Robin Backstory

Born the bastard child of minor nobility, Robin was taken from his birthplace to live a more common life, working under the watchful eye of a Dwarven innkeeper in a small town. Robin was taught the arts of cooking and hunting, and given a good if not basic education that not many could afford, due to his adoptive father's connections to adventurers across the land.

As Robin grew older, there was talk of him inheriting the inn and continuing his new family's business, but as political powers in the region shifted and continued to play their games, the balance of power changed for the worse, putting into office a despot that changed the lives of the common folk for the worse, heavily taxing them beyond many's ability. Seeking to change this, Robin decided his new calling would be to find a way to change this, but to do so, he knew he needed to garner both coin and renown enough to gain a standing within the land.

With his adopted father's blessing, he took what supplies he could, his trusty crossbow, and anything else his father's adventurer friends could provide, and set off to find some great adventure to gather the influence he needed to end the people's plight for good.
