Superkids: Pirates


	"Hang 10, Michael!", Norman Rayne yells. Michael Drayren, accompanied by Penelope Irons, is surfing out to join Norman and his sister, Julie Rayne, as the former uses his weather powers to create some stormy waves. The Superkids are having a beach party in Florida after having defeated the third of three monsters created by a villain named Dr. Flamethrower. With Dr. Flamethrower himself locked up in a D.A.N.G. base prison cell, the Superkids decided to celebrate their victory.

	"The food ought to be ready soon", Penelope informs the Rayne siblings. Norman whips up one last tidal wave, and the four of them ride it back to shore. Norman and Julie manage to ride the wave all the way there, while Michael and Penelope wipe out and are sent flying over the beach. Fortunately, they land on the gigantified sleeping Poppy Piercen, bouncing off her belly and sliding down to the ground. Poppy subsequently wakes up, shrinks down to her normal size, and heads for the four grills where the food is being cooked. The grills contain both hot dogs and hamburger patties, and Poppy helps herself to both. Her Superkid BFF Molly Maybelle also takes both types meat onto her plate. The other Superkids begin getting their food one by one. Norman and Julie devour their food quickly, and rush back out to resume surfing. Michael and Penelope soon join them.

	"There's a ship approaching Norman and the others", Saladora "Sally" Blitzer points out.

	"That isn't just any ship. Check out the flag flying on it", her brother, Felix Bitzer, points out. The Superkids on the beach all notice the ship's flag, which is black with a skull and crossbones emblem.

	"Looks like pirates to me", Sally responds. Norman, Julie, Michael, and Penelope notice the approaching pirate ship, which heads right for the four of them.

	"There's D.A.N.G. tech on board their ship", Penelope notices. The four Superkids surf over to the pirate ship and land on the deck. The pirates quickly take notice of them.

	"They must be some of them Superkids that Captain Purplebeard warned us to be prepared for", one of the pirates remarks. Several of the pirates arm themselves with what look like high-tech bazookas. They fire something at all four Superkids, which Penelope dodges. Sally runs out to the pirate ship, using her super-speed to run across the top of the water, and sees Michael, Norman, and Julie tied up with some kind of high-tech ropes.

	"Those are Anti-Ropes. D.A.N.G. designed those for capturing super-powered individuals, as they neutralize the powers of anyone caught in them", Penelope explains to Sally. Sally tries to rush at the pirates, but slips on a puddle and flies overboard. Penelope grabs a surfboard and jumps after her. The pirates through the remaining three surfboards off their ship, and sail away in a hurry, taking Michael, Norman, and Julie as their hostages. Sally manages to pull Penelope onto a surfboard, and the two of them surf back to shore, carrying the remaining two surfboards with them.

	"We gotta report this to D.A.N.G. immediately!", Sally insists. The Superkids end their beach party and some of them head to the D.A.N.G. base in Roswell, while others head to the D.A.N.G. base in Miami. Sally, Felix, and Penelope are among the Superkids who go to the Miami base. As soon as they arrive, Sally and Felix contact their parents at the D.A.N.G. base in Roswell and tells them about the pirates.

	"That would be Captain Purplebeard's bunch. They've been stealing tech from D.A.N.G. bases around the world. This is the first we've heard of them showing up in the States. They haven't hit any D.A.N.G. bases here for some reason", their mother, Nemona Blitzer, explains.

	"If you want to find those pirates, you should head across the ocean. I'd recommend going by boat or sub, since the pirates will be traveling over water as well", their father, Ryan Blitzer, adds. Sally and Felix decide to set sail across the Atlantic Ocean with a group of Superkids, while Brandi and Robin Naturia would take a team of Superkids from Roswell and sail across the Pacific Ocean. The Blitzer siblings find a number of D.A.N.G. boats down at the docks. Penelope makes some modifications to one of them and quickly gets it read to sail. Sally, Felix, Penelope, Ezekiel Castor, Marcus Lyon, Mavis Lyon, Poppy, Molly, and Annabeth "Annie" Chrome board the ship. At the same time at the docks in western Hollywood, another D.A.N.G. ship sets sail on the Pacific Ocean. Superkids Brandi, Robin, Daffney Versand, Pedro Chavez, Darlia Annstein, Ritchie Leonard, Andrew "Andy" Brakken, Luna Boltright, and Alena Kristy are on board. The Naturia siblings and the Blitzer siblings take charge of their respective crews, dubbing their ships the S. S. Blitzer and S. S. Naturia respectively (Penelope and Pedro steer the ships, however).

	The S. S. Blitzer sails across the Atlantic, but the Superkids on board see no sign of the pirates. After a while, they spot land ahead and decide to make landfall and explore a bit.

	"We've landed in France", The Lyon twins realize, "The two of us were here a while back. It was shortly before those aliens tried to invade the planet. We visited a city called Paris". The twins lead the group to Paris, and they quickly locate the French D.A.N.G. base there. They find three people there: a brunette-haired woman, a blonde-haired man, and a girl of about 13 or 14 with blue hair. The man and woman are wearing batching black suits, though the woman's has a skirt and the man's has dress pants. The girl is wearing a light blue skirt, pink jeans, and white slip-on shoes.

	"Greetings Superkids", the man remarks.

	"I see our daughter Daffney isn't with you", the woman adds.

	"You must be Eisenhower and Sabrina Versand", Sally responds.

	"I am Katie Beaux, a Superkid like you", the girl reveals.

	"Katie Kirsten Beaux. Superpower: Amalgamation", Felix reads off, having pulled up the Superkid database on his spy watch.

	"I can fuse stuff together", Katie explains.

	"Daffney is with the crew of Superkids that set sail across the Pacific while we were sailing across the Atlantic", Penelope explains.

	"The two of us have been standing guard here in case the pirates show up", Ike reveals.

	"We received word from Roswell that Superkids had been taken hostage by the pirates, and that groups of Superkids were setting sail to rescue them", Sabrina adds. Sally decides they should contact the S. S. Naturia and let Daffney know her parents are in France.

	Meanwhile, the S. S. Naturia has docked in Toyko, Japan and its crew have made their way to the D.A.N.G. base there. They haven't seen any sign of the pirates.

	"There doesn't seem to be anyone here", Pedro points out. A hidden door opens up in a nearby wall and a boy and girl appearing to be about 13-14 step out a secret passage. The boy has green hair, and is wearing a red shirt, orange shorts, and navy blue sneakers. The girl has jet-black hair tied in pigtails and is wearing a bright orange hoodie over a bright purple skirt and hot-pink sneakers.

	"A bunch of pirates showed up here and looted the place. We hid in this secret passage to avoid being taken hostage by them, as they mentioned having three Superkids hostage already", the boy explains, "by the way, my name is Leroy".

	"We chose to remain here when the D.A.N.G. agents left to warn other D.A.N.G. bases because we'd heard that Superkids from America were setting sail in pursuit of the pirates and figured some of you might stop by here", the girl adds, "by the way my name is Jadith, but most people call me Jade". Brandi and Robin access the Superkid Database on their spy watches.

	"Leroy Donovan Weissecher. Superpower: Deja Vu", Brandi reads off.

	"Jadith Chiaki Polaski. Superpower: Temperature Manipulation", Felix reads off.

	"I can duplicate any object, or revert said object to a previous state, or cause a repeat of any event I recently witnessed", Leroy explains.

	"I can make the area around me hotter or colder at will, as well as apply said effect to anything I touch", Jade adds.

	"If the pirates aren't here any more, we should probably head back out to see and keep looking for them", Darlia suggests. Leroy and Jade decide to join the crew of the S. S. Naturia as they return to their ship. Right after everyone makes it back to the ship, Brandi recieves a phone call from Sally.

	"I thought Daffey might like to know we ran into her parents at the D.A.N.G. base in Paris, France", Sally explains. Daffney and Pedro decide to go meet up with the former's parents. They retrieve a motorcycle from the Tokyo D.A.N.G. base and head across Asia towards Europe. The rest of the crew sets sail in the S. S. Naturia, heading south.

	Daffney and Pedro travel through China and up into Russia. They eventually stop in Moscow, which is where the Russian D.A.N.G. base is located, to grab a bite to eat. As they leave the D.A.N.G. base after eating, Daffney and Pedro spot a familiar semi truck parked at a nearby restaurant. They notice the bounty hunters Bountymaster and Captura chowing down at the restaurant.

	"If the Superkids are looking for their captured friends, they will probably leave America behind to search for Captain Purplebeard and his pirates", Bountymaster remarks.

	"So we just have to keep checking D.A.N.G. bases on this side of the world and they will probably show up sooner or later", Captura adds. Daffney and Pedro rush off on their motorcycle before the bounty hunters take notice of them. Daffney quickly calls the other Superkids on both ships and warns them that Bountymaster and Captura are looking for them while they are looking for the pirates.

	Meanwhile, in Alaska, Superkids Bonnibelle "Bonnie" Arcbright and Jack Breacher contact the S. S. Blitzer and S. S. Naturia for updates on the pirates situation. They quickly learn that Bountymaster and Captura have joined the hunt.

	"I suggest we set out to help the Superkids. Dealing with pirates would be hard enough, but now those blasted bounty hunters are involved as well", Bonnie recommends.

	"Agreed", Jack replies. The two of them make their way to the bottom floor of the Alaskan D.A.N.G. base, where all the watercraft are kept. Jack looks over all the ships available, then spots a big red submarine already in the water. Jack's parents, Jason and Lucietta Breacher, are nearby along with Bonnie's parents, Gabriel and Suzie Arcbright.

	"We figured you two might decide to go help your friends, so we prepared this submarine for you. You'll have an easier time getting around all the icebergs near here if you're underwater", Lucy explains.

	"Gabe and I are planning to take one of the Sky Sleds and fly to the D.A.N.G. base in Paris, as we used to live there before we befriended the Breachers", Suzie explains.

	"You two should rendezvous with your friends as soon as possible", Jason adds.

	"By the way, we got a hold of David and Mona Rayne and told them their son and daughter had been captured by the pirates. They know you Superkids are trying to track down the pirates and save everyone, so they have prepared snacks for all of you Superkids. The two of you should stop by Hawaii and pick them up", Gabe adds. Bonnie and Jack climb into the submarine and set sail for Hawaii.

	The Superkids in France decide to go on and return to the S. S. Blitzer and sail onward. The only D.A.N.G. bases in Africa are in Egypt and Madagascar. They check the one in Egypt and find no one there, so the S. S. Blitzer sails to Madagascar. The Superkids make their way to the Madagascar D.A.N.G. base, and enter it to find a lot of booby traps set up. They dodge several pitfalls, spikes shooting from walls, walls closing in on them, and nets launched at them. Eventually, they reach the base's control room.

	"Why are there posters on the walls with the faces of various Superkids on them and bullet holes shot through them?", Annie wonders.

	"Probably because this base has been taken over by Bountymaster and Captura", Ezekiel reveals, having seen envelopes addressed to the bounty hunters on a desk.

	"I suggest we leave then. They could have set up this place as a trap for us", Penelope reasons. The Superkids quickly rush out of the base and back to the S. S. Blitzer. They decide to sail down to Australia next.

	The S. S. Blitzer arrives in Australia at the same time as the S. S. Naturia. Both groups of Superkids meet up on the eastern coast of Australia. They find several pirate ships docked in the Sydney harbor.

	"Looks like Purplebeard and his pirates are here", Felix reasons.

	"Good. let's go rescue our friends and kick some pirate booty", Sally adds.

	"The pirates could be anywhere in the outback", Penelope points out. They decide to head north out of Sydney, and travel to Canberra, which is where the Australia D.A.N.G. base is located. Along the way, they come across what appears to have once been a large zoo, and the Naturia siblings decide to check it out. Right after they enter the former zoo, a brunette-haired man and woman emerge from a house in the middle of it, whom Brandi and Robin both recognize and rush up to.

	"Mom! Dad!", Brandi and Robin both yell, "D.A.N.G. told us you'd perished on a D.A.N.G. mission with the Boltrights and Kristys".

	"We were attacked by Captain Purplebeard and his pirates. They took Daryl Boltright, June Boltright, Jonah Kristy and Arianna Kristy hostage along with the two of us, but we eventually managed to escaped", Steven and Teresa Naturia explain, "We just made it back to Australia a day or so ago and were making our way to Canberra when we stopped to rest here".    Mr. and Mrs. Naturia join the Superkids and they find a bunch of jeeps while exploring the former zoo.

	"This place was once a zoo, if you haven't figured that out yet. back before the Nuclear Apocalypse, some ancestors of ours not only ran this zoo, they lived right here in the house we just came out of", Teresa explains. The group takes several of the jeeps, and Penelope gets them up and running. Traveling by jeep, the group soon arrives in Canberra and finds the D.A.N.G. base under attack by the pirates.

	"Where are the hostages?", Penelope demands as she approaches the nearest pirate.

	"They're back on one of our ships, locked in the brig", the pirate reveals. The pirates turn their attention top the Superkids and an all-out battle begins. Felix turns into a lion and lashes out at the pirates. Poppy gigantifies herself and smashes a large cannon one of the pirates was preparing to fire, while Molly turns several pirates into dolls. Penelope manages turn turn some D.A.N.G. weapons the pirates stole against them. Brandi summons a pack of Dingoes (wild dogs native to Australia) and sics them on the pirates. Robin ties up several more pirates with vines. Daffney and Pedro end up facing Purplebeard himself. Daffney forms part of her hair into a sword and faces the pirate captain in a swordfight.

	"My hair is invulnerable", Daffney reveals to Purplebeard. The pirate captain abandons his sword for a bazooka, only for Annie to jump into the fray with her own bazooka. Daffney shields herself with her hair as Annie fires and sends Purplebeard flying.

	"Save some pirates for us", familiar voices yell. Jack and Bonnie have arrived in Canberra along with Norman, Julie, Michael, and the Rayne, Boltright, and Kristy parents.

	"Everyone retreat. Let's get back to the ships", Purplebeard declares.

	"That might be a little hard", Norman remarks, "After Jack and Bonnie rescued everyone, I whipped a little hurricane that sank all of the pirate ships". Bonnie begins to hypnotize Purplebeard, but the pirate captain surrenders before she has to. Agents from the Canberra D.A.N.G. base quickly round up all the pirates and take them into custody. Poppy and Molly quickly fall asleep (the former still in her gigantified form). The rest of the Superkids head back to the former zoo, deciding to fix it up so the Naturias can live there (Brandi and Robin had explained that they were born in Australia and D.A.N.G. relocated them to the States when their parents were thought lost). Katie uses her power to "repair" damaged buildings by fusing them back into solid structures, and Leroy follows that up by using his power to restore the repaired buildings to how they were in the past. Jade uses her power to cook food for everyone, and of course, the Raynes brought snacks. The pack of Dingoes arrives at the park and hangs out around Brandi, while the crocodile that had been with her before swims in a nearby pond (it had stowed away on the S. S. Naturia).

	"Let's get the party started", Brandi declares. The Dingoes howl in agreement.
