  24.
  25. Collectibles Helper lets you set quest markers over collectible items such as bobbleheads and magazines.
  26. Use the MCM menu to control which quest markers you would like to display on the map in your Pip-Boy and
  27. toggle the Collectibles Helper quest on to display them on your map.
  28.
  29. Key Features:
  30.
  31. * Show Quest Markers: Puts a quest marker over collectibles items that you want to see a marker for. You can
  32. toggle quest markers for bobbleheads, specific magazines such as La Coiffe or Grognak The Barbarian and so
  33. on. When you show quest markers for collectibles it'll add a new quest into your Pip-Boy called Collectibles
  34. Helper. Make sure this quest is active if you want to see the map markers on your map.
  35.
  36. * Automatic Transfer: Includes a function to simply transfer all collectibles into your inventory, such as all
  37. issues of Guns And Bullets or Nuka Cola Recipes. You will be notified of any collectibles that failed to be
  38. collected (e.g.: Guns And Bullets issue #8 only spawns in after the Brotherhood of Steel reinforcements
  39. arrive).
  40.
  41. * DLC Support: Supports collectibles from the DLC, such as Islander's Almanac from Far Harbor, or Star Cores
  42. from Nuka World.

  73.
  74. Collectibles Helper includes an MCM that allows you to toggle which quest objectives to show or which items to
  75. automatically transfer into your inventory. You will need F4SE (https://f4se.silverlock.org/) and
  76. MCM (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21497) in order to use the MCM menu that this mod comes with.
  77.
  78. Quest Markers can be toggled for the following base game collectibles:
  79. - Bobbleheads
  80. - Astoundingly Awesome Tales
  81. - Grognak The Barbarian
  82. - Guns and Bullets (Issue #8 only obtainable from the Cambridge Police Station after BoS reinforcements arrive.)
  83. - Live and Love
  84. - Massachusetts Surgical Journal
  85. - Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor
  86. - Tesla Science Magazine
  87. - Tumblers Today
  88. - U.S. Covert Operations Manual
  89. - Unstoppables
  90. - Wasteland Survival Guide
  91. - Hot Rodder
  92. - La Coiffe
  93. - Picket Fences
  94. - RobCo Fun
  95. - Taboo Tattoos
  96. - Total Hack
  97. - You're S.P.E.C.I.A.L.!
  98.
  99. Quest Markers can be toggled for the following Far Harbor collectibles:
  100. - Islander's Almanac
  101.
  102. Quest Markers can be toggled for the following Nuka World collectibles:
  103. - SCAV!
  104. - Nuka Cola Recipes
  105. - Star Cores
  106.
  107. With the exception of the Star Cores from Nuka World, these items can be automatically transferred into your
  108. inventory by clicking on the corresponding button in the MCM.
  109.
  110. Quest Markers will only be placed on the original object references, not on duplicates that may be generated
  111. when a location respawns so please keep that in mind.

  119.
  120. 1.0.0 - Initial Release.
  121.
  122. 1.0.1 - Disabled quest markers for collectibles in the player's inventory.
  123. - Cleaned the mod with FO4Edit. Somehow forgot to do this yesterday.
  124.
  125. 1.0.2 - Fixed the XPRI header corruption issue.
  126. - Should no longer need a separate patch for UFO4P compatibility.
  127.
  128. A huge thanks to BenRierimanu for fixing these issues!
  129.
  130. 1.0.3 - Fixed the <nullptr> errors in the papyrus log.
  131.

  136.

  138.
  139. Q. Is this ESL flagged?
  140. A. Yes.
  141.
  142. Q. I don't see an MCM menu!
  143. A. Ensure you've installed F4SE and MCM and have put the config.json file under
  144. Data\MCM\Config\Collectibles Helper.
  145.
  146. Q. I've enabled quest markers for a type of collectible, but I don't see any on my map.
  147. A. Ensure the Collectibles Helper quest is enabled in your Pip-Boy. Also keep in mind that the game engine
  148. can only show a limited number of quest markers at a time. You may need to toggle off another quest or two.
  149.
  150. Q. I got a message saying 'Unable to transfer...###'.
  151. A. Collectibles that may have been deleted by your game cannot be transferred into your inventory. There's not
  152. really anything I can do to reverse that.
  153. Also note that Guns and Bullets #8 only spawns in at the Cambridge Police Station after the Brotherhood of
  154. Steel reinforcements arrive so it's not possible to transfer it into your inventory or put a quest marker
  155. over it before that happens.
  156.
  157. Q. I came across a collectible, but there's no quest marker over it even though I have quest markers on for
  158. that type of collectible.
  159. A. If the location respawned it may have generated a duplicate. Quest markers can only be shown for the original
  160. collectible reference.
  161.
  162. Q. Aren't there 35 Star Cores? Why am I only seeing 25 quest markers?
  163. A. Star Cores that start off already in the main console aren't given a marker.
