- Notes for Source comment faces by /u/RandomRedditorWithNo (if you wanna change this, upload a new pastebin and replace the link, but also tell me please)
- "No particular order" follows the order of the main comment face page (https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/wiki/commentfaces)
- Within the "No particular order" section, anime names are listed by their most popular name. Popular abbreviations are used where possible. (e.g. Konobi instead of "This Art Club has a Problem")
- "Sorted by source" is sorted alphabetically by source. At the moment some faces here within each source are sorted in upload order. Some are sorted alphabetically. Others are not sorted. The plan is to sort everything within each source alphabetically (one day).
- Within "sorted by source" anime names are listed with their romaji titles, where they differ from the English titles. (e.g. Black Lagoon stays the same, but Spice and Wolf becomes Ookami to Kyoushinryou). The exceptions are Neon Genesis Evangelion, THE iDOLM@STER and The Monogatari Series. Neon Genesis Evangelion is listed as such because of its ubiquity under that name. (Even MAL lists it as as that). THE iDOLM@STER and The Monogatari Series are listed by their second word, as articles are ignored.
- Franchises with discontinous entries and discontinous names are listed as separate subheadings under a larger heading. (i.e. Gundam and Precure are listed as such, but Love Live and Love Live Sunshine both start with "Love Live" so they don't need it. Raildex is a mess and needs to be fixed by someone who's seen Raildex.) Sequels are not listed as separate entries.
- English titles and popular abbreviations are listed in brackets after the original title. If both these things exist, they are separated by commas.
- hyphens (-) are first alphabetically (so K-On is the first of the Ks, etc.)
- Tables within "sorted by source" abide by the following rules. Lower ranked rules take precidence over higher ranked ones. (Rule 1 trumps rule 2)
- 1. Tables are no wider than 4 columns.
- 2. Tables use as little vertical space as possible.
- 3. Tables use as little horizontal space as possible.
- 4. All tables are center aligned.
- 4. Tables use as few characters as possible. (still working on this one)
- This has the following results
- Number of faces | Arrangement of table
- -----------------------------------------------
- 1 | 1x1
- 2 | 2x1
- 3 | 3x1
- 4 | 4x1
- 5 | Table is 3x2
- | 3 on top, 2 on bottom
- 6 | 3x2
- 7 | Table is 4x2
- | 4 on top, 3 on bottom
- 8 | 4x2
- 9 | 3x3
- 10 | Table is 4x3
- | 4 on top 2 rows, 2 on bottom
- etc.
- Tables will also remove unnecessary pipes and spaces, so the end result will be something like this
- ###Show 1
- [](#face1) **#face1**|[](#face2) **#face2**
- :-:|:-:
- ###Show 2
- [](#face3) **#face3**|
- :-:
- Alternative sources are listed alphabetically by comment face. I don't have this sorted. Post as much information as you think you need in the notes section.
