Kenzie: Why did you bring a wolf with you?
Connar:  (using a crow bar to open a locked metal door) for Moral and tactical support. (Struggling to open the door) Mai Tuk is the single greatest hunter I have ever met (the doors hinges begin to buckle under the strain.) When you went missing he helped me search the sewers and I have no doubt that he will help us find Blaise and his captors (door bursts open as Connar falls backwards into a wall)
Kate: Are you alright?
Connar: I’m fine
Klaus: (clicking on a flash light) and this is where you lost the signal?
Connar: the chip cut out here
Klaus: I thought you said a QEC can’t be blocked?
Connar: it can’t, they either cut the chip out or short circuited it (looking at his phone.) Given the back ground anima levels I’m picking up, I’m willing to bet it was the latter rather than the former.
Kate: Is everyone ready? We won’t be doing toilet stops.
Kenzie: Ready
Klaus: Ready
Connar: Ready
Kate: Alright, this is the plan; At the end of the first tunnel we should reach a major junction. From there we’ll split up into two groups and search each wing of the network, marking our progress with either a red x or a blue arrow. Red x for dead ends and blue arrows for open tunnels. Kenzie did you bring the spray paint?
Kenzie: I have got it right here (passes out cans of red and blue spray paint.) I also brought locaters, after what happened the last time I followed Connar underground I thought these would be a good idea (Tosses a locator at Connar.)
Connar: Good Idea.
Kate: Once we find Blaise we can start our search for Wakefield and the others. Dr. Bennington wants us to keep an eye out for the gas and anyone who may have helped synthesize it. Klaus, are you sure they didn’t mention anything about where they may have stored it?
Klaus: Nothing, they don’t tell me those kinds of things. Once I agreed to work on the project they would have likely sent me another sample to work with via an intermediary.
Kate: (gives an irritated sigh) Right, we’ll just have to be thorough. Klaus and I will start on the left. Connar, you and Kenzie take the right. Is there anything any one wants to go over before we get started?
Klaus: (raises hand,) Sorry for holding things up but I have to ask, what’s with the duffel bag?
Connar: It’s an insurance policy in case the worst comes to pass
Klaus: What kind of insurance policy?
Connar: the kind that can level 400 city blocks
Klaus: You made a weapon of mass destruction and you didn’t invite me to help! Your lack of manners knows no bounds Dr. Green.
Connar: I didn’t build it from scratch I borrowed it from a cache of council weapons…
Kate: Ladies can we please have this argument another time, there is work to do
Klaus: Fine, I insist on detonating it though should “the worst come to pass”
Connar: Deal (tosses a detonator to Klaus.) Tuk come
Tuk: (trots towards Connar)
Connar: (kneels down and clips an unknown device to the wolf’s collar. Before taking a old arm band from his pocket.) Tuk lock
Tuk: (sniffs the arm band and growls)
Connar: Now sweep
Tuk: (the black wolf vanishes into the tunnels)
Kenzie: Is he going to be ok on his own?
Connar: that is the one and only thing I am certain about right now. Now (clicks on a flash light,) let’s get started

Connar: Just as I thought
Kenzie: what is it?
Connar: the tunnels are rearranging themselves again, see this; it’s the same arrow we made half an hour ago.
Kenzie: (grabbing the hilt of her sword) you saw her fall into the Tokyo portal too right
Connar: I did, but I don’t think this is Liliths doing. However it may be one of her agents, then again we could just be lost. We should check in with Klaus and Kate and see if there having the same problem.
Kenzie: (taking out her phone) one sec I’ll put them on speaker…Klaus? Have you and Kate found anything?
Klaus: Kate got us lost (thud in the back ground), Ouch! And she’s becoming abusive
Kate: We are -not- lost. We just got turned around somewhere.
Kenzie: Do you keep passing your own markers?
Kate: Yes; how did you know?
Connar: (looking at his phone)
Kenzie: I have good news and bad news for you guys. The good news is you’re not lost; the bad news is the tunnels are rearranging themselves. You can’t get back out the way you came but if you keep moving forward eventually the tunnels will take you where ever it is their leading you and hopefully Blaise is there.
Connar: Mind if I see your phone for a second
Kenzie: Careful it’s new
Connar: (tapping at the screen)…I knew it, its unlocked. That’s why you were able to get signal down here, your using a GSM network. Give me a second I think I can find out where Blaise is assuming he still has is phone with him
Kenzie: Don’t break my phone. It was 400 pounds without the contract…
Connar: Don’t worry I won’t hurt it, I am just going to activate a little known feature that comes with all Orochi headsets…annnd got it! It looks like he is just about 1.5km from us (or at least his phone is)
Kenzie: how did you do that?
Connar: I just used a NSA code to unlock network admin privileges for that headset and then set it to look for the relay in Blaise’s phone
Kenzie: So the NSA can track anyone using a smart phone, how long have they been able to do this?
Connar: about 4 years now, if I remember correctly
Kenzie: wow…they have really fallen behind in terms of tech haven’t they.
Connar: They have, last I heard they could still only read someone’s email from a desktop.

Connar: How far out are we?
Kenzie: According to my phone were only a few hundred meters away.
Connar: weren’t we a few hundred meters away about 30 minutes ago?
Kenzie: We were but now the tunnels seem to be letting us get closer, look I can even see the end of the tunnels up ahead.
Connar: Can your phone tell us where we are?
Kenzie: No, it lost the gps signal hours ago
(Kenzie and Connar enter an abandoned subway station filled with steel canisters and a functioning industrial lab, there are no signs of any scientist or other workers. Across the room Kate and Klaus are emerging from a tunnel on the opposite side of the room.)
Connar: Fancy meeting you folks here
Kate: Told you I knew where we were going (punches Klaus in the arm)
Klaus: she’s been doing that to me the entire time we have been down here
Kate: Cast no aspersions, feel no bruises.
Kenzie: Blaise should be over there in one of those body bags, (running her phone over each of the bags) …This one.
(Kate unzips the body bag, inside is Blaise. It appears he has been given another injection.)
Kate: Klaus do you have the antidote?
Klaus: (taking a bottle of medicine and a large syringe from his coat.) Just for the record I am not a medical doctor, I have never done this before, and this is probably going to hurt him….a lot.
Kate: He knew that when he volunteered.
Klaus: (Sighs)(Jams needle into Blaise’s chest while injecting the antidote)
Blaise: aHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! (Blaise sits up in the bag shivering and coughing)
Kate: Woah, woah, calm down. Try to be calm. Friendly faces. Do you recognise us?
Blaise: Kate? Klaus?...Doc?...( coughing)…we got to get out of here now, it’s a (flood lights click on as third Sunday troops surround them) trap.
(Gas canisters begin to hiss as the subway station fills with a yellow gas, no one is able to use their magic)
(a one armed man seems to appear from no ware, braking one of Connars knees with his hammer before running a sword through is throat)
Kenzie: Connar!
Wakefield: (slowly clapping) well done everyone. I was half expecting Blaise would be the only one captured today, but you all pulled through magnificently. Not only do I have Ms. Sterling and my two double agents but the legendary Connar Green on top of it all, the lord commander will be most pleased, Mr. Washington would you kindly join us over on this side of the lab.
Connar: (trying to talk through the blood bubbling out of his throat)
Nicodemus: Impressive work Mr. Wakefield, Lord Worth was apparently wise to trust you with the operation.
Connar: (eyes go wide with fear, while slowly shaking his head)
Nicodemus: And our Hound even managed to stop is inane chattering. It almost makes sharing Lilith with him worth it.
Wakefield: Ms. Michaels, Dr. Von Richter it is with deep sadness that I must inform you that Third Sunday operations has no more need of your services. However Lord Commander Joseph “Nicodemus” Comstock would like to thank you for delivering his old nemesis to his door step.
Kenzie: (pointing a shot gun at Nicodemus) we may not be able to kill you, but from this distance I could he easily buy us all enough time to disappear into the tunnels.
Nicodemus: Come now child who do you think it was that rearranged the tunnels in the first place. You may be able to defeat these guards, you may be able to kill Mr. Wakefield and if you all worked together you may be able to slow me down but you cannot run from me. Now put your weapons down and surrender with what little honor you have.
Connar: ssssss…sssssss…
Kate: (pointing her rifle at Wakefield, she thumbs off the safety) What’s he trying to say?
Kenzie: (thinking…stands up and whistles as loudly as possible)
(Nothing seems to happen)
Wakefield: if you are all done with the theatrics I would like to move this operation to our main base.
Kate: Fuck this. You’re dead, Wakefi-
(Tuk leaps from the shadows and latches on to Nicodemus, knocking him to the ground in the process. he then seems to vanish back into the shadows as Klaus tosses a flash bang out into the center of the lab. Blaise tips over a metal table as the Room erupts into gun fire)
Kate: (Delivering short bursts of fire from cover) Options, people. Give me ideas or be ready to break for the tunnel.
Connar: (taking out a pen and paper from his coat to write something down, before handing it to Kenzie)
Kenzie: (reading the paper) what is saying this going to do?
Connar: (looks annoyed)
Klaus: (switching out a fuel tank on his flame thrower) what are you two planning?
(Klaus sets the lab ablaze)
Kenzie: alright fine, “TUK HOME!”
(Tuk emerges from a portal on the wall before approaching Connar)
Connar: (grabs the device on the wolfs collar and activates it)
(A portal to Agartha opens behind them, as Tuk jumps through the portal Kate, Kenzie, Klaus and Blaise are all pulled in after him)
Connar: (amidst the flames Connar opens the duffel bag and primes the bomb, before manually starting the detonations sequence. He then activates an Agartha conduit hoping one finishes before the other)
Warning low battery
Nicodemus: (opens a breach on the wall behind him.)While this lab may burn and its contents may be lost to us know this, it is but one lab, we have thousands like it Connar. I did not transcend space and time to have my destiny undone by you again. The time I have spent with the grate mother has made me infinitely stronger and harden my resolve to a point that you cannot even begin to fathom. The whispers and the bees agree on but one thing, that this is only the beginning and that all will be decided in Tokyo
