  1. "Clinton Cash" is now available in comic book form. I thought I'd mention it to lead into two myths about Hillary's loss. One is the meme that she's a warmonger lost her votes. Except almost no one was aware of that one and people vote for domestic politics that affects their lives; unless times are very good so they can vote frivolously. But times are not good for the majority.
  2.
  3. Then there was the Crooked Hillary meme. But the majority thinks most politicians are crooks anyway, and there was plenty of evidence presented that Trump was a crook, also.
  4.
  5. No, people voted the way they did because they were desperate for change since many were drowning. Unfortunately, Hillary offered no change, just more-of-the-same from the establishment candidate. In fact, Wikileaked emails show her campaign was aware of the groundswell for change but felt it could be countered by Fear of Trump. That didn't work. A drowning man will grasp at anything that floats, and shit floats.
  6.
  7. That's one reason for Trump. The other is the Founding Fathers, with "father" being seminal. Although a great plan, the Constitution was written by landowning white men. It is a patrician document that doesn't want the Great Unwashed just voting willy-nilly. That's the reason for the Electoral College, which insanely gives the same number of senators to Maine that it does to California. It gave us Bush and Trump since both lost the popular vote. The Electoral College almost always favors Republicans in a close vote. It's as good as their campaign of voter suppression in that respect.
  8.
  9. So Hillary's loss can be pinned on Hillary and Thomas Jefferson.
  10.
  11. But at least she's in good company.
