Description: Ladd, a felon on parole after serving about 1/3 of a 40-year sentence for the 1978 murders of a woman and her two children, r*ped Vicki, before strangling her and beating her with a hammer. He stole a microwave oven, combination television/video recorder, jewelry, and two telephones, which he sold for crack cocaine. He then bound her arms and legs, before placing some bedding between her legs and setting it on fire.

Ladd murdered Vivian Thompson and her two children on October 25,1978. I’m unable to confirm the race of Vivian and her children at this point in time, so info about this crime is here for now. Ladd stabbed Vivian to death, then set the place on fire, which killed her two children.
