His Blindly Radiance

[20:15] Knights, Knights. Knight? The blonde Knight, a wielder of light magic. Yet this wasn't sure, instead another blonde Knight, the Radiant himself claiming victory of a demon whom they didn't know. Ocean hues watched, waiting as the battle concluded, their lips curled into a smile. What strength, though bits and pieces of it was gleamed from a distance.

Their trident remained drawn, resting at their sound- The seas stirred and roared.

"Is that you~ Mister Radiant?" Speaking in a soft tone, they drew closer. The knowledge of one another was likely one sided unless he paid close attention to Therian affairs. Perhaps a familiar green haired individual yet not known.

"Demons are hungry, are they not? I've been robbed of a battle and I'm mad-" Though they bore a smile. Their trident rose and danced between their fingers, the waves grew, and grew in sound yet they weren't near the shore.

"Mad and eager. Do you wish to tread in my seas?" That smile faded, their hues narrowed on the man. He should control those below him because their anger trailed up and up and up.

[20:20] A gash from clawed talons that tore into his armor and left him bloodied. Multiple occultic burns that riddled up along his form, and the wear and tear of a long night spent fighting the enemy. The knight-radiant certainly wasn't in his best form, but the look in his eyes - the way his green irises lit up like freshly cut emeralds, told Lukas that he was another obstacle in the man's way.

All to reach the spire central to the island, where the treasure the demons sought waited.

Or perhaps this challenger was something more.

Both hands were firm around the silver handle of Caledlwch, and the holy-lit edge of the weapon was angled towards his mark, meeting the trident that was pointed at him prior. With a slight, confident smile, Elijah simply nodded his head, "... It is me, but I can't say I've had the pleasure of making your acquiantance. No matter."

"If you stand against us... if you stand against humanity, then that is all I need to know. Prepare."

[20:26] The shroud of flowing holy light urged him onwards and as soon as the edge of his blade was flashed to Lukas, it is then that the distance between them closed. In the space of a second, the knight-radiant turned to shimmering silver and gold, leaving a trail of holy magic behind him as he swerved directly towards his mark and brought Caledlwch against armor and flesh.

The blade always struck at the magical circuit directly rather than skin. It never bled. It attacked their spirit, rather than their body.

Lukas would soon learn that he was utterly outclassed, and this was not a battle that would last long. "I do not intend to fall," he half-whispered, a faint glow everpresent against his skin and his smile, "So many have, it seems, and so I need to carry on. One foot in front of the other. Get out of my way."

[20:32] Many times have they picked fights with those stronger than them. Those more skilled. But this? This was absolutely ridiculous. The Radiant moved at an inhuman speed. Within the span of them blinking he was already upon them, blade hitting against their body.

Quickly, they went to stop the bleeding-- The bleeding? They weren't yet they hurt in ways they couldn't explain. Lukas jumped back. Distance. They could not afford to be close to this man. Their breath became uneven yet their waters did not. They stood their ground against all odds.

"I'll be in your way-- Like a thorn at your side."

They had a few things against Elijah. Things they've heard. Things that made them angry. Yet, they didn't the man. That anger was always brief but his strength angered them the most.

Those waters came once more, full force.

It was like being stuck at sea, and he needed to find land as soon as possible - the twisting and turning of oceanic structures around him was a cage he cleaved through, where he soon finds Lukas, direct and in the man's face. With the ends of his blode hair being lifted up a motion too quick to see, Elijah pierced into the water magi...

A flash of silver and gold, burning those who looked too closely. One moment he was in front of Lukas, and the next he was several meters behind him. His shoulder had been impaled in the exchange, breaking the magical circuits in the region and leaving a web of light in its wake.

The challenger was done for, and there wasn't the time or the resources to take prisoners. Elijah continued onward, right to the center of the island where the stone spire awaited.
