  123. Odessa, formerly known as USS Denton, was an Austin-class heavy cruiser captured by the Soviets during the 3rd World War. While the heavy cruiser had been scuttled, and as a result was partially capsized, after she was refloated, Soviet engineers were able to not only scrounge together enough parts to bring one of her gun turrets back into operation, but also to convert the guns to use old ammunition for the heavy cruiser Petropavlovsk (formerly the German heavy cruiser Lutzow). In addition to her 8" guns, the newly christened Odessa was armed with 13 cm secondary guns, pulled from a number of damaged and otherwise irreparable destroyers, as well as a number of old 45mm autocannons as a form of CIWS, in lieu of the soon to enter service AK-630 system. To give the Odessa a fighting chance of sinking one of her American sister ships in a fight, despite the lack of two of the gun turrets she had been originally fitted with, she was also armed with 24 P-500 Bazalt anti-ship missiles, as well as M-11 Shtorm surface to air missile launchers.
