This only makes sense if you think any claims of wrongdoing on the part of your race is wrong. Which would make things awkward for the civil right's movement. Clearly, what matters is how accurate what you say is, which is fundamentally what this is about: avoiding any debate.

It is illegal to discriminate against blacks, and if we are afraid we have our nation convulses over it. This suggests BLM's narrative of an anti-black society is misplaced

It is illegal to NOT discriminate against whites and our society goes into convulsions if they feel whites are doing too well. This suggests our narrative of an anti-white society is not misplaced.

Diversity is about there being fewer whites after all.

Now BLM can point to disparities, but using this as a counter-argument is proof you're a pseudo-intellectual in my opinion because it is fairly well accepted that they are simply looking at disparate outcomes and that there are alternative explanations for why this is the case. We even study one major reason for this: IQ differences
