Response to ERIKANTRICE MANIFESTO (LaTeX version)

Sry this is a "short" reaction and I wasn't motivated to use LaTeX as well. I will use \\ to quote you and # to quote from the script. This makes it easier to check because everyone can easily verify it.

I hope that it’s readable. I just randomly saw your document but aren’t active on 4chan, meaning you would have to use reddit for further discussion.

I’m generally interested in reading alternative ways for the story, thus I’m thrilled to see what you came up with.

\\ Kanon and George culprits
Van Dine:

The anime is generally not considered canon. Which also makes your argument weird because you consider the manga not canon because of stuff it shows. Even thought the manga ends with a message from R07 saying that this is the heart of the story. And he also has messages in ep 7 manga where he is listed es supervisor.

\\ All almost similar to Shkanontrice in appearance, but this solution explains why Eva died on her bed.
In ShKantrice Eva and Hideyoshi were bribed making it plausible why they would let in the master mind. And why would they be afraid from a servant anyway?

\\DIFFERENT CULPRITS IN EVERY GAME
ShKantrice has one culprit, and their name is Yasu. Only the accomplices change a bit from game to game.

Episode 2:
I’m wondering what your explanation for Rosa seeing golden butterflies is.

A similar thing would be Genji killing golden butterflies in the kitchen after George, Shannon and Gohda left. And keep in mind that golden butterflies don’t exist, meaning it’s not allowed to just be mistaken about them.

\\Shkanontrice, thanks to Rosa and all the servants as accomplices, solves the mystery again by simply saying that the door was not really closed.
The manga is a bit weird about it. I do not like the visual of, the door just widely being open. I prefer the idea that the door was closed but not locked. Meaning Rosa faked opening it. And because you like small details so much I will show you something.

This is how Rosa tried to open the door.

Van Dine does not apply to Umi. Here just some rules that are clearly broken

\\ Ep 2 chapel trick
I don’t have much to add here, besides that I really like that idea as an alternative way.

\\Kanon killed Jessica, his own personality,
If we go by classical rules this personality should’ve been hinted at or even better already been named. Sayo for example was mentioned in ep 1 in the talk between Shannon and George. And remember that it cannot be Erika or it would break the red, of Erika having no influence on ep 1-4.

\\Rosa forced Genji and Shannon to write a document where Kinzo left everything to her.
Funny idea but doesn’t make this much sense. Rosa is the highest ranking right know and thus would have no reason for that. She has all of it regardless of such an document or not.

\\This is the great contradiction, Genji is a servant so he can't kill anyone according to Van Dine's rules.
The Umi version only says that the culprit cannot be a servant and Genji is just an accomplice. Umi uses other definitions than you but that doesn’t make it wrong.
I agree that Genji killing isn't nice as solution and Yasu killing them is better. This would also work without a problem because Yasu could murder them right before committing suicide in Natsuhi’s room.

\\He put the stake inside Gohda's body but couldn't penetrate Shannon.
Besides the joke, Shannon had a hole in her skull.

Final words about ep 2. You forgot about the letter in the parlor which also needs to be answered. And for a good theory you would also have to answer why Rosa suddenly stated running. All in all, a rather weak solution for ep 2.



\\Hepel’s raven, Schrödinger’s cat
Hepel’s raven isn’t explained good and R07 really fucked up the used symbols. Using a “=” is just very wrong and I hope you don’t do that as well.
Schrödinger’s cat is just the normal pop culture stuff, that’s always getting described wrong.

\\this game people who were innocent on other occasions will become monsters.
Eva acts independent of Yasu in ShKantrice (ep 3) and yes, someone can get murderous with that much money on the line. Just look at ep 7 tea party.

\\Eva and Hideyoshi culprit in ep 3
I honestly don't know why the manga claimed that. But I have to admit that I dislike ep 3 because how messy it is. It does not really add up that well.

\\Nanjo from outside, who pretended to _nd the chapel key on Kinzo
Simply no. This is prohibited by this red.

It's an unstated rule, that every door can be closed from the inside. It sounds contradicting but a similar thing was said in Bern's game.

But that's just one of the contradictions the red has. My favorite contradiction is the first ever red statement.

\\a personality cant be stabbed, so sorry Rosatrice but Rosa cant be the culprit.
Funfact: Rosatrice doesn’t use Rosa in ep 3 after this. Thus this doesn’t break it.

\\Shkanontrice solves this twilight by saying that Hideyoshi shot and killed Kyrie and Rudolf (ep3)
Another weird manga thing. I prefer the idea that Eva shot Rudolf and Kyire. Then Kyrie fired back and killed Hideyoshi.
This is supported by Eva really pushing the group to go outside and seemingly knowing that Hideyoshi might still be alive.

\\she was alive but not only her since Yasu survived too so 2 rifles of the 4 available are broken.
No. Rudolf's rifle was broken and Kyrie grabbed fake bullets in the tea party of ep 7. But there are also some real mixed into them because Kyrie kills Rosa.
Furthermore, there are probably way more rifles in use by the culprit. Just remember the different kind of wounds. Ep 1 to smash the faces, Ep 4 only half the head is remaining or just a normal bullet hole.
\\Ep 3 Natsuhi and Krauss.
Your idea doesn’t work that nicely because George did not go down the stairs. Meaning it’s a weird way to just go around and never use them.

For some reason everyone was very sleepy even thought they were all drinking Eva’s coffee.

Doesn’t that make her into a culprit from your definition. The argument also doesn’t work because for that they have to find Nanjo but they were together when Nanjo died. Meaning, both know that there has to be someone else that’s killing.
And the numbers have nothing to do with solving the epitaph.
And you don’t learn about the bomb by finding the gold, as shown by ep 7 tea party. You also don’t learn about Kuwadorian by finding the gold.



Conclusion. You have absolutely no explanation for any of the magic scenes but claim to explain everything. What is the meaning of Rosa and Eva finding the gold, Virgilia vs Beatrice or the resurrection.

Can you please not spoil other stories. There are people that don’t know this (me for example). It’s not a normal thing to read in school over here.

\\Everything can be solved with EVERYONE IS THE CULPRIT
Yes, it's a boring trick and makes nearly every person a possible culprit here.
But be assured that when only looking at the question arc, nearly everyone can be made into the culprit from everything without breaking any reds. And one doesn’t need this trick that often.

\\ Yasu convinced Eva .... Kyrie .... Rudolf ... to kill
That's no the official solution. Yasu shot everyone them-self and might only got some help from Genji.
I again do not like the Genji idea, but everything can be easily done by only Yasu killing.

\\stupid attempt to explain why Kyrie and Jessica had lied about magic
Kyrie and Jessica lied because they got bribed/threatened or were part of a prank. Take the one you like the most or a mixture.

\\Destiny Roulette, served by Kumasawa, killed Eva, Hideyoshi, Rudolf, Natsuhi then put Kyrie and Krauss to sleep.
Doesn’t that make Kumasawa to a culprit, according to your definition.

\\At the well Genji forced Kanon and Shannon to throw Krauss and Kyrie into the well
\\Group break out of the prison and all 4 members, except Kanon, climbed the ladder and exited from the well.

The well cannot be opened like you said. Battler search for anything but found nothing and because he’s the detective we can assume it to be impossible.

Regarding the magic. You haven't explaint any magic between waking up in the dungeon and getting shot in the well. Just some of the things you would have to explain, if you want to meet your claims:
Kanon's magical blade, Shannon and Kanon defending against the chiesters, Krauss vs Goat-kun, meeting with Virgilia

\\We discover that he isn't actually Asumo's son but he is still Kinzo's grandson
This is very easy to solve because Battler only needs to be Rudolf’s son for it to work. Rudolf is Kinzo’s son after all. Asumu has nothing to do with being the grandson of Kinzo.

\\Battler and after this news Kyrie's mind was too wild for any logic reasons and Kyrie mother's instinct made her sacri_ce for Battler.
Sounds weak to me when we have lines like this.

This is another one of the weird usages of people/body. At least the translation isn’t consistent with it.
I don't speak japanese so I can't check but it could be something due to translation.

Rosa, Eva, Hideyoshi, Natsuhi, Rudolf, Jessica and George die before Kanon. Making him the ninth.
I don't understand what you mean here.

It was a big hole and remember that blood goes off easily from skin but does not from cloth. There is no indication that something might be odd here.

Conclusion. You again missed nearly every magic scene and the corpses in your version don’t even match how Battler found them. And the main thing regarding the well doesn’t work because of Battler’s investigation.
Your Kinzo trick looks nice at first but the characters also talk to him and all the later description of Kinzo going wild don’t work with it.

\\Have Maria force her mother to bring sleeping pills and the special tea that in the first game Rosa gave to Kumasawa.
This would imply that Maria would've had to fake tantrums long before this conference because Rosa uses them normally. Doesn’t sound like a nice connection to me.

Your roulette also doesn’t look like it could work for ep5/6.
Because none of the possibilities you show were those first twilights.
And it’s not a nice solution to have one simple system and consider 4 different cases just because we have 4 different episodes. It’s about finding patters and not just adding extra cases for every time.

Will’s solutions:
\\1 tw, ep 1: George believed that Shannon was alive
But Shannon return to earth because she has a body after all. Meaning it’s not to illusions, like Will said.

\\1 tw, ep 2: closed room created by from Rosa's false beliefs
Didn't Erikantrice said, that the door was closed? Meaning this isn’t a lock of illusions.

\\1 tw, ep 3: The ring started with Kinzo in the boiler room and ended with Nanjo put the chapel key on him
I don’t see anything overlapping in your solution.

\\7-8 tw, ep 3: their mutable killer first was an angel then revails his real demon identity
You could just use the sleeping pills here, to get a mutable blade.


\\George theory, as you have read, solves easily the first 4 games of Umineko
George doesn't work as the only killing culprit in the QA. He is with Battler too often.
But a theory where only Gohda is the killing culprit is easily possible.

\\People chose to die for a trick. . . Natsuhi's tears and despair were fake
Not really. It was all play to attack Natsuhi and all the victims thought it was just a prank.
Thus, they later hid and got later killed by Yasu.

\\Shkanontrice says that all ep5 is just an illusion saw by Battler
Battler was an accompliece in this game, meaning he was allowed to lie about the position of Kanon and Shannon. Erika on the other hand only ever saw one of them.
But I agree that this isn't done in a good way most of the time.

\\to win the detective must solve the mystery by denying the magic with Human tricks
It's very weird and I'm not absolutely what's the exact idea.
But the reader knows that both theories are wrong, which makes this not a win for the human side.

The PIN is 07151129 which has 8 digits and it’s to get the money from the bank (not Yasu). It further doesn’t have anything to do with how you solve the epitaph. For that you need the word Quadrillion. Ep 7 explains the process of solving in more detail.

Conclusion. I’m very disappointed. I hoped that the theory is at least able to be consistent with the reds from the question arc. You also claim to have use the heart really good but ignore almost all the magical scenes.
It’s also said how often you want to use details but those are just false or don’t mean anything.

It has similar problems like the og manifest and doesn’t fix any of the problems regarding reds. But it cuts out a lot of the trans and homophobic shit which was a nice thing.
I would recommend to not be like “EriKantrice solves this perfectly” because that only sets expectations which aren’t met in any way. Mainly because nearly all the time I could mention a detail you didn’t use but claim you have used all.
