*Personality: Meta Knight is someone who values strength, both his own and of others. He's always trying to better himself, and if he can better others as well then so be it. His tolerance for laziness is extremely low. He has a strong code of honor, sometimes to a fault. He always treats his underlings with great respect.
*Skills:
**Meta Knight is a very adept swordsman, with all that entails (he's quick on the draw, his reflexes are high, etc.).
**He is also a skilled commander, having gotten experience from leading his own little group.
*Powers and Abilities:
**Meta Knight's special abilities come from his Dimensional Cape and his sword Galaxia.
**The Dimensional Cape:
***Can let him warp short distances. He can also teleport for longer distances by wrapping himself fully within it, but he needs to have a good idea of where he's going to do so.
***Can transform into a pair of batlike wings to let him fly.
***He also uses it to perform Galaxia Darkness, a technique in which he wraps someone in his cape and uses it to hold them in place for an extremely powerful slash. He does need to get close to the target in order to pull this off, however.
**Galaxia is capable of letting Meta Knight fire beams if he's in good enough condition or if he holds it skyward for a few moments beforehand. It's also very sharp and can cut most materials.
*Bio:
**Meta Knight's early life is more or less shrouded in mystery. All that is known is that he was born on a planet called Popstar.
**Popstar happened to be a popular source for invasion by numerous threats, and so Meta Knight decided to do his part in fighting them off. At some point over the course of his self-training, he came across his cape and his sword, which lead to him adopting the identity of a knight.
**From there, he decided form a group, called the Meta-Knights, to which he trained in his ways and who assisted him with his goals. With their help he eventually built himself a ship, which he called the Halberd.
**There also happened to be another resident of Popstar who Meta Knight was familiar with; a fellow (possible) member of his species named Kirby. Kirby was well-meaning, but ultimately a little childlike and naive. After Kirby managed to help a region called Dream Land by retrieving their food from the greedy King Dedede, Meta Knight saw potential in him and decided to act as a stealth mentor to him.
**So it went, up until Popstar was invaded by the Haltmann Works Company. After attempting to fight them and going through some decidedly unpleasant experiences at their hands, Meta Knight decided to leave Popstar in Kirby's capable hands to stop threats to Popstar before they even reached it. So he took the Meta-knights and the Halberd and flew off into the cosmos.
**Usually, he did not linger long at whatever planet he stopped at. However, eventually his wanderings brought him to Earth. Maybe it was because he thought its inhabitants needed to be stronger. Maybe it was just that he saw potential in it. Whatever it was, he wound up staying far longer than he intended.
**Eventually, he was approached to join the crew of the USS Verne. As much as he would had wanted to take his own ship, he admired the goal of their mission and opted to join them, leaving the Halberd to his own crew for however long it would take for him to return.
