1) Above all else: Be reasonable.  Most of my rules revolve around that word, so anything not explicitly covered by the rules can be extrapolated from "is it reasonable?"

2) Do not post nudes in the Share-Art channel.  Pictures may go as far as clothed provocatives, such as bras and swimsuits, but again, be reasonable.  Do not press your luck with this rule; deliberate attempts to see what you can get away with can result in reprimand and punishment.

3) Blatant bitching, moaning, complaining, and arguments WILL be taken to the Thunderdome (or simply stop), period.  If you insist on arguing in any other channel, you will be appropriately punished.

4) The Debate channel is specifically for debating or discussing controversial topics, in a CIVIL manner.  You will have an open mind as any debater should.  If you simply close yourself off with "I'm right, you're wrong, period," and refuse to accept the possibility that others may be right (unless you have PROVEN that you are FACTUALLY correct, as fact is not opinion), you don't belong in Debate.

5) Share-Art is for sharing nice artwork you've found.  Share-Creative is for sharing things you made.  Do not confuse the two.

6) You may spam memes and other hilarity in Random-Stupidity.  Yes that is a designated place.  You're lucky I tolerate it at all - I just don't want a bunch of meaningless meme and "lol random funny joke" posts clogging up the main channels when people are likely trying to have a coherent conversation, and if I don't give it SOMEWHERE to go, it WILL inevitably end up somewhere I don't want it.  #MemeResponsibly

7) Any general discussion can start in the Lounge.  That's what it's for.  If things drift in a channel-ward direction, you may be asked to move it, or it may be allowed to continue, depending on the Lounge's interest in the subject at the time.  However, if you know that a conversation you want to start should belong in a specific channel, please start the conversation in that channel.  (Note: Memes which APPLY to the current conversation can be posted in the appropriate channel, but keep them IN CHECK.  Do not spam 7 of them as part of one reaction.)

8) In general, do not be the cause of an argument or other dispute.  Do not CONTRIBUTE to any disputes that manage to get off the ground; others starting it does not give you the right to retort or continue things.  People won't like you, and I'll have to put my foot down on your head.  If you see people arguing outside the Thunderdome, tell them to take it there or stop.  If they will do neither, a moderator may kick or ban any involved parties at their discretion, depending on the nature of the dispute and the parties' level of participation in such.

9) Mods are to remember that the mod log exists.  If you kick or ban someone, I will see it.  Do not abuse your powers, or I will demote you.  Do not utilize your powers against anyone who has not disobeyed a rule.

10) Even in #Random-Stupidity, no racial or mental illness slurs; not of your own device, and not in videos or pictures you post.  I don't find those things funny, nor do many other people.  Yes I know some people find those things funny.  Yes I know some jokes are worse than others.  But for the sake of drawing a line as to what is "too far," that's where this server draws it; I can't just go "oh, we'll decide on a case-by-case basis" - every post would be in question if I did that.  So yeah, no doing that at all.  Such posts will be deleted by a moderator, and if necessary, you will be kicked/banned if you show insistence in posting such content.

11) You shall not, at any time, in any channel, tell anyone to kill themselves.  On ANY offense this is at LEAST a kick.  If you continue breaking this rule you will be banned.

12) You shall not, at any time, in any channel, post gore or any other grotesque depictions.  This is an immediate ban without exception.

13) The NSFW-Lewd channel is very carefully governed by its own set of rules, found in its channel description (so people don't have to stare at what those rules are on this paste).  You must be age of consent to request the Lewd role to get into the channel, and must personally request the role from me.

14) If a spam attack occurs, do not hesitate to ping the moderators to handle it.  I will personally assist in handling the matter if I am available (awake and not streaming, basically), but we have a mod team for a reason.
