[19:15] The demon gathered those who it thought would benefit the most from learning the arts passed on through demons. Most mortals who dabbled in the occult had some semblance of knowledge that its origins manifested through contracts with demons until it eventually became an inherit connection of a soul tainted by foul magic.

As Ra'Kamel marched those who were interested in the tainted rituals used by his kin he brought them to the wide open tundra's where they could train and master their own unique forms of magic unbothered from others.

" Now lets all be clear on something before we begin. "The demon turned to face his students Zariel especially since he had wanted this training from the begging. " Occultism is not the same magic as Demonic Magics. Occultism draws upon the magics used by mortals corruption the instability within their minds that makes them unworthy of wielding true mastery of Demonic power and thus a lesser variation is created. Despite that some mortals are able to draw immense power from such magic but it is not the same."


" Demons are creatures without the capability to feel emotions nor empathy thus if we were to define occultism in the same way it would be impossible for demons to utilize it seeing as their emotions do not exist beyond instinct. What separates us from you all is that we have absolutely no inhibition in killing when we channel our magic it is for the soul purpose to claim life without any mercy. Thus it is the major difference in our mentality that we channel separate magics."

"You're already quite skilled in utilizing this magic Zariel at the very least on the mortal level. If you wish to bring forth the power of a demon you must however disconnect yourself from humanity, from morality and from emotion. " The demon would leave it at that for now allowing Zariel to get a handle of the words he spoke.

[19:22] Zariel listened intently to Ra's lecture. He knew that the demon had done quite the amount of research on various topics, with this one as a possible strong suit do to them being a demon themselves.. There was a lot to take in but Zariel was willing to break it down and comprehend every little bit of information.

"So you're saying that Mortals use a less refined version of occult magic, essentially.

And things like morality, emotions and humanity is what keeps us from utilizing occult's full power, or in your case, obtaining true mastery of demonic magic..

What exactly is the difference, other than how it's utilized, is demonic magic stronger? Does hold the same nature as mortal occult magic?"

It seemed that he understood the topic enough to ask questions, that was a good start.. "This is interesting however, this entire time, even my own magic has been shackled down without my knowing.. How emberassing.."

[19:34] " You're only capable of so much with a mortal soul. Although It would be interesting to see you master forms of Demonic magic like my own it would place far too much burden on your soul. Coraline is the perfect example of this. I've seen you both spar before and I'm sure many of her techniques with occultism are foreign to you. " The demon would make a slight gesture in Corallines direction seeing as it mentioned her before continuing.

" Then even still her soul is mortal the mutations she exhibits is because of her soul slowly being devoured by the magic she invokes showing the demonic traits of the magic she channels. Thus the major difference of demonic magic compared to Occultism is to turn that affliction onto others. To instead cause their soul to hemorrhage and their lifeforce to decay until it is devoured by the very magics you conjure. " the demon settled into the snow adjusting his gaze onto Zariel.

" What you need from me is not training in a battle you've more or less proven you're capable of high intensity combat however to learn this variation of magic you must instead work on what makes your soul human what makes you mortal and decide for yourself if those are worthy to sacrifice to gain power close to a demons. Accursed are fated to devour, Themselves and others with the magics they employ although there is no such thing as salvation for a tainted soul like that they gain immense power that can only be rivaled by few." As the demons lecture ended it turned towards the boy and placing one of its claws onto his forehead.

Power he felt slept within him was indeed there and it felt a familiar semblance to the demonic magic his kin used." it seems something sleeps within you still something of my kind that is not just Entropy's mark. Something unique to yourself it seems. Do you know what it is yet? Or perhaps you have not yet sacrificed what is needed to wield it as a weapon. "

[19:45] The cold and icy breeze of the mountains flowed passed the group as Ra continued with his lecture and Zariel made mental note of everything they said..

However, things got a bit more interesting when Ra placed a finger on the man's forehead. Whatever the kaor had done, it caused Zariel's mark to glow an eerie purple..

"Something unique to me?" This statement caused Zariel to look at his right arm. It resembled that of an accursed appendage but in truth it was supposed to be his replacement catalyst, the vessel that contained and channeled his occult magic..

Something he had little knowledge about himself.. "Perhaps this is what you mean.." He'd say, gesturing his right arm forward.

"My arm, this weapon was a gift from my brother. You must be talking about that, I'm sure I still have room to grow but as for untapped potential, this is all that remains.."

[19:58] The Arm was examined it for a moment and while it did contain strange magics the Demon could not determine for certain if that was the cause." I'm not exactly sure where the source is coming from but If you complete your transformation or some how gain the strength to access what's locked away from you then it could very well be. " The demon did have a few -ideas- on how exactly he could Alter the emotional state of a mortal after all they were all so easily manipulated when they wanted power.

" I cannot help you to control your power beyond what I've explained prior. You must sacrifice all those chains that hold you back in order to become a true master of Demonic magic. But I can create a catalyst within you to help the process along. " The demon would move closer towards the boy seeing if he would again accept his help in this matter.

" My special Variation of Demonic Occultism that I have been developing is a unique one to say the least. It has the power to Zero out or Nullify any existing creation of magic. Its why I have refined my metallic body into Cold Iron. The substance on this realm capable of distorting and absorbing mana at a great amount. If I where to lower your mana source to a deathly low amount and inflict my Curse upon you then perhaps you'll gain the results you need to abolish your chains or a the very least weaken them. " The demon would settle a few paces over Zariel wondering if the man was truly ready to make a sacrifice of this scale it could very well risk his death or perhaps end in his body devoid of mana entirely. Or perhaps worst for a mortal being without any sense of morality rationality or logic. A being of pure chaotic influence which drives it only to kill and slaughter. Such were the accursed creatures after all.

" The choice is yours to decide but do not make such a wager lightly if you put your life at risk only you will be able to save yourself. Either you sacrifice the emotions you've gathered in your life thus far to gain more power or you hesitate and lose everything including your life. What will you decide? "

[20:12] So not even Ra' knew, that was fine since there was always time to figure such out. The fact that Zariel still had dormant power was baffling indeed, perhaps terrifying to some as well..

Was he truly ready to forsake what he had left, the remaining ties and bonds that he had with his past and people from it. His friends...

Were they all truly worth it to sacrifice? Of course they were, Zariel had not forgotten the decision he made when he settled here.

"I made a decision when I came here, when I freed myself from the first set of shackles..

I haven't forgotten, there is no going back. The least I can do is cull the part of me that might regret this in the future.. Come, let us transcend my mortality...

Erase, my humanity and demonic mastery will be mine to wield." Zariel said before posturing himself, readying his mind and body for whatever was to happen next.

[20:22] The demon nodded moving closer to the man Demonic magics began to swell around the massive Kaor as the occultic ritual took place. First the Kaor spread its magic runes across the area like black tar it oozed from its body quickly enveloping the two in the center of a runic ritual circle.

Two Shadowlings were called from the void and quickly took the shape of a Tera and Mega demon holding down Zariel and ripping open his shirt to expose his bare chest. As the task was done the Kaor would move forth to mark the boy with his runes.

" I am not the one you pact with so I can only do so much even with this. If you become too unconformable I will have to put you down myself. Its why I called Coraline and the others here with me. " The demon was pretty frank no emotional connection or empathy felt if that ended up becoming the conclusion of Zariel's story. Yet there was some small wanting for Zariel for himself thinking of how many acolytes Entropy had collected over their time here made the Demon quite envious of the Archon but there was nothing it could do at its level beyond ascend.

Placing its claws onto the mans chest he would soon feel the unrivaled pull of his mana from the cold Iron suit of armor Ra'Kamel boasted as his body. Almost as if his body was being separated from its being pulled out from his container only for the drain to be stronger and stronger no matter how much he screamed or suffered it would continue as long as Ra'Kamel kept his contact up.

And as the man howled in pain the demon would move to activate its curse nullifying all emotion within him in one fell swoop no longer did he possess any mana to resist the effects and with one unconscious activation his mind would be dulled out blank. Ra'Kamel waited to see how the effects would take upon him whether or not he had to stop a rampaging beast or perhaps someone who has found within themselves the power to become more.
" Be reborn as something greater...Now show me your truth Zariel. "

20:41] Zariel took a deep breathe as the shadowlings ripped his high quality threads, knocking off his osprey emblem that was engraved with a memorial of one of his good friends..

Then it began, Zariel's very essence began to be pulled away from his being. Naturally his mana would fight back the same way a man's immune system fought off disease..

However, it was a losing battle as Zariel didn't nothing to resist it's literal, pull.. The pain was unlike any other, not in it's intensity but in it's sensation.

Zariel had never once been at deaths door but this was close to it.. The sensation was like his body was on fire while he drowned at the same time and the longer his vessel went without a soul to hold it firm.. His arms and legs went limp and his flight began to fail him as Ra' imbued Zariel with his curse..

One that devoured the majority of his emotions and morality, leaving scraps of damaged emotions and a warped morality..

Though it wasn't a complete success, concepts like right and wrong, the bonds of friendship, so and so forth were just that. They were bought concepts to be taken advantage of. Tools to grow and solidify one's position and rank in this realm and nothing more..

"This feels... Strange.." Zariel said as he opened his eyes, revealing a destroyed landscape to his bewildered, two-toned sienna hues..

Has the curse rooted itself within Zariel, his occult magic was unshackled from the constant, unconscious tempering of it. What had been domesticated before lashed out at everything around it, siphoning life, upheaving the snowy ground from the earth and pulsating violent gusts of phantoms wind..

"I feel lighter, as if my mind was emptied of waste and optimized.. This feels more, natural.." His tone was without emotion for the most part while his demeanor and expression obviously displaced that he was quite pleased with such changes..

[20:43] Coraline Invidia II says, "<What does it mean.. that I am killing my own humanity? If Ra could've done this..?>"
[20:57] Ra'Kamel's expression remained neutral as it watched the man struggle and falter. After the curse was applied his eyes finally opened wide to the truth of this reality. Perhaps even more so than others.

" Your soul still fluctuate between returning back to humanity and forming true allegiance with your spark of demonic energy. This balancing act will keep up for perhaps the rest of you life until you've decided which one you'll feed." The demon made a gesture towards the mans Arm that had already shown some signs of mutations.

" Whatever it is it calls demonic essences to it. Gather your power and inflict harm with it. Feed the demon that begins to form within you. feed the negative sensations that begin to vibrate in your core and when you have finished the pact with the Archon then you should be primed and prepared to manifest Demonic Magic,but for now practice by draining life force from any source possible that should be enough. Probably. " It wasn't as if Ra'Kamel was privy to all the information required to create an Accursed after all what he knew was more or less hearsay and rumors. Second hand information he had gotten from books and the whispers the archons amongst themselves.

Yet it would not impede him from learning of the rituals and experimenting on the oh so worthy spawn of the other Archons even if it did upset them to some degree."I believe that is the most I can do for you at this time.. " The demon ejected its wings and began to soar into the sky. Looking towards Zariel wondering how his little experiment would turn out yet he didn't feel he did enough with his power there was still much for him to train and decide how best to manifest his abilites. Yet his control and capabilities to wipe out the essences of magic within mortals had grown to an excellent level so far. All that was required was time.
