Since the day I got my first computer, instead of playing games like my friends, I started to learn about them, and shortly after I was fixing all the computers in my neighborhood because it was my passion. I love making new discoveries, learning about technology and I believe that these two things go hand in hand because discovery and innovation lead to new technologies. My goal is to learn as much as I can about this subject and so far my knowledge has mostly come from self-teaching

    In high-school I got into few IT contests, after which my interest into computing grew even more. Later, in December, 2010, I got picked out for the "Leonardo da Vinci" project to work in the United Kingdom as a practitioner fixing computers. When I got back on February, 2011, I got a job as a practitioner in "Kaunas Radio and Television center" which will help me continue exploring computers.

    In my spare time I spend lots of time reading news articles, tech magazines and all kinds of books that I find interesting while listening to all kinds music, in particular I love Jazz and Blues. Apart from that I have an interest in martial arts, such as Aikido. I enjoy going to the gym, traveling around the city, and exploring new locations. I am also a scale-modeler, building old machines like tanks, planes, ships etc. This shows my personality to be ambitious, enthusiastic and responsible.

    From higher learning I hope to push myself to the limit of discovery and learning things that I don't yet know, to learn from others and share my experience. Studying abroad seems like a great opportunity not only for the reasons already listed but also to learn to live on my own, see the world, learn about other cultures and to see how colleges and universities in other countries enrich their students with knowledge.
