  16. Magical Effects:
  17. Divine Touch: Gains 1 Power Point to restore 2d6 +2 points of Resolve to "Evangeline" or another single target. Can only be used 4 times per scene. Resolve can be increased to a surplus of the unit's maximum.
  18. Rozen Shield: Spends 1 Power Point to add +7 to "Evangeline"s defensive attribute or that of another unit against any single attack. Effects do not stack.
  19. Rejuvenation: At the start of each turn "Evangeline" takes she regains 3 points of Resolve, to a maximum of 195.
  20.
  21. Special Abilities:
  22. Binding Attack: "Evangeline" can deliver an attack that holds targets in place by spending 2 Power Points. If it hits, the target must remain in one place, use its lowest attribute for defense, and cannot attack until it performs a maneuver action (difficulty 15) to get free.
  23. Block: "Evangeline" can bring some kind of barrier or other defense to bear to protect herself from attacks. It can reduce the damage from a single attack by 4 per Power Point she spends.
  24. Burst Attack: "Evangeline" is adept at attacking multiple targets at once. She can make normal attacks against up to 3 targets simultaneously by spending 1 Power Point, or against every target in the immediate area by spending 3 Power Points.
  25. Debilitating Attack: "Evangeline" can spend 1 Power Point to make an attack make the target weaker for a time. If it hits, the target rolls one fewer dice for all challenges until the end of its next turn.
  26. Double Action: "Evangeline" can spend 1 Power Point to take an additional action on her turn.
  27. Special Clash: When attacked, "Evangeline" can spend 1 Power Point to Clash without using up her turn and regardless of whether or not she’s already acted this round.
  28.
  29. Finishing Moves:
  30. Tocco del Mar (Piercing Attack) (Cost: 2 PP) - "Evangeline" can interact directly with a Magical Girl's Soul Gem by physically removing it from her target's body without harming them.
  31. - Attacks targetting a Soul Gem cannot be evaded, blocked, contested, or have their damage reduced.
  32.
  33. Nightmare: Bara no Sekai (Barrier) (Cost: 10 PP) - The Witch's Barrier, which Evangeline first manifested with her power. The spatial manifestation of tranquility. A vast expanse of roses in a perpetual midnight field, with a single, elegant gazebo set with tea for two. The powerful aroma of roses in the air will lull people into a calm, drowsy state.
  34. - Barrier has no external size. It can be accessed only by Evangeline and those she permits to enter or brings with her.
  35. - While inside the Nightmare, all characters other than Evangeline make a Heart-based challenge of 21 or suffer a -3 to all rolls due to fatigue from the scent.
  36. - The nightmare cannot be escaped by running. If Eva doesn't allow her visitor to leave, they can take 50% Soul Gem purity degradation to leave immediately if they are a Magical Girl.
  37. - While inside the Nightmare, Rejuvenation's effect is raised to 5 Resolve per turn.
  38.
  39. Blackening (Aura) (Cost: 5 PP) - The Witch's power to corrupt, which Evangeline uses to destroy the wills of all who dare oppose her from their very souls. The crushing weight of all the despair accumulated throughout one's entire lifetime, concentrated into a single, overwhelming tide of hopelessness.
  40. - All Magical Girls battling "Evangeline" have their Soul Gem purity reduced to 0%. Soul Gem purity degraded in this manner requires a full Grief Seed to replentish for each girl, and must be dealt with by the end of the scene. Any Magical Girl left with 0% Soul Gem purity at the end of the scene will become a Witch under "Evangeline"s control.
  41.
  42. Nightmare: Gehenna (Barrier) (Cost: 0 PP) - The Witch's Barrier, which Evangeline manifests with her power. The spatial manifestation of desires. A new reality born for the purpose of fulfilling one wish. It appears as something different to each person, and it can appear as something different even to the same person on separate occasions, depending on their desires.
  43. - In the case of a Battle scene, Nightmare: Gehenna will only be used once "Evangeline" has 0 remaining Power Points.
  44. - Barrier is universal in size, although it's not known if it swallows up the real world or exists separately from it.
  45. - The specific nature of the Nightmare will vary depending on the desire it was born to fulfill.
  46. - Escaping the Nightmare can be permitted by Evangeline, but otherwise requires something on the level of a great wish or sacrifice to break free from - although, depending on the purpose of the Nightmare, whether one would want to leave or not is another matter entirely...
