Q. What do you play on this channel?

A: I speedrun and casually play games, from the obscure to the more well known. My bread and butter on this stream has been horror and stealth, but I'm not one to pigeonhole myself. My stream sticks to single player, but I sometimes have guests on to play games together.

Q: Where did the name come from?

A: Back in 2008, I was trying to figure out what to use as an Xbox Live Gamertag. With the help of my brother who was good at names, I named myself Plywood Cow after the plywood cow in Team Fortress 2's map 2Fort. Q: Any tips on getting into speedrunning, routing, etc.?

A: My quick take on this

1. Play a game you are comfortable with playing a lot
2. Play a game you think you can play, not all speedruns/genres are for everyone
3. Set aside the time to do it
4. Get ready to fail in order to succeed
5. Have patience or cultivate it
6. Find a community around the game, chances are there are people that can help you
7. Life is short, have fun
8. Try everything you can, you may be surprised with the results
9. Pick a shorter game, rather than a longer game

Q: Why do you sometimes not stream with facecam?

A: Sometimes the lighting makes my room way too hot. I'd rather feel comfortable playing games, y'know? Other days I just don't feel like it, or feel it's distracting.

Q: Do you have a schedule?

A: Sorry, but there is no set schedule for my stream (yet). When I stream I tend to do so later in the evening, Central Standard Time.

A: Probably not, unless I genuinely have interest in the game. Even some games I enjoy are unlikely candidates, due to factors like strategies, the content of the run, length, style of play, etc.

Silent Hill 1:

Why is there a big difference between world record and your time?

There isn't, it's just the difference between real time and in game time. In game time in Silent Hill 1 does not count load times, cinematics, and other points where you lose control. It counts time in the inventory, the pause screen, when you choose between a yes or no prompt, and while you are in control of Harry. That's why there is a ~20 minute difference between RTA and IGT.

Metal Gear Solid:

How are you not taking damage?

God Mode Exploit (GME) - a trick on the PC that allows me to become invincible to most forms of damage. By pressing 0 then 9 (or any other weapon hotkey) in quick succession, I interrupt the animation of going into the PSG-1 scope and enter the state. This exploit also allows me to break loading triggers to new areas, and go out of bounds.

What are you doing with that door?

By quickly moving up and down, we can trick the game into thinking we entered the hallway, but we stay in the cellar. We avoid the animation of opening the door, and break the doorway. By doing this you can skip cycles/loops in the game. This is the glitch that allows any% to be minutes faster than glitchless.

Why are you saying Jack?

I need to say Jack into the PS4 microphone, it causes one of three baby cries. This is needed to solve the final puzzle. It is the 'key' word.
