First thing is I find it funny that your sun/moon is Cancer/Scorpio and his is Scorpio/Cancer?! Scorpio and Cancer are both water signs with good affinity since cancers tend to internalize things and so do Scorpios, just for different reasons and different ways.


Past Prince of Swords: Usually when I pull cards, I take on the total meaning and weave something based on it. However, this card was upside down which is a first for me. So, I’m gonna focus on the upside down meaning as the focus.

Based off this, you’re really driven to knowing this person and forming a dynamic with him. It may have felt of come off a little rash and not gotten anywhere, leaving you frustrated and pondering what anything means. You’re on a mission to figure everything out to know if you’re meant to be with him, and it feels like you’re hitting a wall because of many circumstances--the environment, other responsibilities, and maybe even schedules. You’re going so fast, jumping at all sort of possibilities and wanting to know so much that it’s making you more and more frustrated.

Present 9 of Cups: At this present moment, perhaps it’s a good idea to look into yourself and think about what you really want. Many people want relationships for the simple sake of relationships, whether or not there’s a dynamic between you and him. Is there something about him that you really are interested in or is it because of some other pressure? Whatever is up to you, but at the present, it’s a good idea to think about what you already have and be grateful for it.

That sticky truth being said, I honestly feel, based off this, that something good is up. Between the fact that you have this interesting horoscope thing going on and this card, really specifies something presently. I don’t know what your current relationship is like with him, if you’re just friends or passer-byes. But, either way--there’s already something kind of there in that dynamic, whether it’s been there as a friendship or as an interest between you both. If not, there’s a potential for it as long as you kind of take it a bit easier and come to appreciate what you have presently and be confident who you are right now. Honestly, something is going right as long as you take it slower and live in the present a bit more!

Future 8 of Wands: This was upside down. Once again, be careful. Slow down. Don’t drive yourself crazy at possibilities. Be in the flow. Like I wrote above, there should be something there, but appreciate it for what it is and yearn to cultivate it, not drown it with over-persistence. That doesn’t mean to be fully passive, just be mindful about your actions and the amounts of energy you put into them. I’m sure that something is there in your dynamic, but let it do its own thing and don’t worry so much about it. You’ll find yourself less anxious and more happy to spend time with him (if you’re on face-to-face basis, if not then let things do it’s things and not overly press to get to know him more) to understand that dynamic.
