Old 2FM Beginner Menu/Chest Notes

UPDATED 3/9/2016
This is the current route I use, I can't exactly recommend this route to newcomers as its a decent amount harder than previous routes.

These are Menu/Chest notes for KH2FM Beginner Any%.

=====Roxas=====

Menu 1 (Before Hayner)
   -Equip Guard (リフレクトガード) (Roxas)

Menu 2 (Before Shadow Roxas)
   -Equip Medal (Roxas)
   -Go to config, set summon animations to none

=====Twilight Town 1=====

Menu 3 (AUTO After Becoming Sora)
   -Take all of Donald's items
   -Equip Aerial Recovery (エアリカバリー) (Sora)

Grab chest inside Yen Sid's Tower(Ether)

=====Hollow Bastion 1=====

Grab 2 chests (Ap Boost, Drive Recovery) on way to Bailey.

=====Land of Dragons 1=====

Menu 4 (AUTO After Landing in LoD)
  -Switch Donald for Goofy
  -Unequip Guard (リフレクトガード), Equip Combo Boost(コンボアップ) (Sora)
  -Equip another Potion (Sora)
  -Set Ethers to AT(Sora)
  -Take Pings Ether


Grab chest behind you before heading to camp (Ether)

Grab chest in Village Cave (Ap Boost)

Grab chest on way to endless Rapid Thruster fight (Ap Boost)

Menu 5 (After endless Rapid Thruster fight)
   -Set Mulan to Party Attack (4th Option)
   -Use AP boosts (Sora)
   -Equip Guard (リフレクトガード), Slide Dash(スライドダッシュ) and Scan(ライブラ) (Sora)

=====Olympus Coliseum=====

Menu 6 (AUTO Before Hades Escape)
   -Take Auron's Items
   -Unequip Divider(雪月花), Healing Water(いやしの水) and Auto Limit(オートれんけい) (Auron)
   -Unequip Donald Cure(ドナルドケアル) (Donald)
   -Unequip Combo Boost(コンボアップ) and equip EXP Boost(EXPチャンス) (Sora)

Menu 7 (After Hades escape)
    -Equip Hidden Dragon (Optional, lets you die slightly faster to Cerb)

Use any remaining potions and grab 2 chests on way to Cerberus (Ap Boost, Ether)

Grab 2 chests on way to Demyx (Power Boost, Ether)(Skip AP boost we used to grab here)

Grab Chest before Pete (Ap Boost)

Menu 8 (Before Pete)
   -Equip Kingdom Key(Sora) (only if you equipped Hidden Dragon before)
   -Use Power Boost and Ap Boosts (Sora)


During Pete, force Goofy to use all 3 of his potions. Alternately, take them off in a previous menu.

Menu 9 (Before Hydra)
-Unequip Guard (リフレクトガード), EXP Boost(EXPチャンス), Equip Combo Boost(コンボアップ), Trinity Limit(トリニティリミット), Aerial Dive(エリアルダイヴ) (Sora)

=====Hollow Bastion 2=====

Skip Pooh's house AP Boost

Menu 10 (Honestly this menu can be any time before Thresholder)
   -Equip Hero's Crest (Sora)


=====Beast's Castle 1=====

If you fail the Thresholder One Cycle, use the Drive Recovery.

Grab Chest in Dungeon (Ap Boost)

Grab first chest in hallway after mini game (Ap Boost)

Menu 11 (AUTO After Beast)
   -Switch Donald for Goofy
   -Unequip Ferocious Rush(フェロシアスランジ) (Beast)


=====Disney Castle/Timeless River=====
skip courtyard ap boost

Shop
  -Buy 2 Tourmaline Rings (Sell potions/DR if needed)

Menu 12 (after shop)
   -Equip both tourmaline rings (Sora)

Menu 13 (After Car Window)
   -Equip Reaction Boost(リアクションアップ) (Sora).

If you still have the Drive Recovery, use it before entering the Pete fight.

=====Port Royal 1=====

Menu 14 (AUTO When Jack joins your party)
   -Switch Donald for Goofy
   -Set Goofy to Party Attack(4th Option)
   -Set Donald to Sora Attack(5th Option)

Grab chest during 1 minute pirate fight (Synth Item)

Grab 1 chest on way to Barbossa (Ap Boost)(Skip the second one behind the crates)

=====Agrabah 1=====

Menu 15 (AUTO After getting Aladdin)
   -Customize Reflect over Potion
   -Set Aladdin to Sora Attack(5th Option)
   -Take Aladdins Ethers
   -Use AP Boosts (Sora)
   -Equip Guard(リフレクトガード), Aerial Spiral(エアスパイラル) (Sora)

Grab Chest in Bazaar (Ap Boost)

Skip AP Boost in CoW

Grab Chest after falling segment (Ap Boost)

Menu 16 (Before Twin Lords)
   -Equip Aerial Finish(エリアルフィニッシュ), Quick Run(エアスライド) (Sora)
   -Equip Donald Cure(ドナルドケアル) Fantasia (ファンタジア) (Donald)
   -Set Donald to Technic Attack(First Option)


=====Halloween Town=====

Menu 17(AUTO, before square fight)
   -Switch Donald for Goofy
   -Take Jacks Ethers
   -Use Ap Boosts (Sora)
   -Unequip Guard (リフレクトガード),Equip Finishing Leap(フィニッシュライズ) (Sora)

Grab chest in Hinterlands (Ap Boost)

Go to Shop Before Prison Keeper
   -Buy as many Ethers as you can

Skip Santa House AP Boost


=====Hollow Bastion/Space Paranoids=====

Grab 2 chests on way to Space Paranoids (Both Ap Boosts)

Skip Stitch

Menu 18 (AUTO After Light Cycle)
   -Customize Magnet over Fire
   -Take Tron's Ether
   -Unequip Aerial Finish(エリアルフィニッシュ), Slide Dash(スライドダッシュ), Equip Flash Step(フラッシュステップ), Guard (リフレクトガード) (Sora)

Grab chest on way to Hostile Program (Ap boost)

Menu 19 (Before Corridor)
   -Equip Round Break (Sora)

Menu 20 (AUTO Before 1000 Heartless)
   -Equip Goofy Bash(グーフィーブレイド), Jackpot(プライズアップ) (Goofy)
   -Equip Follow the Wind(Sora) (Optional, for safety)

Grab chest before 1000 Heartless(Ap Boost)

Menu 21 (AUTO Before Ballroom Fight)
   -Switch Beast for Donald

Menu 22 (AUTO After getting Rumbling Rose)
   -Switch Beast for Goofy
   -Equip Rumbling Rose on Sora, Hero's Crest on Master
   -Equip Guard Break(ストライドブレイク), (Sora)


=====Port Royal 2=====

Grab big chest in room after Grim Reaper 1 (Peter Pan)

Menu 23 (After Grim Reaper 1)
   -Use Ap Boosts (Sora)
   -Equip Horizontal Slash(エアサイドスラッシュ) (Sora)

Use Ether during medallions


=====Halloween Town 2=====

Menu 24 (AUTO After Landing)
  -Set Jack and Goofy to Sora Attack (5th Option)
  -Equip Draw(ドロー) (Sora)
  -Unequip Fantasia(ファンタジア), Equip Flare Force(フレアフォース) (Donald)


=====Agrabah 2=====

Menu 25 (Before Jafar)
  -Equip Decisive Pumpkin (Sora)


=====Beast's Castle 3=====

Menu 26 (Before Dragoons)
  -Equip Rumbling Rose on Sora, Decisive Pumpkin on Valor


=====Land of Dragons 2=====

Menu 27 (AUTO After Riku)
   -Switch Mulan for Donald

Prep master genie in the forest.

Menu (After Roxas)
   -Customize Ether over Blizzard
   -Set Donald to Sora Attack(5th Option)
   -Equip Two Become One

Go to Shop before Xigbar
   -Sell All Potions
   -Buy as many ethers as possible
   -Trade in Synth Item for Elixir

Menu 28 (Before Xigbar)
   -Equip RR to Sora
   -Equip 5 Ethers 1 Elixir to Sora
   -Unequip Guard (リフレクトガード) Round Break(ラウンドブレイク)Draw(ドロー), Equip Aerial Finish(エ リアルフィニッシュ), Slapshot(スラップショット) and Combo Master(コンボマスター)  (Sora)

Menu 29 (AUTO After Getting Riku)
   -Take Riku's Ethers
