  1. An open letter to the hacker
  2.
  3. Fuck you. I'm sick and tired of the cat and mouse game you play with the sub. I get it, you target vendors who either show potential to be big, are already big and making loads of money, or have obvious exploits in their websites. Many vendors are here to make a living capitalizing on a higher drinking age in the US and are not codemonkeys and hire devs to code their websites. I have no moral objections to this. You know what I do have a moral objection to?
  4.
  5. You. You and your lying, double crossing antics towards vendors and customers. You also have a weird hard on for me. Maybe it's cause I bite back, maybe it's cause I'm already dealing with business issues, maybe it's cause I hired a shitty fuckin dev to write my website. (bought, I like you as a person, but your sites suck and now I'm having to do way too much damage control as a result)
  6.
  7. You got into my website last night, deleted all my orders and demanded $5k for the orders back. Easy solution? Exit scam. Give up. This has been a crazy stressful month already. Why not just quit? You even told me I should.
  8.
  9. But guess what, I'm still here. I'm not a fucking quitter and if anything, its people like you who keep me in check and motivated to succeed.
  10.
  11. I am not going to pay you. I know the next vendors you plan on targetting and I will do everything in my power to protect them from you.
  12.
  13. You can set up your little websites to dox innocent kids trying to have a drink with their friends. But I will ddos report and attack them in every way I can. I have more money than you. I have more resources than you. I have more people on my team than you.
  14.
  15. You say your incentive is money. You made what, a few hundred bucks from customers paying to save their dox? You and I both know there is far more money to come from extorting vendors. Scannable paid you a huge sum so no one would ever hear about his exploit. You thrive on fear mongering. You don't scare me. You used to, til I realized you're nothing but a little bitch behind a monitor and an unprotected IP address (ya, I found that) targeting kids buying fakes on Reddit. Pretty sad, huh? No one on this sub should be afraid of you. Even if he's threatening things, know he gets nothing from it. He needs your fear and vendors' money to thrive. I will ensure he never receives another dime from a vendor, and I need everyone to realize that he's nothing. You give him the power.
  16.
  17. I got my orders back, you only got into my backend page. Not my actual server. So anything you did literally had 0 effect on my website. Again, nice fear mongering.
  18.
  19. Let me repeat to you:
  20.
  21. I have more money, more resources, and more people behind me than you ever will here. Do what you want. I'll take it down.
  22.
  23. To customers:
  24.
  25. Yes, he did get my orders. I am not sure the extent of the information he has (pics, sigs, addresses) but it is safe to assume the worst. However, I urge no one to pay him or allow his petty fear campaign to get to you. He will probably come out and say "Oh well phantom says its not bad, hardy har har LOL im gunna call ur parents" Dont buy into it. His intention is to get vendors to pay him thousands, not to release any information. If he were to dump all his info he loses all power.
  26.
  27. To moderators:
  28.
  29. You can take me off the VVL for hiring a bad dev, sure. I didn't know the shitshow bought would have caused me when I originally hired him. I understand it's not cool that this happened but we live and learn and I will continue to deliver whatever your thoughts on this are. I'm not going to hide and act like this never happened or that guys like this hacker don't exist. I will remain professional about my business but I don't want to support this hackers fear campaign against the sub. We can end it.
  30.
  31. To vendors:
  32.
  33. I am now working with /u/MDMAzinglytrippy who I must say is probably the most professional and knowedgable web dev I have ever worked with. He helped plug holes no one has ever seen in my site. We're making a new site as we speak, Bought's code was a giant fucking mess. I know who else Bought made sites for and have reached out to them to fix the issues they most likely have as well. I recommend getting an entire new site made from a proven dev if its within your budget.
