  1. >Day whatever in Equestria
  2. >You're at home on your day off of work and are trying to relax and read the book you've been wanting to get around to reading for a while now.
  3. >Trying being the key word here.
  4. >"Anon, can you make me a sandwich, pleaaaaaase?" Echo begs from behind your book, of which you lower to look at the annoying pony.
  5. "Why can't you do it yourself, Echo? You're old enough to be able to do it."
  6. >She mumbles something and sighs, turning away and walking off into the kitchen.
  7. >You sigh in relief and raise your book back up, and go back to reading...
  8. >...Only to be disturbed by a scream from the kitchen.
  9. >"ANON! HELP ME, QUICK!"
  10. >What is it this time? You wonder.
  11. >With a reluctant sigh you fold the corner of the page you're on and place the book to the side, and wander off into the kitchen.
  12. >When you walk in, you glance at Echo, of which is hiding under the bed.
  13. "What the hell are you doing, Echo?"
  14. >"A-Anon, t-there's a bug on the wall..."
  15. >She points with a hoof to the said bug.
  16. >A bug? Oh, it doesn't sound that ba-
  17. >HOLY SHIT, THAT'S A BUG?
  18. >The bug - A moth - is about the size of your hand and is slowly crawling along the wall.
  19. Echo, get out of the kitchen. We need to make a plan, right now.
  20. >Echo looks up at you and nods, making a mad dash to the living room along with you.
  21. >When the two of you get into the living room you fling the door shut and lock it, for good measure.
  22. >"Anon, what do we do?! That thing is... Massive!"
  23. >Echo stares up at you, her bat-like eyes wide with fear.
  24. >You look down at the ground and start to pace around the room, trying to think of an idea, anything to get rid of that monster on the wall.
  25. >And suddenly, it hits you.
  26. >You look over at Echo, a smile on your face.
  27. "I know what we have to do."
  28. >When she looks at you curiously, you walk over and whisper in your plan into her ear...
  29. >"No way, Anon! I can't do that, it's gonna touch me and stuff, and I don't want that!"
  30. >The displeasure is obvious on Echo's face, but you remain solid about your plan.
  31. "Echo, this is the only way. Either we do this, take the risk and kill it, or we don't do anything at all and we have to live out the rest of our lives in the living room."
  32. >The bat pony looks up at you for a second and then to the ground, probably considering her odds.
  33. >After what seems to be an age she sighs and looks back up at you, with what seems to be a frown across her face.
  34. >"Okay, fine, I'll do it. Just promise me if that I die I have a good funeral."
  35. "I promise, Echo."
  36. >"Well then, let's do this!"
  37. >With a quick nod from you, you move over to the chair you were sat in not twenty minutes ago and take one of the pillows, gripping it as if it were a weapon of sorts.
  38. >With your makeshift weapon in hand you walk over to the door and unlock it, looking over at Echo.
  39. >Reluctantly she walks over and you open the door and let her through into the kitchen first.
  40. >You follow after her, looking around as you walk into the kitchen to see the monster you're looking for.
  41. >It sits on the same wall, sitting there, mocking you, and you hate it!
  42. "Okay Echo, do your stuff."
  43. >Echo nods and slowly walks over to where that thing is.
  44. >You watch as she suddenly leaps up and flails her hooves around and makes weird noises.
  45. >Immediately the moth starts to flap around wildly, making Echo scream out of fear.
  46. >With a roar, you rush in and swing the pillow, smacking it into the wall with an audible thud.
  47. >Echo stops screaming and looks at the pillow, eyes wide.
  48. >"Is... Is it dead?" She asks, and you slowly lower the pillow to reveal...
  49. >The moth is squashed against the wall, it's disgusting blood making a small circle around it.
  50. "THE MONSTER IS DEAD! THE WORLD IS SAFE!"
  51. >Echo cheers, then looks over at the fridge, then to you.
  52. >"Uh, Anon, can you make me that sandwich now that we're in here?"
  53. >God damn it, Echo.
