- and sharp dive. COnsidering the fact that the armor already weighed him done, a bit of improvision was employed.
- Not a muscle is moved thereafter, instead, magical energy is seeped into the floor. It flowed with purpose, reaching towards Azor in record time. On the fly, the ground shifted, turning into the characteristically sticky-mud under his feet. The mud acted like 'quick-sand', quickly moving to envelop the bottom of the creature's feet in hope of hindering movement if not outright freezing him all together.
- Khan wasn't paid any attention, but rest assured, Maloth likely would assist in potential combat, inspite of pride compelling him to take the battle on by his lonesome.
- (Maloth)
- Azor was once more undaunted by the assault a destructive force of raw power and magical energies the reanimated dragon hero was a tough opponent. Perhaps too tough as their magics collided once more but raw physical power ontop of it once more availed the dragon. A powerful slash with its claws would bring about a nearly fatal wound on the woman...one which would surely need mroe then just manipulations of time to heal.
- Once more light filled the air as it began rejuvenating the dragon as it closed in on the Priestess looking down at her. Words were heard...it had heard them. It raised its claw up but...faltered. As if something inside of it had stayed its hand for the brief second. Or perhaps...someone? Inwardly the Dragon seemed to sieze up and hold its position before its hand resumed coming down towards the Priestess.
- It gripped the woman and then lifted it up towards its decayed and putrid face. It opened its mouth and expelled decaying air into hers and yet...it said something. Could the woman understand...likely not. Yet Ra who was nearby would be able to make out a few words.
- "Run....find...it...kill....us...me...them...run...."
- The words were raspy, incomplete, as if it took all its strength just to mutter those words. What did it want exactly? They would likely not know as the creature suddenly roared out resuming its previous movements once more. Eyes narrowed in on the defeated Priestess as it lifted its hand up towards its mouth intent on biting her in half and tearing her apart...assuming the others did not attempt to stop it.
- (Azor Qaelchel)
- Maloth whispers something.
- What a resourceful priestess. In thanks to Van's intelligent manuever, the manipulation of time was no longer a hinderance. But by now? She was in a rather compromising condition. With the usage of mana to enhance bodily movement, Maloth blurred forth, his Spear in hand.
- The momentum never ceased, going on to carry him into the air, where Alen was held.
- SWOOSH!
- The Glaive is mercilessly slashed in a horizontal manner, intent on cutting right through the Dragon's talon, if not just partially. He was going to get Van to safety, no matter what the cost. So quite frankly? Maloth cared not in the least of serpent's unfortunate condition.
- Admist the initial swing, his body swelled, over-saturated with a thick gathering of supernatural energy. The increase in mass was not merely for show, oh not. With the change came unreal strength, the likes of which most Valmasians could only dream of imaginng.
- "HNNG! DRAGON NOT MAKE TROUBLE IN ME DESERT! THIS MALOTH DESERT!" he howls in protest, clearly not pleased. It had been -quite- a bit of time since someone how invoked suck anger from the dimwit. If anyone knew him? When in this state, he held a bit of trouble in making rational or sensible decisions, instead being control purely by his primal instincts. And those instincts? They were practically begging for this Undead Wyrm to be slain.
- So thus, even with the intense desire of doing the deed by himself, Maloth rushed, attacking Azor presumbly in unison with Khan.
- (Maloth)
- Ra's eyes opened wide as Azor spoke in the raspy tone in his undead state. He understood only a few parts of what he had just said.
- --"Kill... us... me... them... run..."
- Ra' nodded his head, still a bit surprised by Azor's small speech. He shook the surprise off and put on his much more serious facade. It was time to put Azor out of his misery, and let this mockery of dragon kind end. With a loud roar, body of Azor would, hopefully, begin to heat up intensely from the inside, causing his movement to be restricted and allowing Ra' to land the next hit...
- ... Which was him charging into Azor's underbelly, horns threatning to breach a few chinks in his scaley armor and pierce his hide under it. Following that attack would be an attempt by Ra' to force his horns out of Azor's side and dig his claws into them, this time ripping out some of the rotted flesh from under his scales if possible.
- Ra' had never been more serious or angry about something as defending his kin's pride as he was at this very moment. He was going to rip Azor apart in the most brutal of manners if he was able to.
- (Ra'Fenfir'Khan)
- Azor suddenly halted as something charged at it cutting into its arm. The blade sliced...but miraculously the wounds began to heal up and close together. A perk of the undead Dragon was its unnatural regeneration and toughness. Tossing aside the defeated Priestess for a moment the Dragon turned to face the Cyclops snarling and then roaring loudly at him. Such things...were nto going to be the msot effective at defeating the Dragon.
- Then came Ra'Fenfir'Khan following shortly afterwards. Two more threats had made themselves known...two more threats would need to be laid down low. Magical energies once more filled the air and with the Priestess temporarily put out of commission there would be no rescue from its time magic and holy magic attacks.
- Letting out a roar the Dragon decided to fight both of them at the same time with all that it had. Pressing the attack fiercely, wildly, as if the pain inflicted upon it deterred it not in the slightest. Would it win? Would it be getting a feast today? Who knows but there was only one way to find out and that was for the powerful Dragon to bring them both down...and finish this foolish onslaught once and for all.
- (Azor Qaelchel)
- As he watched the battle go on, the young Godric child grew angry as though he were finally getting out of his shell of fear once more, he wanted to help, despite him being just a young boy he had the spirit to fight for what was right, as his father words whispered to him . Stand up, be strong..Know right from wrong, and for everything else..Find the anser yourself.. the words echo'd in his mind as the sand below the child began to rise softly.
- Around this battle field he had walked into, a song of the stars can be heard, the song of a cosmos by the name of Gilgameshia, but who was she blessing her power upon? Of course it was the youngest Godric within the area, his features even more of that in a star beings appearance but still having his human body in the same physical condition as before, no dramatic change aside his skin and other features glowing, the light , like flames had risen.
- Like high tides under a full moon.
- The fire of the cosmos rises..
- The golden blessing coming about ,this time not going unnoticed, and this time, a memory that will be ,everlasting to the boy. His tiny bodily figure glew like a bright lightbulb, slapping his hands on the ground , using his cosmic energy to channel into the surface of the sand to bring forth the naturic vines , this time, influenced by cosmic energy, they were slightly stronger .
- "The Lifestream of the stars.."
- He made an attempt to send these cosmic influenced vines forth with the attempt to help Van Alen by reistricting the dragons movement IF they were even strong enough to root the dead walker down, this was only an attempt from the childs fury of wishing to help the woman who has been kind to him.
- (Avion Godric)
- Guard: Time to bag and tag this scum!
- *Dnph...*
- I'm sorry my child....
- The landing would be, softer than solid ground, but she couldn't feel it anyway. No, there'd mostly just be the pain. She could feel it, almost like a poison coursing through her viens. Was this how death felt? A bitter toxin that numbs your body to all but the pain that killed you.
- She couldn't..
- Should couldn't open her eyes..
- She hadn't the energy...
- But her will?
- "I can still taste it......"
- She'd mumble, her eye opening for but a moment before her head would turn to see the dragons in the distance. Then, she'd look towards the source of her pain..
- And slowly, ever so slowly, she'd motion her right hand to her abdomen...But it wouldn't work...not much anyway. Van's time reversal, it unfortunatly lacked the strength to reject such an injury. Atleast, she lacked it, and the furthest she could manage would be put a small portion of the car healing,
- Thus, she'd find herself depleted of mana once more, and forced too faint.
- (Priestess Van Alen)
- Adrianna, to her credit, comes in on situations at the best of times. A murder? An assualt? A disater? Behold, there was a priestess! Though this time at the very least it wasn't to far from her home, and no amount of ear plugs or child-aidded distractions could stop a few dragon roars from gettting her attention.
- The poor woman was left huffing, hunched forward with her hands plastered to her thighs. She wasn't really dressed for the 'dry' weather, but she was in a hurry. Right now, though, the medical woman was just trying to figure out what was going on.
- (Adrianna)
- Avion Godric: <*has his vines going to root it's limbs for a reason!!*>
- Just as one would expect. Facing one of the mightiest Dragons in all of Valmasia was no easy feat. And much to his chargin, it would seem that Maloth -DID- in fact require assistance from the fire serpent, Ra'Fenfir'Khan!
- Although, you'd never once find him admitting this. Cladded fully in army, the mammoth of a man continued with the assault after successfully slashing away at the Talon and effectively forcing the Undead Lich to release his hold upon the Priestess of Entropy!
- Strangely enough, the creature utilized not fire, but instead a mixture of Light magic along with Time. T'was an ironic sight considering the means that allowed Azor to still roam this wonderful world we know as Eternia.
- With little relent, the behemoth charged forward, swinging the massive weapon with a single hand, a testiment of both MAloth's strength as well as high degree of skill with the usage of Spears or Glaives. No doubt, while Azor held the significant advantage, the Chieftain of Isthmus was more than capable of holding his own, in fact serving as most of the 'muscle' in this particular bout.
- Most swings of the arm proved to yield fruitful results, seeping deeply into the flesh of the Undead Dragon and inflicting massive damage overall. Even as a Zombie, even as a being that felt no pain. If you ripped apart the body's support, the muscles.. the bone, movement would cease.
- Thus, that's how Maloth planned, timing each swing in strategic locations, namely the joints, no matter how frantic or sporadic the motions seemed to be. It goes to show, even an idiot could possess battle smarts.
- Uncharacteristically, very little Earth-based manuevers are thrown into the mix. Instead, the Cyclops sought to merely use his shield for defensive purposes while continuing on with the offensive, physical assaults.
- Sadly, Azor wasn't one to take the beating sitting down. Exclusively, the Black-skinned Serpent targetted your's truly for combat. Claws, Holy Magic, Time Magic, you name it. All were used in efforts to down-- and they worked.
- At the end of it all, after releasing a slew of his own attacks, Maloth fell, defeated and unable to continue with further combat. There he laid, admist the heated flooring of the Sarad Desert, helpless. Thankfully, Khan, however, cleaned up the mess, taking advantage of Azor's weakened state and defeating the opponent.
- AFter the battle had been won, Maloth wobbled, barely able to stand on two feet by this point. His armor, as it usually did in battles, was totally decimated. Beneath the armor still stood the usual metal-skin technique. Although, the marks of claws persisted. Along these claw marks were various lines of crimsons, quite clearly his own blood.
- Along with the wounds were the occasional burns as the Holy Magic had corroded away his flesh.
- (Maloth)
- As the fight was happening both Ariella and Avion, continued to watch, worry was all over their faces because it was Van.. like their potential mother. Ariella's new mother to be exact, since she did adopt the little girl. The fight was really intense..! Seeing two dragons going at it. This was Ariella's first time watching a huge fight like this. Now Maloth and the other red dragon tried to protect Van by getting into the fight against the black dragon.
- Ariella turned her head noticing Avion using his magic to summon up vines to try to help by containing the dragon on his place, if the vines were that strong that is. "You can do it Avion! Go Wooshy!" she called out the vines, ofcourse supporting Avion. Both of her fists clenched, wishing that there was something that SHE could do, other than standing around doing nothing... and she was angry about Van getting hurt like that. "...Van!" the girl yelled now running towards the wounded Van, kneeling right besides her.
- Tears started to fall out from her eye, dropping slowly to Van's cheek. And that's when a yellow glow formed around the toddler's hands, now placing the glowing hands on Van's wounds attempting to magically heal her battle wounds, IF it can heal. But this was her first time ever seeing her magic! Was this water magic..? Or somethin else..? It definetly looked something other than water magic. But she felt connected to it, and really strong.. but her main concern was to make sure that her new mother was going to be alright. "Don't DIE! DON'T DIE!" the toddler yelled as the yellow light would jump out of Ariella's hands and into Van's body, HOPEFULLY healing anything that was done in the battle.
- Ariella finally had magic! It can be possible that her magic was triggered by the wounded mother. It can also be possible that her magic could be tied into her emotions! Could that be possible?!
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- Azor had fallen, and the victors had been determined by fate to be Ra'Fenfir'Khan and Maloth. Ra' limped over to the downed reanimated corpse, it's body twitching and wounds beggining to heal due to it's other-worldly regeneration. With a heavy heart, Ra' would loom over Azor's body. Sudden flashes of how they first met in the frozen north began to flash by Ra's face.
- He did not like the man to much due to him having beaten him back then, his pride and ideology about humans and drakanites and other sub-species of the human race being only negative and one-sided. As time had pressed on, he gotten to change said perspectives, and the thought of Azor had settled with him much more, towards a more like-able stand point.
- To be standing over Azor at this moment, with him like this, and with his own intents on killing him. It felt almost wrong. Azor had always been a hero of good and right for the City of the Frozen North. If it where not for him, Ra' wouldn't have been able to graze around lazily in his cave atop Mt. Ire so many times before. He'd of not met and built a relationship with Angus if Azor hadn't helped keep Frostvale how it was as it's accepted vigilante.
- He had been one of the main hands to take down Kokb'ael and save Ra' just like the rest of the world. And for that, he thanked the dragon.
- Placing his talon tipped hand over Azor's head as he lay there, to weak at the moment to do anything against Ra's follow actions. Ra' would speak to the down dragon as he did so.
- 'I give you the gift to die, finally. You may now find peace... fallen hero. May Ryujin bless you to come back as a mighty dragon in exchange for all the pain you have gone through in this life of yours. But for now... sleep.'
- Ra' would apply a incredible amount of pressure on Azor's neck, trying to snap the bone that was revealed under a chink in the scaley armor he had on his neck. There was a sickening crack and pop as the head of Azor was successfully dislodged from his neck. Ra' would grab it and bring it to his face, the rotted face of the undead dragon staring him in the eyes.
- Ra' would proceed to breath fire onto it, melting the flesh that was shown, softening the scales just barely and heating the bone to become cripsed and brittle. Ra' placed the head down and raised his tail, forcing down upon the head three tons of force, resulting in it shattering completely.
- What followed was the same process to the right and left arms. First was the ripping it off, then heating it, then crushing it. The process continued onto the legs and finally the tail before there was nothing but a stinking and rotting torso left. Ra' looked at it, as it could not do anything now that it had no apendages to use, even if it could heal.
- Ra' quickly dug a large ditch, and tossed Azor's torso in. The sand that had been dug to bury Azor was put back into place, hiding his body completely under the sandy dunes. He would not be found by anyone anymore. No necromancer would bring him back to life to serve their selfish needs anymore.
- His body may rest, and his spirit may move on.
- Good-bye... Rachel Von Jackson.
- (Ra'Fenfir'Khan)
- As the childs vines went, he saw that Van was down for the count , he went over with Ariella to try and help, the fight was over but then they had to worry about the ones who were injured, Avion called his vines back over once the others had finished their busniness with the dead walking dragon with the attempt to have all his vines point towards Van in a particular order while having his hands facing her in the attempt to send forth his cosmic energy to her body.
- Seeing that cosmos lended people their energy and that they were both cosmic users, he imagined this would work and help refill her pool of mana, this was just an attempt though, who could know for sure that it can be done by channeling mana? On his forehead was a pattern of white markings which lead to the center of his forehead , where a bright star was , this was proof of him being a Godric. The child tried and tried again to help the woman.
- This dangerous and sad day made him think more and more on life!
- He wanted to help Ariella heal her, would it be possible even? Or would the vines somehow show the same effect as the ehaling nature tree?
- (Avion Godric)
- *brrrrnnshhhhhh*
- Holy Healing...
- "GUAAAAAAAAAAAAH,...KAAAAAAAAAAH!"
- Is very unpleasant for those with dark affinities
- "GWUAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!..HA...HA..HAAAA!!!!"
- It reacts poorly with their aura, and while it is still capable of healing them...
- "CAN YOU HEAR IT?!?!?!..GWUAAAAH-CAN YOU HEAR THE SCREAMS?!?!-"
- The process is a painful and stomach churning experience.
- "A MOMENT...SO PIVOTAL.....IT NOT ONLY ECHOS...GWUAAAAAAAH!!!!!!...
- But...
- BUT..SCREAMS...
- IN ALL DIRECTIONS OF TIME!
- This would be Van, stripped raw and exposed at bare. Her vien, the insanity within her, and the very trigger of it. Pain, torture, her past littered in fates worse than death. Such fates brought her pleasure, such fates often darker than her very clad.
- This is Van Alen....
- At the peak of pain....and laughing...in pleasure...
- (Priestess Van Alen)
- The female would arrive on the scene, clad in her blue cloak and goggles as always. Beginning to walk north from the gates after she had her body searched as the Empire would for anybody passing by, she saw that the desert before her was.. a wreck, really. Blazes lit the ground before her, craters and such littering the ground-- an intense fight must have happened here.
- Her eyes drifted and darted, looking for the source of this destruction, when she heard.. screaming. It alarmed her, peaking her attention as the female looked around frantically. Her eyes locked onto Ariella, who was seemingly healing the Priestess and she wasn't exactly having a good time.. she assumed what was happening and began screaming.
- "You're killing her! Darkness mages can't be healed with holy magic! Stop it!"
- (Jacquelyne)
- Azor had been downed, tendons severed and cut off, its body under heavy assault by the two. Their combined force had brought him down but it was Ra'Fenfir'Khan that stood able to finish the job. Ra spoke to it but there was no response...Only the sudden cracking of bones as it began regenerating back to life recovering from the damage.
- However its head was lifted and it face Ra and...there was immense sadness in its glowing orbs for eyes. Then the fire came burning its flesh adding a burning smell to the decayed stench in the air. Bones were shattered and broken resounding in the air. It lost its limbs and its forms...it was being destroyed slowly...bit by bit...as if the rest of it was finally losing...dying...
- As the last of its body parts were destroyed the husk remained there...but as it was buried there was suddenly a brilliant flash of light in the area. The body began to deflate..d.ecay even faster now that the magics could no longer sustain it. The bright light filled the area blinding all temporarily before vanishing.
- Then...a small blue orb appeared floating free of the body. It hovered above the resting place of its body and then it seemed...to take form. There stood a man strong and aged. Azor as many would know them. The aged warrior. Then a second later it shifted again into that of a small girl barely in her youth perhaps a child still.
- Rachel Von Samson the Second's original form.
- The soul seemed to hover there for a moment as it looked out at everything. It smiled gently and whispered words that were barely audible. "Thank you..." she said as her sould started to fade away returning once more to where it belonged...returning to the cycle.
- Rachel Von Samson the sixteen year old Dragon Hero could finally return...could finally rest and find peace with her family.
- (Azor Qaelchel)
- Ra'Fenfir'Khan: ... <*Nods at Rachel before walking off*>
- Adrianna got up to speed. It didn't take to long and, blissfully, she had witnessed the aftermath of the situation. Which was always much easier to handle. The woman rushed to do her civic duty none the less; from underneath her volumous robes she pulled out a leather-bound satchel, unwrapping it with hurried tugs all to yank out a roll of cotton-white gauze, tossing it down beside the perversion of a priestess and the local child brigade. "What you're doing is still working, but use something more practical." She murmured, sneering a little at the depraved, sand-bound woman before moving on past them.
- Instead of tending to her, the woman tended over to the other fallen figure - the one that she was somewhat familiar with. The re-fallen dragon could get her pleased attention in a moment. "Count?" She murmured, kneeling down beside him as she assessed his wounds, hands aglow to mitigate some of the pain as she tapped his chest.
- (Adrianna)
- Avion Godric: Sometimes...I wonder..Is Ryujin actually a Lifestream Dragon?..
- Finally..
- Maloth watched on with a pleased expression as Khan rightfully performed the right actions, reducing the once mighty Undead Dragon into nothing but an afterthought. For the moment, however, someone would take his attention of the scene at hand.
- Adrianna, a priestess he was quite familiar with, one that even offered advice on how to go about raising his settlement. "Hrm? Oh, hello.. What doing out here?" the Cyclops asks, a pleased hum coming to life as Adrianna went about doing her priestessly duties. The Holy energy worked to perfection from the jump, already numbing the pain-- though the multitude of wounds still lingered about, serving as a persistent detriment. Hell, they may even have been effected in some form due to the the Undead Dragon's origin.
- His pupil movedt towards the side, now taking a glimsp at the soul that escaped the destruction at the hands of Khan. It was.. Azor!--- Then a teenaged girl, one he was actually familiar with. Indeed, before it's destruction, Maloth had spent quite a bit of time in Wanderer VAlley, considering it's placement in the desert.
- And just like that? Rachel was gone, forever resting in peace with her mother and father.
- (Maloth)
- As soon as the healing started to go all over Van's body. She THOUGHT it was going to be a peaceful and beautiful healing process. But sadly... it wasn't..! Van was in pain..! How was she in pain? Why was she in pain? So many questions running around her head, but she was only three years old she had no idea what was happening!
- "Wha..Whaaat?" Ariella looked at her friend Jacquelyne telling her to stop. "Dark.. Magwic...?" Van had dark magic? Wasn't dark magic something evil?! Why does she has to find out like this?! "I'm so sowwwy!" she said backing away from the others, as tears were falling down from her eyes. All she wanted to do was heal her mother not hurt her!
- But then she was a little bit confused because of her having dark magic. Ariella was only three, she barely knew about all of that.. but hopefully.. Van won't die because of her..! "Avi..." the toddler whispered to herself needing him, while still crying and looking at her mother.
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- Maloth whispers something.
- Guard: Halt!
- Adrianna worked quickly, and dilligently. "Oh, this and that. You know how it is." The woman was kind enough to shift on her knees to the side some, letting Maloth see... whatever it is he so happened to want to see, her back turned to the entire affair. The anatomy of dragons was a bit beyond her medical practice abilities. Still, the woman worked briskly. Hands danced from the cyclop's many wounds to her rolled out medical bag beside her, pinching exposed, bleeding veins with metallic clamps before stroking over them soothingly with glowing, holy fingers.
- Armor was forcefully tugged from time to time, making the dragon-claw serrations even weaker where it was weak enough for a relatively mundane woman like the priestess to pull from. Simplistic bandages were placed, rather fluffy, padded things that kept covered up his wounds completely when she was done doing all the touchups and aid she could - and she could do quite a bit. Maloth would be wounded, bruised and aching for some time to come... but barely a few scars in the time thereafter. Even the fallen dragon's necromatic taint couldn't match holy purging, saving the cyclops from a rather sickly fate. For the most part, anyway. "You'll be fine."
- (Adrianna)
- *clnt*
- And for a moment...
- Van's hand reaches forward, attempting to grasp onto Ari's healing hand, despite the sharp-seering pain it'd inflict upon her.
- "No...."
- Van's eyes wouldn't seem so cold..
- She'd appear to speak rather calmly, though blood stream from the rims of her mouth, and depravity so sickingly thick that it'd begin withering the cacti in the area would spew from every crevace and pore of her body. For some reason, even with the profuse sweating and the intense panting, she'd smile.
- "Is this your first time...using magic?...I hadn't felt this magic in you before..."
- Her voice wouldn't be as scratch-raspy, but rather soft..
- "Don't stop..for something so trivial as my pain..."
- Her smile wouldn't send chills, but would seem rather warm..
- She'd attempt to pull Ari closer, placing two fingers upon her forhead in a similar fashion as to when they first met.
- "Please...Continue..."
- And she'd smell like sunflowers..
- (Priestess Van Alen)
- Razo was flying over to Nostvale to go see whats the situation of his place. He then sees a group of people and a dragon and something else. He was not going to get involved with something this dangerous.
- He saw alot of kids but they were dangerous looking. He then zaps himself upon the tower to avoid detection. He then proceeds to knock out the guards who didn't see him. He watches as a priestess does something and he keeps quiet. "This is crazy" he thought.
- (Razo)
- Guard: Time to bag and tag this scum!
- Guard: Time to bag and tag this scum!
- Maloth nodded with content, seeing as Rachel faded away, likely to rest in peace. It was a fitting ending for a girl that was consistently tormented throughout her life, by the hands of occultists, no less. From the loss of her parents, to the loss of even her body.
- Meanwhile, Adrianna worked diligently, healing and and lessening the wounds. The taint that persisted was done away with after a bit more effort. At the end of it all, the pain that Maloth felt had subsided and now he was covered snuggly in bandages.
- The 'Count' rose now, using his legendary weapon as a simple crutch, walking about with a limp. "Thank.. you."
- With that settled, Maloth turned to see the rest of the assemble. "All okay?"
- (Maloth)
- Priestess Van Alen: My...Anti-magic collar...<points towards where Azor's attack was first released>...I need it...
- Boohoo, tears falling down from her eyes, yeah they were still falling down her cheeks. Now hearing Van's voice. Ariella was pulled closer to Van, seeing how Van was.. proud of her daughter for using that kind of magic, but it was still hurting Van and she didn't want to hurt her mother... dark magic or not, Van was still her mother..! And she actually cared so much about Van.
- Now feeling her two fingers on her forehead, just like the first day they met! Ariella smiled at her mother hugging her but shook her head. "No...! I don't... want... to huwt you no more.... no.. i don't.." the toddler said backing away from her mother now, wiping her tears away. "I don't.. want to...!"
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- As he watched it all go on with the healing attempts, he saw Van Alen in pain but since she didn't want Ariella to stop, he could only encourage the girl to continue with the attempted healing, he tehen looked over to Maloth, nodding his head "Y-yeah!" he eplied to the giant cyclops when he asked that if all was okay.
- Avion wanted to ask Van Alen the moment she was abel to speak more clearly during or after the healing that was being given by Ariella . But now was not the time to ask such a question ,considering her condition, perhaps later when she was better will the boy ask .
- He tried to encourage Ariella "You must...It's the only way she'll get better soon..You have to Ariella." he said to her while placing his hands on the girls shoulder, trying to push her into doing what may have needed to be done to HELP VanAlen.
- (Avion Godric)
- Avion Godric: TIDUS! NOT INFRONT OF MOM!
- Guard: Get back here!
- Nodding encouragingly to the count, Adrianna watched him rather carefully - and critically - as the man rose, satisified with the results. Naturally, the priestess was a lot less dramatic about the endevour, gathering up her kit under the crook of her arm in the process. "They seem fine..." She murmured, looking over to the tainted woman and her personal daycare routine, though the still-standing dragon would get a much more detailed look over.
- "How about you, dragon? I... Can't say I'm familiar with how to care for you if you are injured, though." Would she even have enough bandages for that?!
- (Adrianna)
- Guard: I need backup, we have a rogue civilian!
- Ra'Fenfir'Khan: ... <*Writes*> 'I don't need your help, human... Just let me be...' <*Continues to try and walk off to heal natrually... he has a bad limp doe...*>
- Adrianna: ... Hmph.
- Avion Godric: We need to get Ms.Van someplace more safe than out here!
- Maloth: What he say?
- Tidus Godric: Yeah!
- Tidus Godric: <*Triest o levitate her into the air*> Where should we go?
- Adrianna: He was being the usual stubborn sort. You know how dragons are.
- Tidus Godric: <*:O*>
- Maloth: Get to Isthmus <*Says towards the boys, directing a head to the east*>
- Adrianna: Head to Nostvale. The gate is fairly close.
- Avion Godric: Yeah!
- Avion Godric: To Icsamest!
- Tidus Godric: To dah Itmus!!
- Adrianna: ... Children carrying a woman through the desert might not be wise. You'll have to do the lifting, either way.
- Priestess Van Alen: <passed out>
- Jacquelyne: I can lift them.
- Tidus Godric: ...
- Avion Godric: I have tree people to help! Well..Future tree people!
- Maloth shrugged. Even with his injuries, he could easily support Van's weight. Assuming the children didn't do the deed, the brute saunter grabbing ahold of the priestess with one arm and slinging her over his shoulder. If nothing impeded the path, Maloth would be off towards the Isthmus, beckoning the assemble to come with.
- (Maloth)
- Avion Godric: <*was gonna use vines to carry Van*>
- Adrianna: ... With a little more grace. Get her into a bed and she'll be fine.
- Adrianna sighed, shaking her head behind the cyclops and his tiny entorage. It was effective, at least, and reeking as much of a vile taint as that 'priestess'... well. The cynical woman was less than concerned about the whole affair. "I get the small joy of breaking the news to his majesty. Is there anything you'd like me to embellish, oh hero? Your partner has already ran off."
- (Adrianna)
- ....Now Avion wanted her to use her powers to HURT not heal... but HURT her mother. If he said so... she will do it....Ariella nodded at Avion giving him a small smile. "Fine.. I will do it......" the toddler looked at Van, walking towards her slowly and kneeling down right besides her. "Mommy... I... sowwy..." her hands were layed ontop of her mother's wounds, now closing her eyes and concentrating on her new holy magic.
- A yellow bright light formed on her hands, now going to Van's wounds attempting to heal them. Well, it would actually make her mother have incredible pain, but ... Avion told her to do it.. and her mother. "Mommy... please be fine! Please.... HEAWL!!!~"
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- Everyone with a brain knew you didn't heal someone that was an occultist.. using Exorcist power. Van would just have to find a way to recover some other way. Maloth's hand moved in the way, blocking Ariella's path so that she wouldn't needlessly harm the priestess more than she was already.
- Before the Boss Man could be off, Adrianna's voice is heard once more. "Em.. Bellish? Err. Not know what mean, but make Maloth look tough! Say he one who win.. Hrm, with hand one. Oh, try not make sound like Empire need come for Maloth, not need more problem," the simpleton would state with a smug grin. He was -one- to embellish his ways, especially when it was over magnificient creatures such as a Dragon.
- Assuming nothing else is said, the Cyclops continued off, throwing up the peace-sign on the way out.
- (Maloth)
- Adrianna: I intend to not say you by name, I'm afraid. Take care, count.
- Adrianna: ... And company.
- Avion Godric: Ms.Van! I wanted to ask!
- Tidus Godric: <*Sees as Van is knocked tf out*>
- Jacquelyne: Ugh.
- Avion Godric: Tidus...
- Tidus Godric: What..?
- Avion Godric: Since we're here, why not teamwork?..
- Tidus Godric: <*Is standing pretty close to Jackie btw*>
- Avion Godric: Train! Teamwork train!
- Tidus Godric: Teamwork wha-- Okay!
- Ariella Cadenza: <*Tidus is gonna date Jackie*>
- Ariella Cadenza: I... will wait for mommy to wake up...
- Avion Godric: Brother, see that target dummy?!
- Tidus Godric: No!
- Avion Godric: Let's try hitting it together.
- Tidus Godric: We spar first!
- Tidus Godric: Then teamwork!
- Tidus Godric: I wanna see how strong we are!
- Avion Godric: <*shakes head*> We're not that good!
- Tidus Godric: Come oooon!
- Tidus Godric: Don't be a poopy head!
- Avion Godric: <*shakes head*> We no spar till we seven!
- Avion Godric: When we have stronger bodies..We're too fragile...
- Tidus Godric: I sparred Jackie already!
- Tidus Godric: It was fun... but it hurt... a lot...
- Avion Godric: Fool! Mom says you can permanently break yourself!
- Avion Godric: <*is the book worm for a reason*>
- Jacquelyne: Nerd!
- Avion Godric: Grr...I'm only being wise...
- Ariella Cadenza: He is not a newd!!
- Avion Godric: It's best when we're more..What's that word...Developed..
- Tidus Godric: ...
- Tidus Godric: Whatever...
- Tidus Godric: Fine...
- Avion Godric: Brother..
- Tidus Godric: I'll do the training dummy thingie...
- Avion Godric: Even if we're nobles..We must take things slow..
- Avion Godric: Our cousins didn't spar till they were ten!
- Avion Godric: And they were royals!
- Avion Godric: <*covers mouth*>
- Jacquelyne: I've always been fighting!
- Avion Godric: <You're more wolf than human..it doesnt count..>
- Tidus Godric: Just... tell me what you want me to do, meanie...
- Avion Godric: Bwother! Your attack that makes the ground lift up..
- Tidus Godric: Uh... What?
- Tidus Godric: You mean the mudslide thingie?
- What Avion was referring to with gestures and such was that Tidus should use his Rock wall spell and that he should use his newly learned meteor spell that he had yet to show off to his older sibling, though he couldn't really put it out in words aside that Tidus use rock walll and he uses his own attack at the same time so that the rock wall damages and shoots their target into the air while Avion's meteor shall descend upon it and destroy it on impact.
- But then, the air began to feel very heavy to Avion, the rains began to fall upon them, a tropical storm was coming to them AND THEY WERE IN ISTHMUS!
- (Avion Godric)
- What a fucking hectic day. The Priestess Van Alen is taking indoors, set into a bed. Afterwards? Maloth comes back outside, inspecting the area and ensuring that no more hostile activities were occurring in -HIS- Sarad Desert.
- Of course, there wasn't a week in Valmasia that could go by without strange occurrence developing.
- The desert, yes, I said the desert-- was raining. Out of nowhere, storm clouds had developed, releasing a heavy downpour of water that pelted all that resided outside along with the terrain. In disbelief, the behemoth looked upward, as the liquid continued to flow.
- "What? HOW? This never happen 'fore.." Woe was he. Where was his adviser to advise on the situation?!
- (Maloth)
- Euryael Gorgwain: Raining in-
- Stethen Gorgwain: -the desert? <Sitting in a tree!>
- "Guyyyssss! Don't fwight right nowww!!!~" Ariella yelled at them, knowing that they wouldn't listen because they were too busy being boys. She heard what Jac said that she always fought. But Ariella? No she didn't fight.. actually she was to young to fight.. only three years old... so no, she didn't want to fight. But she was mainly happy about her new magic that she just obtained!~ It was so beautiful and it felt.. good inside of her.
- ...Her body was now being pushed, but by what..? There was no one around..! And then rain started to come down, soaking everyone who was exposed outside. "Aaaah!!! Aviiii!" Ariella said calling for her friend, feeling her body being raised u- well no. It was moving her. Ofcourse a strong wind would move a small little girl like Ariella.
- Ariella turned around running to the neariest tree holding on to it, and covering herself with the leafs, not much water falling down from there! What was happening? Were they going to die...? She has never experienced something like this before!
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- Tidus, his face mounted with that frown sighed. Not pleased with not being able to spar with his younger brother - but then the pouring rain had begunto cascade the Isthmus and other parts of the world alike. The heavy blowing winds blew Tidus back a little, him being a relatively light weight.
- He managed to force himself in place by making his center of gravity strengthen around his feet. Tidus soon rose his leg upwards slowly, then letting it slam on the ground, the earth beggining to ripple and come to life with his mana. Stone where forced upwards violently as Tidus did his very best to control the earth beneath him.
- As the stone flew up, the ground soon calmed before beggining to bend inwards slowly, it's texture like rubber. It was around ten feet deep and fifteen feet wide, something relatively medium sized if anything. It provided a safe haven from the raging winds. What came after was a tall ten foot tall dome which would begin to rise and move over his brother and himself.
- He'd yell to the others, not letting the earthern dome close just yet, leaving it open long enough for others to come inside to hide from the rain and raging winds.
- "Everyone! Get inside my earthy dome!"
- (Tidus Godric)
- Euryael Gorgwain: <Probably clinging tighly to the tree>
- The winds howl across the outcropped village, causing the trees to stretch and groan in complaint. Unsecured latches and doors start to bang across the entirirty of the establishment, a few loose ceiling tiles going flying up in the air before crashing "safely" somewhere in the grass. The villagers make themselves scarce, huddling up in their homes sensically. Already everything is wet, grass getting loose and muddy as the tiled road is practically a river of fallen rainwater. The villagers were in for a rough night.
- At least it wasn't a hurricane! Then again, hurricanes don't usually make someone scream out on the sea-side.
- Her head looked left and right, unsure of what to do-- Jacquelyne didn't expect weather this bad, especially in a place so close to the Sarab. Even Maloth, somebody who had probably been here for years, hadn't seen anything like this.. boy, that sure made her more relieved. Taking in rapid breaths, the female raised both of her arms to pull her goggles over her eyes.
- Her jade irises locked onto Tidus-- but he was too far away to run to it seemed. Frantically beginning to panic, the female pooled her mana. Jacquelyne walked through the storm, putting both of her arms forward as to protect her face. Each step she took was blown back though, it was hard to make any progress in this weather.
- The young girl pumped her raw mana into her leg muscles, physically enhancing them enough to where she could withstand the storm. "T-.. Tidus!" she exclaimed, her voice getting muffled out by the raging winds. As much as she wanted to communicate with her friends, she probably wasn't heard through all of the noises.
- Diving forward to grab onto Tiduses' feet, she laid on the ground. "Thanks.."
- (Jacquelyne)
- Euryael hisses into the pounding wind, clinging tightly to both the tree, and her brother. *crackle* it, that storm had come in awfully fast! Even as much as she was used to getting soaked by her brother just from close contact on a daily basis - and as much as he was used to getting sparked from similar lack of control in her magical abilities - this downpour was the sort that stung your skin where it hits. The winds were a wracking, razorlike nuisciance as well.
- "THIS *crackle*ING STORMMM!" she hisses. And they had been over here just to maybe get to talk to the Priestess again! Hey, it was nice knowing that not all of their old friends weren't dead.
- The woman shivers and presses tighter to her brother. With hope, the branch under them wouldn't crack, though it sounded possible, what with the way it was creaking. . . maybe it was a good idea to get out of the tree?
- Nahh. Trees were safe havens for the Twins! Usually.
- (Euryael Gorgwain)
- And suddenly, not it was seeming like a good time to go gain shelter. The storm picked up in intensity without warning, immense winds blowing about and even threatening to dislodged the various trees and plants that gave the area it's beauty.
- Of course, while the other objects, and perhaps the children, held trouble in withstanding the storm, Maloth found it manageable, although difficult. With a simple thought, the earth below shifted, wrapping itself about the giant's ankles in order to fortify his balance. Both forearms comes up, shielding his face and chest from the onslaught of the rough winds.
- Like intelligent people, the regular citizens of the Isthmus rushed away, most going into their housings. Maloth, on the otherhand, opted to stay out, keeping an eye alert for any stragglers that would be unfortunate enough to be caught in this sudden weather anomalty.
- (Maloth)
- *slpssssh!*
- <font color=purple"Bluuueeeeehhk!-cough..cough-"
- -Flash Back-
- "GUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
- The pain nearly rivaled that which crafted her whole. She could see it..vivid visions of her past, the experiments that created her accursed magic...The merchant that raped and tormented her..the very same who she'd tormented in return...the pain she'd self inflicted in an insanity fit to return the use of her accurssed abilitites. Those she'd tormented....
- Then there'd be Ari
- -Present-
- "-cough..cough-"
- *drp..drp*
- She'd been in doors for a few days now, recooperating spiritually after her daughter's holy healing and their return to ISthmus. It'd been, indeed, a hell of a trial with Van damn near projectile vomitting akin to the possessed into a toilet.
- The roof dripped and the frame of the house she'd taken up residence would creek and teeter with the heavied sway of the wind.
- "Bluuuuueeeeehk!"
- But van would be a bit occupied, so much so that it'd be hard to give it much mind.
- (Priestess Van Alen)
- Appius was quite comfortable seated in the carriage, one leg crossed over another as his hands held each other and rested peacefully on his knee, untiiiilll -BOOM- a roar of thunder echoed from the skies. Of course, it was never 'simple' in Valmasia, always something happening,"Hmm? That's strange, clouds and thuner not caused by me?" he muttered to himself as he stared out the window of the carriage. His golden eyes perring throough the mask to look out towards the remaining Desert territory, the horses reared up at the volume of the thunder.
- This would prove to be a problem, but he was close enough to the Isthmus already, thudding footsteps followed by clanking of violet armour could be heard on the grass. The place now extremely muddy and wet, breeze blowing quite wildly at anyone who was within the Isthmus, his crimson cape now rose behind him, flashing about wildly. Thank Kraus the mask protected his face from debris, water and potential mud, also the wind, his body fueled with mana, the lightning crackling around him obliterating small objects that came in his direction.
- Though he had his lightning, the ground was muddy and slippery, no way to travel easily, unless.. The lightning crackling around him grew more fierce and active, crimson bolts of lightning shot across the area, but his teleporting was disturbed by a scream at the shore. His head turned towards the scream, though the rain was roaring he still managed to hear, a second of concentration before crimson bolts shot towards the direction of the damsel in distress. The people of the Isthmus peering through their windows at the magis in the area, something eerie was going on, it was no normal storm...
- (Appius)
- Like Tidus, Avion thought it would be a good idea to use magic to fight against these forces of nature, the oceans seemingly to be attacking them with this storm, the young Godric child clapped his hands together as he always would when performing his magic because it was a sign of prayer at the same time when he soon summoned forth a large vine to come out of the ground for him to hold on to.
- Essentially having a medium sized pillar keeping him where he was, he looked over to Tidus and looked for Ariella "Ariella! Are you okay!?" the child yelled in worry for her and himself as well as the others.
- WHAT WAS GOING ON?!
- (Avion Godric)
- There were a few more screams - isolated, far away. Just barely audible over the constant hiss of wind and spray of water, certainly not visible through the steady fog that pounding rain had managed to create. Something was wrong.
- Even louder then those screams, however, was a loud SPLAT! A wooden crash followed. Another splat, another. Thick sounding, though it was hard to tell where. The next, however, was a bit more clear - it was infront of the congregated magi! A blackened shape came sailing down from the sky in a simply equisitive arc, landing in the middle of the drowning road with a sizely splash of water along the local residents. The shape splattered along the ground, stretching out like putty before slowly retracting into a 'standing' position, bobbing back and forth. It looked thick, like tar - and matched the color of it, too! - but was far to flexible for it. It smelled putrid as well - and was evidently hostile, as the strange, animated boop (probably) dipped its crown to crash into someone!
- The screaming in the distance causes Stethen to perk up a bit, amber eyes roving the pounding washes of water uselessly as he holds tightly to his sister. Lovely. Well, at least he was pretty used to being covered in water, even if he wasn't exactly used to it hitting him this hard.
- But that screaming. . . AHH WHAT WAS THAT THING THAT HAD FALLEN FROM THE SKY IN FRONT OF THE OTHER PEOPLE THERE?! He could just barely see it, but it causes him to jolt.
- In what was probably just barely audiable to his sister above the roaring of the rain all about, Stethen hollers, "One had better get down from here!"
- If Eury was willing to follow, he would help his sister and himself out of the tree in spite of the terrible weather, and struggle their way over to see what was going on over there.
- "Aw [censored]."
- (Stethen Gorgwain)
- Tidus gave a small panicked smile towards Jacquelyne as she made it under the earthern dome he and his brother had been under. Though, from the bit of it that was open he saw black sludge falling from the sky. He had heard of mimic's before since they were a known species in Valmasia now. His father Firion had told him the story of what they did when they first made themselves known in Valmasia.
- They were icky looking creatures that resembled tar and could copy the apperance of someone if given enough time and physical contact. Tidus was a bit scared by the goop to say the least. Though, against his fear, he looked at the goo in awe, never thinking that he'd see a mimic since he lived in Danarium.
- He shook his head after gawking at it, turning his attention to Maloth.
- "Maloth! W-What's happening? Why are there mimic's here?!"
- (Tidus Godric)
- Looking about, Maloth urged whatever citizen that hadn't yet sought shelter to do so now. If there were others that were physically unable to do so, the brute would gather a few more underlings to direct them towards safe locations.
- Regardless of the water that persisted and drenched his skin and unfortunately the bandages placed on his body just a few hours prior. Eventually, as the tropical storm still raged about without restraint, screams could be heard. Screams of people? Maybe.
- The confusion ends, however, as an all too familiar sludge falls onto the ground. It possessed a stench reminscient to the creature faced in Byson. Was this another mimic-based phenomenon? Most likely! "Hng.. What going on..?" Maloth would mutter, completely ignoring the putrid smell that persisted.
- His hand had already drew his favorite weapon just incase he'd have to slay things.
- (Maloth)
- What...was going on?! Was the world about to end?! No..! It couldn't be ending..! Ariella slowly stood up from the ground looking towards Avion, as he yelled at her. No she wasn't okay! Something very very bad was happening! So, what she did was run towards Avion, covering her face, shielding her face. Now making her way to Avion, holding onto the vines that he created. "Avioon!"
- Ariella heard screaming, and something coming from the sky. Mimics..? What were mimics...? Now she was just plain afraid of what might happen next. Would they run or fight them off? "What's going ooooon?!" Ariella yelled with a terrified voice. Now, tears began to run down her cheeks. Where was her mother at?!
- They needed help! They were under attack by some.. mimic creatures thing!
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- Appius moved as fast a she could, well teleported really, but the fog made it quite hard to see, he would have probably never noticed the giant sludge creature falling from the sky if it wasn't for, oh I don't know.. It breaking everything the people have worked on! Now Appius wasn't exactly the typical good guy, but he wanted to genuinely assist Maloth and now this thing came and started wrecking stuff? He wouldn't take it likely, a peeved occultist, go figure.
- Continuous bolts of lightning shot across the foggy area, mud and water in abundance beneath his teleporting feet, when suddenly he was alongside the other magi. He turned to Maloth and gave him a nod, same to the Priestess Van Alen, his allies and friends, soon however he would face their opponent, the massive sludge like creature. "Hmm, what is that?" he would throw the open question out for anyone to answer,"Whatever it is, it's destroying the Isthmus.." he growled, sounding more frustrated now.
- The lightning crackled louder as his temper flared up, his expression fierce beneath his mask, not that anyone could see it, his hands flexing and his muscles tensed and relaxed. He couldn't let all the work go to waste, plus after narrowly losing to Myrddraal in recent time, he had some anger to vent.
- (Appius)
- *Scrrrnnnnn....bnph*
- She'd close the door to the restroom, her right hand braced against her forehead while her left scowered the space infront of herwhile she'd wobble her way to the nearest bed. However, as she'd touch the sheets, she'd begin to feel something. A sort of feeling that would no doubt act to touch the depraved membrane that engulfed her core.
- "Can you smell it....can..c-c-c-can you taste it..can you feel it..deep in..deper den' your soooooooooul...deep within your spiriiiiit....c-c-c-c-can you hear it.?
- *bdnph...bdnph..*
- "..."
- She'd grasp her collar, tightly, her eyes shutting as if attempting to squeeze her eye lashes free with force alone. The feeling beckons her, and her Anti Magic collar had been nothing more than a mental deterrant by now, it couldn't really contain her inner self.
- The feeling would come from her stomach. The memory of the pain, the torment. She couldn't help herself. It'd be like a post traumatic trigger. However, she'd hear screams. Deep within the facade of the hurricane and the sound of something synonymous to enlarged rain drops thudding along the Isthmus canvas.
- *Blng.lng.lng*
- Her window bursts open, and within an instant, Van's home would be emptied. She'd likely be unseen by anyone there in her movements, as she'd exist in a slower reality of time and her natural speed had been nothing to laugh at.
- Thus, she'd arrive on the scene where the original screams eminated from, but she'd simply stand, teetering from side to side with her staff grasped firmly in her mouth and her arms hanging forward without any sense of reason.
- It'd seem more like lunacy...
- (Priestess Van Alen)
- Appius: <--- is willing to buy dawnbringer
- As Avion held on to the vine, he reached out to Ariella, the child now having to see all that was going on, watching as some people got pulled away into the waters, he wanted to attempt his rune magic writing, but that was too risky for such a rookie level of a kid, for all he knew, the rune he might write could split the surface in half, making matters worse!
- Instead he held on to that branch "Bwother! This be tooooo much mate! " he shouted , looking back towards Maloth and Van's direction to see if they were doing, what was going to happend now, what was going to become of Istmus, and now there were mimics..
- F***
- No one was safe it was like "Attack on Mimics" or some shit right now! And it was up to those with the power to fight to put an end to this! Lucky enough this little Godric had such fight in him, the blobs appeared to be of color and more, they were hostile? It was time to fight! If such were to attack or make the attempt, Avion would shout to his older sibling.
- "Bwother! Our ultra special super amazing wooshy plop zip zap team work!" he shouted as he held out his right hand above his head and waiting for Tidus to put up his as well , while the child began to charge up his pre-mature cosmic energy to make a child like meteor star that was just charging and waiting for his brother to try and coat it with his gravitational pull .
- "BroBro Val-stroid" which was just a planetory meteor, and by planetory , it was simply a Meteor which should have a gravitational pull.. All the while the child would soon attempt to bring forth the energy of life to combine it with the astral ambience to form the lifestream aura, however this had failed the first few tries, backfireing on him and being knocked away, getting back up after , he tried once more with less of the attempted traits desired, he could only control so much, for now this would have to due, a change came to his astral ambience ,making it a light blue and paradot green like color, faintly but surely, this change was for the better of the fight on the boys behalf.
- (Verbly can be done with the right timing)
- (Avion Godric)
- For various reasons, after the week of meditation, Shiro and Hermes decided to leave their secret spot, and instead moving on to other places. Shiro went wherever, and Hermes was heading to the Isthmus. Maybe there would be some fun there. Upon his arrival, he knew he'd have a good time. He started walking, and as he walked past the large stone walls at the entrance Hermes was introduced to hell on earth. Looking around, he could see large puddles, and an obvious storm was going on.
- Hermes was even pushed back at times his self when not expecting some large gust of wind. "Odd...I've been here before but never seen this." Hermes thought to himself as he stared around with a blank expression. Now, the right thing to do is leave, but Hermes was far from 'right'. Hermes continued to walk further into the village. Discovering black sludge laying around as well. The people in the village were being lifted from the wind, and even thrown around. Hermes just watched them get lifted, and kept moving forward.
- The only way Hermes himself wasn't being thrown around was due to his own gravity magic. He made sure to keep himself compressed to the ground for the time being. As he continued to walk deeper into the town, there were others who seemed to be able to actually hold their own within the wind as well. Even little kids, two of them he knew. Hermes kept some distance between them all, he doubted any of them could recognize him due to the new wardrobe, and hood though he didn't want to take a chance right now.
- For now, Hermes just....Stared. He watched all of their reactions to this dire situation. Some of the people used magic, others just ran around or shouted at each other...Odd people.
- (Hermes Malpercius)
- The mimic continued to, somewhat non-threateningly, swing and 'attack' at people. The 'priestess', on the flipside, was marginally more proactive - for her troubles, the woman would receive a door flying to her face. It wasn't any direct malice, really, the pried off wooden panels from a house came no where NEAR her.
- There was an inhuman roar as a massive figure emerged from the foggy mist, not even the least proturbed by the harrowing weather. The fat green beast swung its flaws to and fro dimly, stumbling along in the mud before it finally noticed the priestess. The seaweed covered creature acted fast, hoisting one of its claws up and tossing the blackened sludge-creature it had at the woman! Surprise, the strange, newly appearing creature was hostile!
- Today was just a fucking dandy-day.
- Already, Maloth was forced to deal with one of the many Necromantic Dragon-entities that Nostvale had conjured. Now? A storm was wrecking his city, uprooting the many trees and breaking apart many of the buildings that made up the establishment.
- In time, it seemed the storm's producer had made his grand entrance. A green creature, ugly and apparently possessing the power to manipulate toxin or these sludges.
- Even while harmed, the Cyclops wasted little time, his body blurring and moving with a noticeably limp in order to reach the green target. Van Allen was a valuable asset to the kingdom, no way he'd allow her to be harmed in this eventul. Although with the nagging injury, a lot of help from the 'Daycare' squad likely would be needed, though Maloth wouldn't ask of it.
- (Maloth)
- Tidus nodded to his brother, Avion, raising his his hand up to face the meteor which he had made above his head. There was no time to be awe-struck, even Tidus coudl realize that. The meteor would begin to allure small objects towards it from a decent distance away.
- Tidus shouted out to his brother, pointing towards the Crellus which had been trying to attack Van Alen, their mother figure.
- "Throw it at that green monster thingie!!"
- If thrown to begin with, the earth beneath the meteor would begin to lift up and lace the meteor with it's hard stone and soft mulch and dirt, thanks to the gravity which forced things closer to it. It was almost like a small planet being launched at Avion's will.
- A true work of art and example of team-work it was.
- (Tidus Godric)
- The massive beast was eventually ACTUALLY FOUGHT and proved it's worth, though was easily dispatched after a moments time. It proved to be one of many, however, as the same roar it bellowed out was mirrored across the town - a lot. Distant, shadowy shapes could be seen skulking in the fog, their hulking, dark silhouettes waddling out from the sea and hurling themselves onto land.
- The county was under assualt! The storm must have riled these foul beasts up!
- Seeing that that first one was defeated, he told Tidus "Bwother! There's more over there!" he pointed to the ones on the east side where they will soon throw the massive meteor star enhanced with a field of pulling gravity towards one monster in the attempt to start such a brotherly battle with it, if possible, they had hoped that this one will go down easily.
- If not, then Avion may soon have to call upon the forces of nature to help them, then again, it was the forces of nature against them right now with such power and tactics.. He said to Tidus, "We should stay together! " he knew better than to go off fighting alone.
- What will happen? Who will win?!
- (Avion Godric)
- "Huh. More squishies.. Why squishies here? Mess up Maloth place!" the brute would murmur with content. It was quite clear what these creatures were doing now. Assaulting his land, aiming to reduce it to nothing but rubble. But for what? That much, he didn't know.
- Rather than sit here and questioning, Maloth moved about, intent on doing what he does best... Smashing stuff.
- The first creature that he took notice of would be the recipient of cruel, unrelenting stabs and swings from the legendary Palthus weapon. Assuming the first 'bout was easy, the Chieftain moved on to the next way, mindlessly laying waste to the squishy creatures that dare harm his establishment.
- (Maloth)
- Appius looked out and realised that his friend, Priestess Van Alen, the same woman who had stood up for him when Ersa Avharain came threatning to kill him, she was being given a blunt of the damage. First it was destroying the Isthmus' development, now it hurt his ally? His mana instantly flared, the sparks and crackles of crimson lightning became much more fierce and wild, the raw lightning mana swirling all about the pissed off occultist.
- Depravity leaking from his very being as he prepared to strike down the green beast, frying it, hopefully allowing it to feel pain, if it could. His arm outstretched he wanting to dispose of the Crellus, but it seemed the other magi rushed ahead an blocked his shot. He growled and contemplated shooting them out the way, but it was just the frustration talking, trying not to let it get the best of him, he turned away and aimed it at one of the other sludgy black creatures.
- (Appius)
- Everyone there seemed to be tense. Girl were getting snatched up, and it looked like others even knew the woman. Some of them threw things at the crellus, and what not, others didn't even care it seemed. Hermes was one who didn't really care, although...This was getting interesting. Was there another reason for the storm other than some natural cause? Hermes decided some sort of participation should be given if he wanted to find out more.
- One of the sludges came rolling over in a disgusting blob. Hermes raised a brow at it, and then quickly just pushed it away with his own gravity magic. He turned back towards the group, and the Crellus. Hermes decided that he'd stay in the same spot, but he'd help by changing the gravitational field around the beast. As Hermes did this, he allowed the others to go on about killing it or whatever. Hopefully something good came out of this.
- (Hermes Malpercius)
- Today was just... going plain bad. Yes, it was going bad for her. First the fight with the dragons, second her mother got badly hurt, then she caused MORE freaking pain into her mother's body. And now they are being attacked by mimics and a huge green creature thing but Maloth defeated it. Now the Godrics brothers wanted to go fight, should she join? No she shouldn't because she had no idea what to do, but being a beginner healing, she was not going to let them go alone.
- Ariella would follow right behind them. "I go with you guys! I heal you guys.. you guys fight.. I heal you guys..!" the adorable toddler smiled at them giving them a thumbs up, but at the same time she was nervous about her mother, she payed close attention to Avion and Tidus. No, she wasn't going to mess up their little brother fighting time. What she was going to do, was watch from a bit far to use her healing magic powers to heal the brothers just incase one got hurt!
- Ofcourse she was afraid.... It was Mimics and green big ugly creatures attacking them... but she had to put on a serious face! For the fight... It was war now!
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- As a small note, this is an event with risk! If you are downed more then once you might suffer injuries.
- AH if you are downed and need a ride back.
- Tidus would not towards his brother before taking flight, a layer of dirt and stone quickly flying up to make a second layer of skin on Tidus's body. Tidus would eye the surrounding mimic's with a bit of a mischevious smirk, letting his mischevious trouble-making side begin to show.
- The ground beneath the blobs of tar like goo would begin to sizzle and become lit with the light of the star Tidus had a pre-mature connection with. The cosmic magic seemed to quickly come and seemingly 'glue' itself to the mimics.
- What followed was Tidus lifting the five he had attacked before they could gather themselves and mushed them up into one big ball of goo. They'd then fly towards teh Crellus which Avion and he had worked together to defeat, dealing a good amount of damage over time, the tar like creatures sizzling the Crellus's shell as the mimic's were covered in said star energy.
- (Tidus Godric)
- Bandit: Get 'em!
- Avion Godric: There's one by the gate thingies!
- Appius: I'm here to assist child
- Avion Godric: HA!
- Appius: Don't die.
- Avion Godric: Hehe!
- Appius: Not bad.
- Avion Godric: Couldn't get past my tree's!
- Appius: But we're not done yet.
- Avion Godric: HAAA!
- Avion Godric: Brother!
- Avion Godric: Team Work!
- Tidus Godric: Yeah!
- Avion Godric: YOU CAN'T ESCAPE THESE BRANCHES! WOOSHY WOOSH!
- Massive creatures attacked from the depths, clawing with (surpisingly weak) strength at the loyal fighters and, more importantly, the buildings. They spewed acidic breath, destroying whatever might be in their path. But, they were mortal. The heroes of Isthmus proved their worth in Valamasia, destroying the strange invaders and their tar-like "weapons" with relative ease.
- But at a cost.
- The village was in disarray. Buildings were damaged, though none outright destroyed - weathering the storm might finish the job for an unlucky few. The soil was turned, tainted with acid and showing sickeningly black dirt where grass once was. The roads likely wouldn't survive the night.
- The heroes themselves weren't in the best shape. Those who fell once have wounds to their name, though they would heal with time and treatment safely. The one who fell twice, however...
- Avion Godric: YOU CAN'T ESCAPE THESE BRANCHES! WOOSHY WOOSH!
- Tidus Godric: THIS IS FUN! THROWING BIG MONSTERS AROUND IS FUN! LOOK AT ME MALOTH! I'M STRONG LIKE YOU!
- ... Has a spained ankle for his trouble when his leg was trapped in the muck and he got dashed around some, but he was lucky.
- The day was saved, though the storm continued abated. The storm may have triggered the storm, but ending the creatures certainly didn't stop it. It would be a lengthy night - but at least one these 'heroes' could hide inside from.
- Of course, they'd be stuck nursing warm soup and tapping off runny noses, but that's what happens when you dash about in the bone-chilling rain.
- Jacquelyne: <*FELL ASLEEP, OR SOMETHING.*>
- As the child went on facing these beast with his comrades and older brother, he used his vines and cosmic energy to fight back, they couldn't escape his vines! His dodge game was that impressive. But what has the child gained from this? Experience on the field was one thing.
- He smiled that they had won, and then he saw Ariella hurt "Ariella!" he ran to his friend with the aid of vine surfing, yes, vine surfing, that wont be the only thing he will be surfing though, the young Godric soon arrived by his friend "Are you okay?" he asked
- His aura cooled down from it's cosmic light, the kid was going this far already at an early age, he knew that going on an adventure would lead to this..Atlease he and everyone else lived to see anotherday to live as happy children and wise adults who watched over them.
- (Avion Godric)
- *Splsh!
- The debris iron the woman flat, causing her to swiftly lose conciousness within an instant of her weakened state. No, fate wouldn't have her go at it, not today. It would appear as though the momentary ferral state she'd be in, and the longing to feed upon the life stream of another, likely a civilian, had been thwardted.
- Thus, a battle insued...
- But where had Van been the entire time?
- Passed out beneath a door
- (Priestess Van Alen)
- The Crellus and mimic's had proven to be quite the challenge, the few that managed to hit Tidus dealing proportional damage - though in the end he'd live... even if it ment he'd have to live without his left eye. Tidus found himself on the floor in agony. The Crellus, it had managed to snag a hit to Tidus's face and with that hit, it had stolen his eye.
- Tidus held onto his eye-socket where his left eye had been. It was a dull pain that came from the lost optical sensor - him feeling the wind and rain enter his eye where his hands couldn't shield the exposed wound.
- Blood began to slowly come from the wound, bathing Tidus's hand in a crimson ichor. He moaned from the pain, hitting the ground hard trying to stiffle his howls. He said out loud, obviously finding it hard to cope with the pain. It hurt so much, that he couldn't cry from said pain... just wince and shut his eyelids.
- "MY EYE! I-IT'S GONE!!"
- (Tidus Godric)
- The creatures certainly packed far more of a punch that anticipated. With the devestated ranged attacks nearly knocking him out, its deemed necessary for a change of strategy.
- In response to their surprisingly powerful strikes, Maloth employed a hit and run tactic. No longer could the behemoth rush in like some barbarian, whethering whatever attack the opponent could offer. Instead, he moved with deception, chopping down a bulk of Green Mutants and subsequently fleeing to time the next attack.
- Thankfully the children and bypassers were assisting, gaining much of the attention and allowing him to swoop in for sneaky kills and such. After what seemed like an eternity, the threats had been quelled, although the storm persisted. The victory, sadly, was a hollowed one. The streets were ruined, along with various buildings and other objects.
- Certainly, much effort and resources now had to be applied for relief and reconstruction. With the battle one, Maloth made a return trip towards the assemble of magi, ensuring that all was well. The rest of his militry unit continued with patrol despite the weather to make sure none of those slimy creatures were still kicking or hiding.
- (Maloth)
- Hermes badly wanted to just stay still in one spot, and just hit the nearby crellus with his gravity magic, but these savage beast weren't having it. Hermes watched as one of the beast sent a wave his way, this wave being the strongest thing he'd ever felt in his life! He rolled around in the ground from the hit, and got back up quickly in shock, he had to fight...He was pissed, and simply running away wouldn't be in his best intrest.
- Hermes stayed to fight, and got more into it. He was smacking the monsters there left and right. Finally, after a long ass time of fighting, Hermes and the others had been victorious. Would something else go down there, or was this it? Hermes might as well leave now.
- (Hermes Malpercius)
- ...Now they were all about to face the beasts, they were more than one! What was happening? Where did all these green ugly creatures come from?! Oh god, what a horror site! Ariella didn't know what to do, she just stood there scared... afraid... seeing the warriors fighting... and the Godric brothers were doing actually pretty good!
- Concentrating on the fight, she didn't see an attack from one of the green creatures, sending the cute toddlers body flying away hitting herself against the grass, having a few cuts on her shoulders. It wasn't that big of cuts but it still hurt! The cloak was damaged because of the cuts that she had, it was ripped and the wound could be seen on her shoulders.
- It did hurt.. ofcourse it did and being a toddler like her she had to cry! "Ariella!" a voice ran through her ear.. It was Avion! He was vine surfing towards her... THAT WAS SO AWESOME! Avion is the best magic user!
- Ariella's eyes was watery, as she began to cry. But as she was crying, and rain was still pouring down into the bodies of the people in the land. Water dropped into her shoulder wounds, as it glew a bright light now healing all of her scratched wounds that were on her shoulders.
- Her crying stopped, now standing up looking at Avion. "Avi.... I heal... me...?" she said actually feeling a bit better but her legs were hurting a bit as well. Being throwing across the ground wasn't the best feeling ever, but she managed to suck it up and rush forward to Avion giving him a tight hug! She was so glad that her friend was alright, Avion was alright! "Do.. you need healing..? You did it..! You won! You beat gween creature!~"
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- Was this some sort of joke? The amount of power they brought forward to reduce the Isthmus to ash was quite unnatural, waves of Crellus and black sludge monsters came forward. The magis on one side of the 'battlefield' the sludge creatures on the next, in a split moment both sides charged forward, swords, spears and shields alike, hefted into the air for war. The magis versus the sludge creatures, his sword cut down the piles of goo with little difficulty, the black ones at least.
- But then came, oh Kraus, the Crellus, it's magical power was far stronger than that of an average magi, he placed a shield of dark mana around himself, to block and deflect their attacks. Continuing his assault, he watched the magi around him fighting, is this what it was like to have allies, to have people that were willing to risk their life for yours? Assisting even the one Godric boy, Avion in their own personal team attack against a Crellus that had dispatched the guards at the entrance of the Isthmus.
- All in all, it was a great fight, but a mis-step on his end caused him to end up in thick sludge, spraining his ankle, Appius grunted from the sting,"Damn it.." but then he'd realise his problem is insignificant to the boy who lost his eye. Fortunately the fight was won, but it was still pouring, wind whistling and tossing up debris an mud, probably best to go inside, with a grunt he stood, limping he walked over to the others. "We can worry about everything else once we find shelter." he would suggest looking towards the gathering, wait a minute, Van Alen! He almost forgot. Walking over to the soaked door, he tossed it aside, hefting the older woman on his shoulder he walked back to the group.
- "We are we going?" he asked with the woman on his shoulders.
- (Appius)
- Being hugged by Ariella the young Godric child had grown a smile on his face, he helped saved a Kingdom at a young age! His relatives the Melyms didn't even do that in their history! He hugged her back feeling praised and joyed that everyone was okay-----Tidus had losted an eye! How did this happend to his older brother! That yokai pendent should have protected him like the merchant who sold it to him said it would!
- "Airella! heal Tidus! He need it more!" he spoke as any 4 year old would speak, he was nervous for his older sibling and wanted to know how it happend! Perhaps a Crellus caught him off guard , moving with high speeds that it slashed his claw downwards to slice out one of the eyes Tidus possessed.
- How harsh! Monsters were so cruel! He tried to help him the best way he could, with Ariella at his side, she was ever so kind to him, and he was sure to do the very same for her in return as they grow, but now , Tidus needed help. He looked at Appius "A Crellus slashed his eyeee!" he shouted in a pleading voice for help as any child would of course.
- (Avion Godric)
- "uuuuh..swnnnn...huuuuh..swwwnnnn"
- She'd be out, fast asleep after being hoisted. One would swear she hadn't slept in ages. The woman, using the door as something akin to a bead-cover by this point, would look rather peaceful as the soaked wood is removed.
- She didn't really appear to have much damage about her body, so it'd be clear that she hadn't faced battle aside from a minor bruise across her face. This would no doubt be the result of being smacked in the face with a door. Though, her being a Magi, the damage of door-to-face wouldn't be as much as a normal human.
- Thus, she'd snore faintly, unable to respond as she's spken to from atop Appius' shoulders.
- (Priestess Van Alen)
- The heroes, in a fit of whimsy, all come together and clasp arms, posing for an unseen camera.
- It continues to rain on their literal parade.
- Hermes Malpercius: <*Doesn't pose for no one..Leaves the 'heroes'>
- (Avion Godric)
- Unsurprising, the empire news doesn't care about the small county.
- As their hug broke, she looked at Avion smiling at him. Ariella felt so happy around Avion because he made her happy... he made her to not be afraid of most things. Now turning to his brother, Tidus seeing that he had lost an eye..?! What?! How was that possible?! Ariella nodded at Avion and ran towards Tidus looking at his eye. "I... don't know if I can heal.. this...."
- But she was not going to let Avion and Tidus down, she was going to TRY her best to do it. Both of her hands were placed on his eye wound, hoping to heal it. A yellow flash ran down his eye, attempting to HEAL his wound. "Please... heal... please. Tidus... please be strong..!"
- Yellow orbs of light flew around Tidus's damaged.. as his eye started to return back to normal, somehow it was.. but it was taking a lot of her mana/energy away. It was her first time using her obtained healing abilities on someone with a messed up eye.
- "There....Tidus..." Ariella said backing away tired and falling on the ground smiling at herself. Yay! Tidus was good.
- (Ariella Cadenza)
- It was all finally over within a week, the monsters that had been defeated now all joined together within the lifestream, young Avion smiled that the kingdom was saved, the village was now at peace again but in need of reconstruction, who know's it may even be fixxed up soon in no time.
- He closed his eyes with the book of runes close by him in his hands, looking up into the stars now, the young Godric child had hoped that this night stayed as peaceful as it is now.
- What did it mean for the child now?
- His aura of cosmic energy and unstable life energy , glowing bright in his attempt to utilize it with many other attributes, remaining the same until it was time to revert from this form, he was safe from it today due to not trying to actually go full out with it and such.
- Will he actually achieve the new complete light of the positive Lifestream aura to shroud him one day?
