— Personality: miyoung is a very emotional and sensitive girl. anyone who knows her, knows she is quite a crybaby. it's not like she likes crying or anything, she's just had a bad past. she's also very innocent and naive, so she doesn't know much from right or wrong. miyoung is often very quiet, but the quietest people you gotta watch out for right? she tends to eavesdrop on people around her and she's very good at it too. miyoung gets out of trouble easily with her tears and innocent face since she can cry so simply. but overall, miyoung is a very sweet and caring girl once you break through her walls.
— Background: miyoung is vietnamese-korean and was born in vietnam and lived there for most of her life, with occasional visits to korea to meet with her family.  her mother being vietnamese and her father, korean. she also had an older brother. they moved to korea when she was 13 years old. since she has only officially stayed in korea for 3 years, her korean is not perfect, which is why she is so quiet most of the time. although the language barrier is quite a struggle, she also uses it to her advantage. she often eavesdrops on others conversations (even though she knows it's impolite). miyoung is known to be sort of a crybaby. she is very emotional and sensitive to many topics because when she was younger, she had experienced many traumas including: car accidents, loss of family members and bullying. when she first moved to korea, she didn't know any korean and people at school had made fun of her. words like "go back home" and "you don't belong her" were thrown at her, but can't this be her home too? her middle school years were very challenging, but high school was even worse. the bullying continued, but now not only verbal attacks were used, physicical damage had started. at times, she would have eggs or milk poured over her, sometimes even fish sauce. getting tripped and bruised was almost a daily routine for her. the bullying started getting less frequent as she moved into junior and senior year, but it never really completely stopped until she graduated.

♦ yes, being the killer seems like a new experience and it would  be interesting to have this role.

— If you were the killer, what would be your motives to kill Sunkyung?
♦ since miyoung knew that sunkyung was suicidal, she wanted to end the misery for her. miyoung knows what it feels like to want to end your life and hate yourself so badly to do so. she thought that sungkyung had suffered enough and it was about time that she got the serenity she deserved.

— Where would you dispose of the weapon?
♦ miyoung isn't always the brightest, so she had kept her weapon in "honor" of sungkyungs tranquility. she isn't stupid though, miyoung had hidden it in a place no on will know of. at least that's what she thinks.

— What drove you to kill an innocent girl?
♦ miyoung had felt so much sympathy for sungkyung that she wanted to put her out of her misery forever.

— Do you feel guilty?
♦ miyoung wanted to help sungkyung finally be at peace, so being the naive girl she is, she didn't think of it as murder, she thought of it as a way out for sunkyung. so no, she is not guilty, in fact she feels accomplished for "helping" a friend in need.
