  1. ---[Part 1 - Master of Wealth/Power/Fame]---
  2. You get weapons based on the town you’re in. These weapons have a level, which allows only travelers who have reached that level can equip them. Enemies are only at level 20 so don’t expect much from this yet.
  3.
  4. ---[Part 2 - Master of All]---
  5. Second verse same as the first. Weapons rise up to level 60. Meteor Gear is your strongest weapon set in this part of the game and you’ll get access to that at the beginning of Chapter 8.
  6.
  7. ---[Part 3 - Bestower of Wealth/Power/Fame]---
  8. You can now forge some weapon sets, such as Innocent, Tyrannical, and Twilight. Their power ranges from level 60-70, so 3-Stars don’t get to join in on the fun. You’ll need to defeat elite monsters to get the materials you need to forge. Also, you can only forge weapons in the respective town you (generally) get the materials near.
  9.
  10. Stage I - Regular materials
  11. Stage II - Polishstones and Refinestones
  12. Stage III - Refinestones and Strengthenstones/Softenstones (depends on the weapon)
  13. Stage IV - Stage III Weapon & Battle Tested Weapons.
  14.
  15. You can get Battle-Tested weapons in two ways: defeating the L80 Veterans (freebie the first time, then it’s a random drop), and exchanging Historic Fragments.
  16.
  17. Something of note: Battle-Tested Weapons are stronger than ALL Stage III weapons. But since you use a Battle-Tested Weapon to make a Stage IV weapon, those are even STRONGER.
  18.
  19. ---[Part 4 - Bestower of All]---
  20. Here’s where it really gets complicated, because now we’re delving into SOUL WEAPONS! First off, all Soul Weapons are level 60, so we can include maxed out 3-Stars in the mix. Also all the weapons have the same stats. The difference lies in the weapon slots and the bonuses for having souls equipped.
  21.
  22. There’s four classes of souls: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Rainbow. You can slot lower class souls into high ones (bronze goes into gold slots, but rainbow does not).
  23.
  24. You can also forge them using Polishstones which you can get from normal battles.
  25. Stage I - 2 slots. Normal Materials.
  26. Stage II - 3 slots. Polishstones.
  27. Stage III - 4 slots. More Polishstones.
  28. Stage IV - 4 slots. ????? (We’re not there yet as of writing)
  29.
  30. There’s also five different types of souls:
  31. Sun Souls - Raises Stats.
  32. Human Souls - Grants resistance to elemental damage or ailments, or increases damage to or reduces damage from Hellfiends.
  33. Star Souls - AKA Souls of War. Grants a boost of potency in a specific traveler’s move. Rainbow only.
  34. Moon Souls - AKA Souls of Mastery. Grants an SP reduction to a specific traveler’s move, or it can raise his damage cap.
  35. Dice Souls - Use these on Fortune Weapons. More on that later.
  36.
  37. In addition to all this, there are three TYPES of Soul Weapons:
  38.
  39. 1. --(Hell Weapons)--
  40. These have the added effect of dealing more damage to Hellfiends (and [redacted]). You get these in Hell and you’ll be needing them since Hellfiends are quite chunky when it comes to their stats. By the way, did you know there’s no damage cap as far as Extra damage to Hellfiends goes?
  41.
  42. 2. --(Fortune Weapons)--
  43. These do extra damage to LIVING enemies, as in the normal ones. You can get these on Fortune’s Game Board. Play the game, earn Medals and spend them on stuff to make Fortune Weapon, namely the weapons themselves, the Dice Polishstones, and of course the Dice Souls.
  44.
  45. Dice Souls can only be used on Fortune Weapons, and there’s three type of Dice Souls:
  46. Wealth - Increases E.ATK, E.DEF and SP at the cost of P.ATK, P.DEF and HP.
  47. Power - Increases P.ATK, P.DEF and HP at the cost of E.ATK, E.DEF and SP.
  48. Fame - Increases both physical and elemental stats. But it’s only half as effective.
  49. (Rainbow Dice Souls don’t actually decrease any stats by the way)
  50.
  51. Right now we can go up to Fortune II, but we’ll have the same four slots regardless of upgrades.
  52.
  53. 3. --([redacted] Weapons)--
  54. Currently JP only, and we won’t be seeing those until later. They’re basically [redacted] weapons. They deal extra EXTRA damage to [redacted] monsters. You get them from [redacted], which you get to much later.
  55.
  56. ---[Part 5: The Chosen One]---
  57. Things get a little fuzzy here since we haven’t reached this point, but this is Side Solistia territory. Which means that you won’t be able to bring Orsterran weapons to this area. No Battle Tested Weapons or Soul Weapons are allowed here. You can only use Solistian weapons in Solistia.
  58.
  59. Thing is, you can start Part 5 early on, as soon as you complete your first chapter In fact. This means that both newbies and veterans will be able to play this part. And as such, there are two sets of weapons. One's for novices that are low-level, and one's for veterans which are high level. They have extra effects added to them. But unfortunately, everything else is currently JP exclusive.
