  1. Katzan stares towards Eloxochitl, a poor man probably forced into a destiny way direr than he could ever think of. Perhaps he had seen it coming the moment he saw the wondrous, yet fearsome figure of Katzan Xizoh, the son of Ezton Xizoh.
  2.
  3. He rested in front of the throne, and as soon as Teuicui and the newcomer were there, he looked towards the Nagual, leaning his head slightly leftwards. "I thought your boyfriend would come with."
  4.
  5. He let out a sigh, and finally, hopped onto the throne. He gestured for the non-magi of the temple to come closer, and finally, he whispered on the ears of the one that catered to his wish.
  6.
  7. Then, clearing his throat, he began. His voice was a bit different, certainly more potent and in some manner... Intimidating, almost as if forcing Eloxochitl to just agree with whatever he was saying. "I hope you understand what we do here in Atl. I hope you understandhow the Way of Blood works. We believe in might, and that those strong enough should guide the weaker ones. And however, we always keep our enemies."
  8.
  9. And like that, the non-magi came back, along with another non-magi, bearing a woman of jianghese descent, shackled and bound to the point where she couldn't move.
  10.
  11. "Not only that. Blood will cleanse through the lands, and it is through it that we empower ourselves. For we aim to become stronger, so we could protect our weaker. There will always be weaker and stronger, and we merely aim to make sure that our weak survive." And like that, the jianghese slave was finally put close enough to Katzan.
  12.
  13. Not a single muscle moved, besides his arm. A quick movement grasped the slave by the neck, strong as always. And like that, he looked around himself, to all the non-magi who passed by eventually.
  14.
  15. "And you see this one? This is one of our enemies. One of those who refused to bow, and they were forced." And like that, he looked towards Eloxochitl. This was where he would test some things, to see if the man was fit for Atl or not. "She refused to accept that walking so far into our land made her owe us. She refused to bow to us."
  16.
  17. And like that, he moved in closer to the white-haired man, dragging the non-magi with him. "What do you think should be done with one such as her?"
  18.
  19. She tried to scream, to squirm, but the bondage was just too strong.
  20. (Katzan Xizoh)
  21.
  22. Eloxochitl kept his expression as stoic and detached as he could, and it was visible all throughout. Stoicism overcame fear, and the feeling of the occult overpowered his own boisterous attitude. Some people of Ezmara were executed before a live audience in the temple but there was always that feeling that they in some way deserved it...
  23.
  24. "Enemies should be kept alive but disabled for exchange..."
  25.
  26. The light-heartedness within his voice diminished, replaced with a venomous tone devoid of hatred. His flaming shroud slowly emerged from his stocky frame, lighting the area with the orange light of his flames — The orange light that was eaten away by the absence of Katzon's nullification.
  27.
  28. "But that is for slavery. If she will not submit, she should be put to a sacrifice to provide true purpose. She refused guidance despite her inferiority and she refused to submit. Her continued existence is but a drain on time and it is a drain on resources."
  29.
  30. Eloxochitl's eyes glared down at the woman condescendingly.
  31. (Eloxochitl)
  32.
  33. Her hand moved the few strands of hair from her face, the chieftain inquired of Zabo.
  34.
  35. 'Man has gone to sleep'
  36.
  37. After her answer was given on that matter her arms moved to going behind her back, stretching her arms allowing her eyes the luxury to move freely between both Katzan and Elo. The man made it known, the strength required to fall in line with the ways of the Atl. Her eyes drifted towards the non-magi of the village as they brought back a woman shackled, placing her before Katzan, the man speaking in a strict tone and if his actions had any influence on his words, anyone would likely think themselves next to bare the same pain as the Jianghese woman.
  38.
  39. Another question is asked by Katzan towards Elo, this time dragging a reaction from him, his flames swallowing around him, eyes taken towards the screaming woman though there isn't much done in her direction it is merely a passing glance before she returns her focus to the two.
  40. (Teuicui)
  41.
  42. "Correct. But you're missing one thing." And with that, Katzan's hand moved from the neck of the Jianghese woman to her head, grasping the top of her head before she could even react. And all of a sudden, a swarm of grey came towards her, quickly washing over her head.
  43.
  44. The color of her hair was quickly drained, as if a floating aura surrounded her very head, and now, Katzan released her. A faint glow of gold came to him, and like that, he just said one simple word, looking down to the Jianghese. "Kneel."
  45.
  46. Of course, it was nothing but practice. Katzan was a being that grew more and more familiar with the arts of Chaos, and by now, he was growing more and more possessed by his very sin. But in the end, she did it. The non-magi kneeled, all the screaming, squirming, and all that, stopped.
  47.
  48. And just like that, Katzan quickly moved closer to her, removing her blindfold, her gag, and all the constriction that bound her to there. Now, if she wanted to try to make a run, if she wanted to complain, scream, yearn for help like she was doing a few moments ago, she could.
  49.
  50. But she didn't. It was almost magical that Katzan was an intimidating being by itself, but what he did to her? That was beyond what most people managed to enact by themselves, his corruption put too deep inside her own mind. Another words more followed, fingers holding under the woman's chin as to force her to look up.
  51.
  52. "You're one of?" And as soon as he released her, she lowered her head again. He let out a hum, perhaps of satisfaction, perhaps of disappointment. It was clear, however, that he wasn't satisfied by what he said next. "Still unable to look me in the face."
  53.
  54. And yet, he yearnedher answer. She merely said "She was one of Atl". Now, there were no constraints, and there was one order emitted to all the non-magi. "If anyone stops this woman from going wherever she wants, I'm killing you myself."
  55.
  56. And just like that, he retreated towards the throne, before passing his fingers on it, collecting the dust at the seat. "Do you understand?" He looks back towards Eloxochitl. "We have no need to sacrifice the non-magi. They are as worthy as sacrificing wood. Perhaps a bit more, a bit less? But in the end, they do not sacrifice. However."
  57.
  58. He gestured for the slave to come closer, and so she obeyed. He got a single knife from under his coat, and exposed it to her. One single order was given. "You're sacrifice now. Offer yourself." And like that, he ran a single finger across her right arm.
  59.
  60. And like that, the woman cut off her own right arm, letting it drop down to the ground. Katzan's fire quickly concealed the bleeding, and he pushed the woman slightly away, and a mumble was spoken. "Someone take her back to the quarters."
  61.
  62. And then, he looked down to the bleeding arm on the floor. A glance was directed towards Eloxochitl. "Eat it, and you belong here."
  63.
  64. And just like that, without even caring to check if the man would eat it... Katzan just walked away, one single statement being left behind. "If you don't, I'll know it. I'll see you tomorrow, Occuali."
  65. (Katzan Xizoh)
