I generally grab local stuff just to here it and don't keep it on my hard drive for extended periods, unless its soundboard related, due to the size of my concert collection and hard drive space confines. I generally collect soundboard onstage only and listen to audience stuff just to see how the current tour is going.

Also, I work in computer security and have been repeatedly hit with nasty viruses from bit torrent users (when you are seeing 1.2 kb on a finished torrent keep downloading endlessly, thats bad). I find that not staying on torrents overnight and for large extended periods and even keeping my computer off the net during idle times solves this issue.

I appreciate the site, and understand the need to share to keep it going, but with the traffic so low if you don't tape and upload shows, its pretty difficult to keep a 1.0 ratio if you don't hop on when the torrent was uploaded.

Sites like bt.etree.org seem to have no issues with torrenting, seeding, and reseeding and its a ratio free site. Games like Team Fortress 2 also have had much more success as a Free 2 Play game rather than one where you have to purchase it to play. You might consider a ratio free cotapers to try and increase its numbers. Sometimes the login alone is enough to eliminate users. Although I can understand wanting to limit access to avoid strange MPAA people and viruses, this site is legal artist apprived music only, so that shouldnt be a problem.

Also, I have plenty of stuff I would like to share, but its not current, and it doesn't appear people want non-current stuff here.

Lastly, appreciate the work you guys did here. I have met your partner at a couple cervantes and bluebird shows and thanked him in person. I also heard you guys influenced nolatapers, thanks for that as well, I'm a yearly jazz fester.
