  1. GMB: title without keyword, can I still rank?
  2. I registered my business on google my business and I completed my profile:
  3. ++++++++++++++
  4. list of top cheapest host http://Listfreetop.pw
  5.
  6. Top 200 best traffic exchange sites http://Listfreetop.pw

  12. Listfreetop.pw
  13. +++++++++++++++
  14. - I connected my site
  15. - I wrote a brief description
  16. - I set service area
  17. - I did a POST with my keywords
  18. Unfortunately for issues that I can not explain, the TITLE of the activity must be "my name and surname", without reporting activity / kword on the title.
  19. I thought that because the profile is well compiled and that on Google I'm ranking well for those words google would have taken the keywords from the description / my authority online. And for this reason I'd be able to show when someone searched those keywords in my area.
  20. Unfortunately I appear on search results only if I write my first and last name (that is what is written on the title).
  21. What should I do?
  22. What you need to do is get citations for your GMB page. The page will rank for the keyword you want it to rank for if the keyword is used in the anchor text of the citations done. You really have to be careful the way you use the keyword in those anchor text so that as not to be considered as spamming. Hope this helps.
  23. Are you saying it's important to do backlinks on GMB page? Is it right?
  24. Are you saying it's important to do backlinks on GMB page? Is it right?
  25. I did not say do backlinks but what I said was that you need to do citations. When you do those citations, you need to mostly branded and naked url anchor text and then alongside those, the keyword you are targeting to rank for.
  26. Sorry mate, but I don't know what citations are.
  27. I searched and it seems they're simply places where my name/url/phone/address are all together. Is it right??

  33. Yes. Basically, that is what citations are. You must also make sure (with emphasis) that your NAP (name, address, phone number) are all the same on your website, you GMB page and those paces you are putting your citations.
  34. 1 - Can you provide me some EXAMPLES of NAP?
  35. 2 - On website and public directory I put always the same address (CITY, NAME SQUARE civic 1). BUT for google I put another - REAL - address (where I live). GMB address however is hide. Will this be a problem??

  38. Put it exactly the way it appears on your GMB on your website as well as citations without changing anything
  39. My GMB has NOT address! because it shows my page as "service area".........
  40. 1-can someone provide an example of citation?
  41. 2-NAP stands for name address phone, but in GMB I am...... NP = Name, phone. This because I am showing with service area, not address
