
  382.
  383. ...
  384.
  385. The same goes for the Monster. Which feeds it's hate more and more each passing day.
  386. (Healess)
  387. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  388.
  389. [19:31] Nazaam Thrax bought Agility X (x10) for 2000c from Horacio!
  390. [19:35] Nazaam Thrax says, "I have struck fear into the Cogs! Also, hi-hi wolfie, Karstaag."
  391. [19:35] Karstaag says, "Karstaag smash many tinies. Many fear Karstaag."
  392. [19:36] Kalia says, "...I should leave fuckin' Achyon then."
  393. [19:36] Nazaam Thrax says, "Battled many black hats! Sent some to their curtain call. Lost to other."
  394. [19:37] Nazaam Thrax asks, "Wolfie part of cogs?"
  395. [19:37] Karstaag says, "Black dress angry. Some weak. Fall to Karstaag."
  396. [19:37] Kalia says, "I said I joined it 'ta fight Osrona."
  397. [19:37] Kalia shrugs.
  398. (Kalia)
  399. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  400.
  401. [19:37] Nazaam Thrax says, "Karstaag big as mountain. Make's sense."
  402. [19:38] Kalia says, "...I tried'ta dig a fuckin' hill with a sword."
  403. [19:38] Nazaam Thrax says, "Osrona? Ah, the homeland of my people. What a decadent disgrace of what it was."
  404. [19:38] Kalia says, "Ain't work."
  405. [19:38] Karstaag pounded his chest.
  406. (Karstaag)
  407. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  408.
  409. [19:38] Karstaag says, "Strong Ogre."
  410. [19:38] Kalia waves at Jaste.
  411. (Kalia)
  412. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  413.
  414. [19:38] Jaste waves.
  415. (Jaste Donarm)
  416. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  417.
  418. [19:38] Karstaag didn't know why the little people flailed their arms.
  419. (Karstaag)
  420. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  421.
  422. [19:38] Nazaam Thrax says, "Now, I shall fight you once more Karstaag. I've still two good arms."
  423. [19:38] Kalia says, "I got one good leg, mate."
  424. [19:39] Nazaam Thrax says, "Wolfie does limp funny."
  425. [19:39] Karstaag says, "Come. Fall over. All do."
  426. [19:39] Nazaam Thrax says, "None do with the pinache of I."
  427. [19:43]
  428. {LOAD GAME}
  429.
  430. [19:46] {Lost Restrained RPB against Karstaag}
  431. [19:49] {Lost Restrained RPB against Karstaag}
  432. [19:52] {Lost Restrained RPB against Karstaag}
  433. [19:52] Nazaam Thrax says, "Nazaaaam did fall."
  434. [19:53] Karstaag says, "Did good. Karstaag stronger."
  435. [19:53] Nazaam Thrax says, "Missed it Judge, battled many of the Blackhats. Batted one aside but reinforcements pushed me back."
  436. [19:54] Nazaam Thrax says, "Yes, very strong! In time Nazaam will win. Purging of weakness has been going well."
  437. [19:54] Judge says, "Mm.."
  438. [19:54] Judge says, "Yes."
  439. [19:54] Karstaag says, "No win. Karstaag win. Tiny fall. Always fall."
  440. [19:56] Nazaam smirked as he crossed his arms. He would win in time all it required was to keep pushing himself. With a shift his lower left arm tossed a back of ores to Judge.
  441. (Nazaam Thrax)
  442. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  443.
  444. [19:56] Nazaam Thrax says, "More iron for the forges."
  445. [19:56] {Item} You drop Iron x6.
  446. [19:56] Judge says, "Excellent....my craft sharpens by the moment. I will return in a few minutes."
  447. [20:01] Nazaam Thrax exclaims, "The next I venture forth I will have to seek you out to join me Karstaag. Would help with their numbers!"
  448. [20:01] Karstaag says, "Find Karstaag when need. Throw rock. Smash bad."
  449. [20:03] Nazaam Thrax says, "It is the way."
  450. [20:04] Nazaam Thrax asks, "You staying here?"
  451. [20:04] Karstaag says, "Will walk."
  452. [20:06] Eyes around the place.
  453.
  454. "Hmmm."
  455.
  456. Seems everyone had this.
  457. (Slytherin)
  458. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  459.
  460. [20:06] He didn't exactly like how Ka-Tula phrased that but shook his head none the less. The entire situation was exactly as messy as expected, and the various bits of sensationalized news from every source except the one person who could have told him everything, but refused certainly didn't help. This was still a preferable alternative to what he had been led to believe from all the student testimonies.
  461.
  462.
  463.
  464. Killian shoots a thumbs up to Asia that hopefully only she can see.
  465.
  466.
  467. "I can only act on the information I was given Ka-Tula. If you want to lay the blame on me that's fine, I'll eat that. I'm just glad to know we talked it out and it wasn't as bad as I was led to believe."
  468. (Killian Levieur)
  469. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  470.
  471. [20:08] Ethric removes a small, simple athame from his belt, proffering it to Killian.
  472. (Ethric Athelier)
  473. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  474.
  475. [20:08] Ethric Athelier says, "A drop, I believe."
  476. [20:08] Killian Levieur says, "The issue with Howl will be resolved, but my main concern was that something systematic was occurring and it seems that there isn't. Breaking Howl's curse is one thing, but my issue is I was led to believe this would be a pattern."
  477. [20:08] Killian Levieur says, "And before you say anything, you aren't the sole reason I was led to believe that Ka-Tula."
  478. [20:09] Killian takes the athame in hand, and without much hesitation brings it to his hand before pausing. "Wait so do I just...cut myself or do I have to say something special or...?"
  479.
  480. (Killian Levieur)
  481. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  482.
  483. [20:10] Ethric Athelier says, "Just prick your pinky finger. Put the tip to it. Just a drop, Mister Levieur."
  484. [20:10] Ethric Athelier says, "You'll need to do this often in rites with spirits, in any event."
  485. [20:11] Nill's gaze moved expectantly after Ethric's speech towards Ka-Tula. A vial produced from amongst the many numerous layers of his clothes. Clean and crisp. "Just a simple drop of blood, if you will." He'd say, walking over, holding it towards them.
  486.
  487. Despite all the further noise. He had little else to say in particular.
  488. (Nill)
  489. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  490.
  491. [20:11] "Got it." He does so, taking the tip and lightly pressing it to his little finger. A single drop of blood falls from the tip. "True enough, I just wasn't familiar with how the tithe for the Mire worked. First time I've actually set foot inside."
  492. (Killian Levieur)
  493. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  494.
  495. [20:12] Nazaam tilted his head as he kept observing what seemed a civil discourse between the Mire and a band of humans. How peculiar though not all that surprising! The wretch leaned back against a tree beady specks of emerald gazing towards the events unfolding. Violence was always possible and the blackhats had only just got his blood pumping.
  496. (Nazaam Thrax)
  497. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  498.
  499. [20:12] The talks seemed to be calming down and pointing towards conclusion, this put the Ogre's mind at ease attempting to follow each bit of information being thrown around was exceedingly rough as he'd much rather be spending his time doing something else. Boar like noises continued to sound through the course as he muttered to himself. Nothing audible nothing of true importance however those with sensitive ears would probably more so hear complaints about what's going on, after all based of previous encounters with groups of similar size a fight normally broke out. Which in all reality was the reason the Ogre was asked to come along.
  500.
  501. However since it didn't seem to be pointing in that direction it didn't really bug him that much after all it was just saved energy in the end, yet wouldn't contest to such yet. With the noises settling down he wouldn't let hopes down just yet as the matter of the toll was still at hand, refusal of such surely meant some action would follow right?
  502.
  503. So he stood at the ready incase it was needed.
  504. (Tor'Nok)
  505. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  506.
  507. [20:12] Ka-Tula fetched forward a small knife she'd kept to harvest reed, and pricked the back of her hand, dripping the contents into the held out vial. After that, she'd turn to leave without anyting else to say.
  508. (Ka-Tula)
  509. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  510.
  511. [20:12] Aaron nods, He did not want to give his blood, but what option does he have? if the Headmaster was okay with this, he would just do it.
  512.
  513. He conjures a small but sharp ice needle, and pricks his index finger with it, small blood, he freezes it, in some sort of ice vial.
  514.
  515. And tossed it gently to Nill. "here, I think this will do."
  516. (Aaron Exarion)
  517. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  518.
  519. [20:13] Nill says, "Appreciated."
  520. [20:13] Orchid watched as all the visitors pricked themselves with sharp devices. It was good to be a blood magi.
  521. (Orchid Ebonwood)
  522. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  523.
  524. [20:15] Jericho had kept silent, still... Seemingly locked once again in that deadset heavy focus. Yet when the blood toll came up... He stirred. "Uh..." Luckily it hadn't come to hm being needed.
  525.
  526. And he'd prick his finger briefly, before contributing his own drop as well, and passing it over.
  527. (Jericho)
  528. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  529.
  530. [20:17] Nill says, "Now then. Ethric."
  531. [20:17] Nill asks, "In a previous meeting, you had mentionned books on controlling the occult? Or the madness most have associated it with?"
  532. [20:18] Nill says, "I know of one who would desire those. For a future time."
  533. [20:18] Asia Amara says, "Why so whispery? "
  534. [20:18] Ethric Athelier says, "I would say I have worked directly with individuals."
  535. [20:18] Killian Levieur says, "We're talking about the students."
  536. [20:18] Nill says, "Not of your academy."
  537. [20:18] Ethric Athelier says, "I am willing to work with any individual."
  538. [20:19] Nill says, "I doubt you have, to put it lightly..."
  539. [20:19] Killian Levieur says, "Stuff you likely don't care about and how the rumor mill is partially responsible for getting everyone so riled up."
  540. [20:19] Ethric Athelier asks, "... Mister Nill. A simple inquiry. Do you know what a pact ring is?"
  541. [20:19] Nill says, "No, I am unfamiliar. Although the name provides plenty enough an idea."
  542. [20:19] Ethric Athelier says, "It is a physical anchor demons utilize in order to establish a bond with a human, granting them occult mastery through direct influence, control, and synchronization."
  543. [20:20] Ethric Athelier says, "Mister Nill. I am very old."
  544. [20:20] Ethric Athelier says, "I have worked with many individuals."
  545. [20:20] Ethric Athelier says, "I am quite aware of the occult, and it's methods of expansion."
  546. [20:20] Ethric Athelier says, "However."
  547. [20:21] Nill says, "Then I should be more forthright..."
  548. [20:21] Nill says, "I am curious."
  549. [20:21] Nill says, "And wanted to see the books myself."
  550. [20:21] Ethric Athelier says, "I believe I mentioned studying them, but I work directly with said knowledge myself."
  551. [20:21] Ethric Athelier says, "I do not need a book, when I am an encyclopedia."
  552. [20:21] Ethric Athelier says, "The most important issue with control, however, without resorting to enslavement by an occultic being-"
  553. [20:22] Ethric Athelier says, "Is it requires accepting certain facts most occultists find unpleasant, or mental sabotage."
  554. [20:23] Nill says, "I can see what you are saying."
  555. [20:24] Ethric Athelier says, "Mental sabotage being methods by which you physically or spiritually sever the portions of yourself that permit it to hold power over you."
  556. [20:24] Ethric Athelier says, "Mind you, the question of the quality of life after is usually "Not"."
  557. [20:25] Killian is receiving and interesting impromptu lesson on the Occult from Ethric, a few details he was not aware of. He doesn't interrupt the proceedings, not wanting to sour any more relations with the Mire after having barged in like they did.
  558. (Killian Levieur)
  559. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  560.
  561. [20:25] Ethric Athelier says, "There is a reason those of Sheng practical rigorous control, discipline, and similar methods of education to those found to have occultism."
  562. [20:25] Ethric Athelier says, "It is one of the most positive parts of their philosophy and national function."
  563. [20:26] Ethric Athelier says, "If you ask for Mister Donarm- I told him what he needed to accept, if he wished to resist it."
  564. [20:26] Ethric Athelier asks, "Did he mention such a business?"
  565. [20:26] * You have been awarded 3 Roleplay Points! *
  566. [20:26] Nazaam listened to the lesson on Occultism but really it was all just so... Intense. Why would they go through so much effort to control their occultism? Was there perhaps a benefit in doing so... The mutant's hand rose to scratch his chin; idly considering this possibility.
  567. (Nazaam Thrax)
  568. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  569.
  570. [20:26] Nill says, "No, and it was not of him."
  571. [20:26] Ethric Athelier says, "Interesting."
  572. [20:26] Ethric Athelier says, "Nonetheless-"
  573. [20:27] Orchid was particularly interested on the Occult topic, but she wouldn't say as such. She merely kept watching...And listening.
  574. (Orchid Ebonwood)
  575. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  576.
  577. [20:27] Ethric Athelier says, "If you wish for me to work with an individual, of course- I am willing to do so."
  578. [20:28] Nill says, "I will bring it up with them, but. I doubt they will sever their connection with the magic."
  579. [20:28] Killian perks up at the mentioning of Jaste, knowing a few things about that particular situation. If it wasn't Ethric who helped him out, if he was actually helped, he wondered who.
  580. (Killian Levieur)
  581. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  582.
  583. [20:28] Ethric Athelier says, "However, I believe there is a core tenet of your faith as well as much in the existence of the Shadowmire that might make some resistant to the understanding of the occult necessary to overpower it."
  584. [20:28] Ethric Athelier says, "I do not ask that."
  585. [20:28] Aaron stay there, just listening.
  586. (Aaron Exarion)
  587. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  588.
  589. [20:29] Ethric Athelier says, "... But, to control it, you must look at what it means, and what it's expression truly means."
  590. [20:30] Nill says, "Then... The reason I ask it is more keen to another aspect."
  591. [20:30] Nill says, "Than... The one I believe you are talking of."
  592. [20:32] Ethric Athelier says, "Ask."
  593. [20:32] Ethric Athelier says, "I will explain."
  594. [20:33] Nill asks, "You are talking of Xian's aspect, correct?"
  595. [20:33] Ethric Athelier says, "Hm."
  596. [20:33] Ethric Athelier says, "No. Not quite."
  597. [20:33] Ethric Athelier says, "I speak more-"
  598. [20:33] Ethric Athelier says, "Of what you believe the Occult IS."
  599. [20:34] Nill says, "Ah-"
  600. [20:34] Nill asks, "You believe it is tied to our faith?"
  601. [20:35] Nill says, "That much is incorrect, merely a piece of our land."
  602. [20:35] Ethric Athelier says, "... No."
  603. [20:35] Ethric Athelier says, "No, no."
  604. [20:35] Ethric Athelier says, "You are correct."
  605. [20:35] Ethric Athelier asks, "Do you know WHY it controls so much of your land?"
  606. [20:36] Nill says, "I would be interested to hear why you believe so."
  607. [20:36] Ethric Athelier says, "I know so. I have encountered many blight lands like this. I have seen similar situations."
  608. [20:36] Ethric Athelier says, "I have done my research."
  609. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "Occult magic- Much like it's reflection. Is not like other magics. Other magics are forces of fundamental forces of the world, and of nature in ways we can draw from."
  610. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "... Holy and occult magic is tied unto the gift of sapience, of humanity, of the touch of angels and their dark reflection."
  611. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "It is a fundamental embodiment of human pettiness."
  612. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "Human vanity."
  613. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "Human wrath."
  614. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "Human misery."
  615. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "This place- Was once an enchanted grove. Such things, that birth those like fae and ents-"
  616. [20:37] Orchid feels attacked.
  617. (Orchid Ebonwood)
  618. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  619.
  620. [20:37] Scratched at his chest as conversing continued, topics shifting now making it a bit less taxing on his own attention spans though not much. His optics rested upon those gathered shifting between them in wonder of what kind of magics or power they posses.
  621. (Tor'Nok)
  622. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  623.
  624. [20:37] Ethric Athelier says, "Are areas where the Spirit Realm has a major convergence."
  625. [20:38] Ethric Athelier says, "When mana is used, ejected into the world, generated by those in the beyond- It flushes back into the material through sites such as this."
  626. [20:38] Ethric Athelier says, "... This realm is polluted. It is not the fault of those inhabiting it. It is why nethradin come through- The spiritual malaise is one of the flow of the lifestream through this region."
  627. [20:38] Ethric Athelier says, "Pieces of debris, tangling like a dam."
  628. [20:39] Ethric Athelier says, "Those who gather here are sheltered by magic, and choked and drowning on the poison emitted from all humans within Esshar."
  629. [20:39] Ethric Athelier says, "Their emissions, slowly gathering, their uses of rift magic, of depraved arts, of massacres and madness."
  630. [20:39] Ethric Athelier says, "It does not make any of you less a people. It does not invalidate your existence."
  631. [20:40] Ethric Athelier says, "But, they fill your lungs, and your land, with smog."
  632. [20:40] Ethric Athelier says, "You are infused and able to weaponize it- But, that is what it is."
  633. [20:40] Ethric Athelier says, "Human pollution. The vector of a thousand individuals you have never met, trying to warp you and use you both as a scapegoat and a vector for their worst day."
  634. [20:41] Ethric Athelier says, "I have seen the inside. The places where the mana breaks through cleanly."
  635. [20:42] Ethric Athelier says, "This entire realm should be like that."
  636. [20:42] Nazaam frowned as he listened... This was certainly... Something to contemplate as he moved forwards. Perhaps, the grand play of the Mire wouldn't be one of horror but tragedy?
  637. (Nazaam Thrax)
  638. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  639.
  640. [20:42] Ethric Athelier says, "... To burden you all with misery would not help the Mire. I do wish for this place to not suffer. The truest way for this place to be restored- Is for the positive emotions to win over the souls of those closest and inhabiting it."
  641. [20:42] Ethric Athelier says, "The ecology of this place, however, attracts many who cannot exist elsewhere."
  642. [20:42] Ethric Athelier says, "Burdened. Maimed. Rejected."
  643. [20:43] Ethric Athelier says, "And some, who have been ousted by society for completely legitimate reasons, seeking to learn powers of human entropy and shortsighted success."
  644. [20:43] Ethric Athelier says, "... That is the uncomfortable truth about occultism, if you wish to control it. It is easier for those born or inflicted with it unwillingly, than ANY who have sought it out."
  645. [20:44] Ethric Athelier says, "It takes realizing that those voices should not be yours. That you are not made to be their tool or vessel. And to reject the thoughts it brings that fuel it so ardently, in exchange for self discipline, positive thought, and comprehension."
  646. [20:45] Ethric Athelier says, "... You must be weaker, to grow stronger in the end."
  647. [20:45] Nill says, "I see... I will strive then to develop those means myself, at least for those interested in my aspect."
  648. [20:46] Ethric Athelier says, "... That is why you should look at Nyx. I do not begrudge her the darkness, the shadows, and the quiet contemplation or protection you have all started to forge in legitimacy here."
  649. [20:47] Ethric Athelier says, "... But, the occult is a poison. Any poison can be a medicine in the right quantities- But it is the pollution the world that has treated you unkindly has made."
  650. [20:47] Ethric Athelier says, "Precisely THROUGH those acts of disgust, malice, and despair."
  651. [20:47] Nill says, "What you say only tells me I must redouble my own efforts then."
  652. [20:48] Ethric Athelier says, "... Your patron spirit, if she is of this place, might need your help."
  653. [20:48] Ethric Athelier says, "I believe in you, Mister Nill. If you ever require aid- Patience. Assistance, Advice- Or physical assistance with rituals meant to assist in centering."
  654. [20:48] Ethric Athelier says, "I am more than willing to aid."
  655. [20:48] Nill says, "They are to put it lightly, somewhat the basis of my aspect."
  656. [20:48] Ethric Athelier says, "Quite."
  657. [20:48] Ethric Athelier says, "... A sapient heart is always possessed of a balance between shortsighted catharsis and longterm discipline."
  658. [20:48] Ethric Athelier says, "It is about finding that happy medium."
  659. [20:49] Nill says, "Perhaps then, I'd be interested with that aid at a later time."
  660. [20:50] Nill says, "I assume your academy needs you for the time being."
  661. [20:50] Ethric gives a glance- Slitted eyes rest momentarily on Orchid, and beyond over towards Nazaam.
  662. (Ethric Athelier)
  663. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  664.
  665. [20:50] Ethric Athelier says, "I should probably investigate whom else does. Perhaps on the morrow- Though. I do not mind any inquiries."
  666. [20:51] Nill says, "I do appreciate your efforts."
  667. [20:51] Aaron Exarion says, "Hmm..."
  668. [20:51] Nill says, "Although, I must make a request. Further large groups of students coming in..."
  669. [20:51] Ethric Athelier says, "Ah."
  670. [20:51] Ethric Athelier says, "Apologies."
  671. [20:51] Ethric Athelier says, "That is why I waited here."
  672. [20:51] Ethric Athelier says, "I wished to send someone personally to see you, and meet without the depths."
  673. [20:51] Nill says, "It's been occuring more and more lately. We are fine with a curious soul or two."
  674. [20:52] Ethric Athelier says, "Hahn."
  675. [20:52] Ethric Athelier says, "Yes, I heard that is what lead to Mister Grace's capture."
  676. [20:52] Ethric Athelier says, "It was renumerated, I believe."
  677. [20:52] Nill says, "But large crowds are far too... Difficult."
  678. [20:52] Aaron Exarion says, "Thank you, for the help, Mr. Nill, I should take care of those that are coming here."
  679. [20:52] Ethric Athelier asks, "Yes, my apologies. Do you require anything I can do to stem it?"
  680. [20:52] Nill says, "I merely offer a warning."
  681. [20:52] Ethric Athelier says, "I do tell them not to go, but they get very excited."
  682. [20:53] Nill says, "Future large crowds coming will likely not come out in one piece, unless invited."
  683. [20:53] Nazaam gazed back with slitted hues of emerald from under a deep hood. There was a lot going on and the young Mutant's silence stayed steady. Though, there was something... Interesting about the offers of assistance. It was not what he thought was going to happen when he arrived.
  684. (Nazaam Thrax)
  685. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  686.
  687. [20:53] Nill says, "If I know the other denizens of the place."
  688. [20:53] Nill says, "They are agitated especially with the recent events."
  689. [20:54] Killian wasn't exactly lost, but there was still a lot of information to take in from this. So much about how places like the Mire are formed, and a bit more about the orgins of Holy and Occult. All very interesting subjects to one like him.
  690.
  691.
  692. "Yes...I would also like to personally apologize for a bit of that. The students who have been barging in here a lot all have...varying takes of the events that occur here. I was led to believe the situation was more dire than it was, but I wasn't about to come stomping in here and making a ruckus. Some of those students insisted on accompanying us, one in particular, because they didn't trust we would take care of it."
  693.
  694.
  695.
  696. He nods his head at Nill. "I appreciate your patience with this, and from what I've heard one or two of them in particular have been making a lot of trouble...which I'd also like to put a stop to if I can help it."
  697. (Killian Levieur)
  698. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  699.
  700. [20:55] Orchid returned a brief glance towards Ethric. It was very clear that she was unlike the other residents of the Mire - human.
  701.
  702. Her eyes darted away from Ethric before she rasped out, "Kids...So..Mean." She was merely a visitor, and the number of intrusive children coming here was disturbing even her. It seemed they only sought conflict.
  703. (Orchid Ebonwood)
  704. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  705.
  706. [20:55] Nill asks, "Might I ask which you're talking about?"
  707. [20:55] Nill says, "If I know them at least."
  708. [20:56] Killian Levieur says, "Ah, Tia Dorcha. I was told she was making a lot of bad faith deals and interactions with some of the Mire denizens."
  709. [20:56] Nill says, "Oh? I am unaware of these."
  710. [20:56] Ethric Athelier says, "Mm."
  711. [20:56] Nill says, "Far as I've seen, she is merely offerring trade."
  712. [20:56] Nill says, "Potions and the like."
  713. [20:57] Killian Levieur says, "Simply another thing I have heard, not personally verified, but something I at least partially believe."
  714. [20:57] Ethric Athelier says, "I have mostly known of Mister Grace toddling after Mister Ignacio."
  715. [20:57] Ethric Athelier says, "And getting into trouble."
  716. [20:57] Ethric Athelier says, "Which made more humans bumble in after them."
  717. [20:57] Nazaam with a shift of his weight the Mutant ventured off; back into the depths of the Mire.
  718. (Nazaam Thrax)
