  1. >You, Kazooie, Twilight, and Fluttershy were in the middle of a field.
  2. >Actually, it was the same field you woke up in.
  3. >You all tried to find were you had woken up at, but gave up after quickly realizing that it was hopeless. There had to be a million different locations you could have been.
  4. >So you were all in the middle of the field now, everyone waiting for you to finish reading.
  5. Oh, you have got to be kidding me..
  6. Kazooie: C’mon already Aanon! Hurry up, I’m dying to stretch my wings!
  7. Then go already! Here-
  8. >You flip to a section that was especially for Kazooie.
  9. >The worst thing was, the moves were obviously for her, and it was titled Kazooie at the top.
  10. >You really weren’t Kazooie after all.
  11. >You had hoped to see your own name, but the page was torn at the top of your list.
  12. >There was also a third section, and it looked like it was for both of you to do together.
  13. >Judging by some of the moves, you really had to trust each other to do it right.
  14. >You both must have been really good friends.
  15. Twi: Ok Aanon, anytime you’re ready.
  16. >Twilight had a notepad and a quill, ready to jot down your every move.
  17. >You look at the notebook again, and sigh.
  18. >Best get this over with.
  19. >You start at the very top of the combined list.
  20. Jumping. That seems easy.
  21. >You jump up and down, taking your time.
  22. Kazooie: You can’t be serious, right?
  23. Ok, ok.. Fluttering.
  24. Flutter: What?
  25. Nothing. It says here that you can help me out in the air a little Kazooie.
  26. Kazooie: Yeah, I can read Aanon.
  27. Care to try it?
  28. Kazooie: But.. won’t I look silly?
  29. No..
  30. You jump up in the air, and Kazooie puts half her body out of the backpack, flapping her wings wildly,
  31. >You softly touch down on the grass.
  32. Kazooie: hmm.. we need something to jump off of..
  33. What? I think it is just fine.
  34. Kazooie: Cmon Aanon, don't be a wuss.
  35. We are just fine doing it here. We don't need to jump off anything.
  36.
  37.
  38.
  39. >You were up on the top of an abandoned shed, looking at the ground, an easy 2 stories below.
  40. How did you talk me up here?
  41. Twi: She didn’t, I did, remember?
  42. >You try to avoid looking the drop that could easily break your legs.
  43. Umm.. I changed my mind..
  44. Kazooie: Don’t worry Aanon. Trust me.
  45. >You sigh. Even though Kazooie got on your nerves at times, you still felt a huge amount of trust for her. You couldn’t really explain why, but you could trust your life to her without hesitation.
  46. >You grip your hands into fists, and flawlessly jump off of the building. Kazooie, like promised, extended her wings, and flapped vigorously, safely returning you to land.
  47. >You were shaking a little, but you had to admit, it felt pretty good. Adrenaline had kicked in at the moment you jumped.
  48. What’s next?
  49. >High jump.
  50. >You practically could jump twice your height with Kazooie’s help doing what seems like a pointless backflip in the progress, and even have time to grab ledges at the end.
  51. >Kazooie: C’mon, more! You only have the boring ones!
  52. Fine then: Let’s do the Talon Trot.
  53. >She looks at the paper, and frowns.
  54. Kazooie: That looks awful.
  55. C’mon, if someone wrote it down, it can’t be too bad.
  56. >Kazooie glares at you, and disappears in your pack.
  57. >You crouch down for her, and she springs out of the pack, her legs coming out of two holes in the bottom in the pack.
  58. >Weird, you didn’t see the holes before, but they were in plain view now.
  59. Kazooie: Huh, actually, you aren’t that heavy Aanon.
  60. >She doesn’t look like she was running at her full potential, but nonetheless, she could still run faster than you amazingly.
  61. >Fluttershy and Twilight just keep watching in amazement at what you two could do.
  62. Twi: Fluttershy?
  63. Flutter: Yes?
  64. Twi: Are you sure you’re ok with Aanon staying at your house? I’d be more than happy to find them-
  65. Flutter: That’s ok Twilight. I.. really don’t mind it at all.. Besides, I have plenty of birdseed for Kazooie anyway..
  66. Twi: *sigh.. If it’s ok with you then..
  67. >After a while of Talon Trotting, Kazooie was worn out.
  68. >Kazooie: Okay *cough* next *wheeze* ..
  69. >You open the notebook again.
  70. Hmm..
  71. >It looked like.. attack moves. And there were a lot of them.
  72. Attack moves? Why would we need-
  73. Kazooie: Alright! What’s the first one? .. Beak Barge attack?
  74. >Amazingly, almost all of the attacks were centered around Kazooie’s beak.
  75. Beak Barge was a fun one, or at least you thought so. Kazooie would come out of your backpack, and give you enough momentum for you to slide her beak into people.
  76. Ok.. Beak Buster next.
  77. >You both gulp. It involved both of you flipping upside down, and smashing into the floor.
  78. Umm.. we can skip this one.
  79. Kazooie: Agreed..
  80. Twi: Wait! You can’t just do that!
  81. Kazooie: Watch us.
  82. Twi: But you don’t have to worry! My magic will protect the both of you from it.
  83. I don’t know Twilight.. I could break my neck.
  84. Twi: Just.. Trust me Aanon.
  85. >Kazooie shrugs.
  86. Kazooie: I’m down with it Aanon.
  87.
  88. >You close your eyes, and jump.
  89. >Kazooie helps you with turning upside down, and you both smash into the ground, leaving a sizable dent.
  90. >Wow. You felt nothing from that, which really just scared you.
  91. >The Bill Drill was just the same, except Kazooie would twist her beak in effect, which made a much bigger hole than the first.
  92. >Kazooie could also just come out of your backpack and peck people, which she had shown you before, and she could also help you by wrapping your wings around you when you do a summersault, effortlessly rolling into people.
  93. >You just hoped you wouldn’t have to use these things.
  94. Alright next.. Egg Firing.
  95. Kazooie: What?! How is this even possible?!
  96. >Apparantly, Kazooie had several different types of eggs in her: normal, fire, grenade, ice, and some kind of remote controlled one, called a clockwork egg
  97. >She could barf them out, or even.. gross.
  98. Kazooie gave it a couple of trys anyway, even enjoying the grenade and clockwork ones.
  99. Okay, enough Kazooie.
  100. >She had started a small fire, and a bunch of holes in the ground with the eggs.
  101. >Twilight was busy thawing Fluttershy out, which had really gotten to you.
  102. >She was okay, but shivered uncontrollably for a while after.
  103. C’mon Kazooie, let’s finish this list and go home.
  104. >Fluttershy blushes furiously, but you didn’t quite catch it.
  105. Kazooie: Ok, Ok..
  106. >You look at the next one.
  107. >And freeze.
  108. >Wonderwing let you completely invulnerable for a while, emitting gold sparks in the process.
  109. >Just like in your dream..
  110. Kazooie: Oh, that looks fun!.
  111. >She wraps her wings over you, and tenses up a little.
  112. >Sure enough, gold sparks were flying all around you.
  113. >You could feel new adrenaline, crazy adrenaline running through you like a faucet.
  114. >It felt like forever, but all of a sudden Kazooie stopped
  115. Kazooie: Hey.. What happened?
  116. Twi: Oh, sorry. It just drains a lot of magic.. you probably won’t be able to do that one much..
  117. It won’t affect the other moves, will it?
  118. Twi: Oh no, the magic holding the others together isn’t as much as that. You should be fine.
  119. >You should be fine. You didn’t like the sound of that.
  120. >Kazooie: Well, only one move left then.
  121. What?
  122. >Kazooie grins.
  123.
  124. >This was insane.
  125. >Just way too insane.
  126. You really want me to?
  127. >Kazooie nods, grinning.
  128. >You make sure the backpack was secure on your back.
  129. >You get into position, and Kazooie springs the two of you up, red sparks showering from the both of you.
  130. >The straps on your pack flex at a scary angle, but hold firm.
  131. >From what Twilight explained, you would only be able to do a few times a day before the magic wore off.
  132. >It didn’t really matter though since you could just go to Twilight for a refill. That and you didn’t want to be doing this a lot.
  133. >Kazooie flapped effortlessly, the wind blowing into your face. The straps would bounce you up and down, but very little.
  134. >You had to admit it, it felt pretty nice to be up in the air. However, you still would rather be on the ground.
  135. >Luckily, the magic only affected the lift off, so you didn’t have to worry about falling to your death.
  136. >Kazooie and you loved it in the air. You both swerved around the clouds, darting back and forth, having a good-
  137. WHOOSH!
  138. >A familiar blue blur went just feet from hitting you, causing you to start to spin out of control.
  139. >For a scary second, you thought you lost control, but with Kazooie’s help, you managed to level out again.
  140. Dash: What the?!
  141. >It was Rainbow Dash alright, and she was shocked.
  142. Kazooie: Hey! Watch where you’re flying!
  143. >Dash ignores Kazooie, and looks straight to you.
  144. Dash: Are you nuts man!? How is she even carrying you?!
  145. >You were starting to like her less and less.
  146. To put it simple, magic.
  147. >Disbelief is shown on Dash’s face.
  148. >She starts laughing again.
  149. Dash: Oh, it just gets stranger with you two, doesn’t it?
  150. Kazooie: Buzz off.
  151. Dash: Make me.
  152. Kazooie: Ok.
  153. >Before you could even register what she meant, Kazooie fired eggs at Rainbow dash.
  154. >One of them hits her right in the face.
  155. Dash: What!? Ouch! Quit it!
  156. >It successfully makes her dart away.
  157. Kazooie!
  158. Kazooie: What? She deserved it.
  159. Dash: This isn’t over Aanon!
  160. >What did you do?
  161. *sigh*
  162. Kazooie: Anyway, let’s try the last attack.
  163. Which.. Oh no..
  164. >Out of all off them, the Beak Bomb scared you the most.
  165. >But you get into position anyway, willing to try it out. You both scrunch together into a ball, then rocket out. You both shoot forward like a spring, shooting red sparks out, Kazooie even losing a couple feathers. The cold wind slapped against your face as you suddenly halted, Kazooie losing a couple feet in height.
  166. Kazooie: Wow! That was.. Amazing.
  167.
  168. >You really liked it too, but you did wish that you could just return to the ground.
  169. Ok Kazooie, that’s enough, please let me down not.
  170. Kazooie: .. Fine..
  171. >You could tell she was getting worn out anyways. Her breathing had become heavier, and her flapping had slowed down.
  172. >She started to grunt as she finally got a safe distance to the ground, and let you upright again, softly hitting the ground with your feet.
  173. Kazooie: Ok, I’m pooped..
  174. >Kazooie goes back into your pack, and you notice Twilight and Fluttershy.
  175. >They were both open-mouthed, staring at the two of you.
  176. Flutter: Wow Aanon.. That was..
  177. Twi: .. Well, it looks like the spell was a success! I say we call it a day..
  178. Yeah, good idea Twilight.
  179. >You were a little tired out too. Not really from the exercise, but from the mental stress.
  180. >You can hear a few gentle snores from Kazooie in the pack.
  181. >You could finish the list tomorrow.
  182. >The sun was starting to set anyway, so you should probably rest.
  183. >First though, hunger sets in.
  184. >Both of them notice you clutch your stomach, and Twilight beams.
  185. Twi: Seems like you need some dinner Aanon! If you and Fluttershy come to my house, I would be more than glad to make some dinner for all of us.
  186. >You really didn’t feel like hay and apples again. You felt like you wanted something.. heavier. You couldn’t really put your hand on it though.
  187. Uhh… sure Twilight.
  188. >It’s not like you had much of a choice anyway.
  189. >Twilight beams at you, and waves you to the direction of her home, and you, Kazooie, Fluttershy, and her walk back to town, hoping for a good meal.
  190.
  191.
  192.
  193.
  194. >It was dark in the Everfree forest.
  195. >Few of the townsponies would ever dare set foot into it.
  196. >Except one particular zebra.
  197. >She visited the town often, and many of the townsfolk loved her, especially for her many remedies and potions.
  198. >She lived only a mile or so inside the forest, but it was enough to keep must people away from her.
  199. >She came from a faraway place, the stresses of life showing deep creases in her fur as she boils away at her newest potion.
  200. THUMP!
  201. >A lound bang shot throughout the forest, scaring away even some of the big monsters that lurked inside it.
  202. >Zecora stopped what she was doing.
  203. >Nothing could make that big of a noise.
  204. Zecora: Who goes there? Be it a bear?
  205. >Suddenly, a strange green fog filled the room.
  206. >It was ice cold in Zecora’s house now, and the fumes made her sick.
  207. >Coughing and sputtering, Zecora collapsed, passing out.
  208. >A strange, figure stepped into the room
  209. >Or rather hopped in, what was left of it.
  210. >She had a rather bony head, red eyes, and patches of hair that remained.
  211. “Yes, this place will do just great!”
  212. >She hopped over to the knocked out Zecora.
  213. “I've won the lottery! Look at this body!"
  214. "It'll do great to except this fate!"
  215. >Deep, dark laughter comes from the head, filling the entire forest with her voice.
  216. EYEYEHEHAHAHAAHAAAAAA
