- ### Volthorus
- With ice-blue bodies covered in shaggy black fur, and branch-like onyx crystals piercing out of their backs, bolts of lightning crackling between each gemstone, a volthorus is a demon that is a symbol of the temptation brought by starvation and gluttony. Their heads appear like the skull of a human, but with the jaws stretched forwards, their teeth as sharp as knives, and their claws are similar to humanoid hands, but with their fingers twice as long as they should be, and ending in sharp blood-red points.
- ***Cannibalistic Giants.*** In times of low food, starvation can be a horrifying problem for beings as large as the giants; with bodies as large as a fully grown tree, excessive amounts of food are required at all times. Some giants in these times of crisis will fall prey to the most basic of predatory animal instincts, being that everything that moves is food, and will kill another giant, consuming their body. The taste of giant's flesh, however, once sampled, is practically irresistible, and so the giant shall continue to butcher and devour its fellow kin, as its body begins the transformation into a volthorus.
- ***Hidden by Storms.*** A volthorus is an enemy to all giants, and as such, they hide out on top of the tallest mountains, where their foes are unable to reach them. Few bits of meat come to the summits of their homes, so instead, the demon is forced to starve itself for many days, until the night when a loud enough blizzard or thunderstorm shows itself, masking the presence of the volthorus. The demon then hunts everything it can find, ripping all meat to pieces and devouring it, sating its eternal hunger.
- ***Tempest-Touched.*** Each volthorus has minor control over storms, derived from their nature of once being mighty giants. This can be seen from how lightning dances between the branch-like spines in their backs, or how their howling laughter is carried by blizzards, with their breath as cold as ice. When in a particularly fierce storm, the powers of a volthorus increase, turning it far deadlier than it normally is.

- > ##### Variant: Volthorus in a Storm
- > When a volthorus is in an intense storm, it is far deadlier. For such a volthorus, its CR is 13 (10000 XP), its claws deal 14 (4d6) lightning damage instead of only 7 (2d6), and as a reaction to being hit with a melee attack, it can make one claw attack on the attacker.

- ## Devils
- Devils scheme and fight to reach the top of the infernal hierarchy of the Underworld. Several devils are introduced here, some that have a place in the social order and others that stand apart from it.
- \pagebreakNum
- ### Card Devil (Luveliz)
- summons 4 death jokers, have a design like a sort of cloaked boy with a clown mask. synergize in combat by fighting with their jokers, and have a 30-foot aura that buffs the jokers, giving them evasion, resistance to all damage, and +1d8 psychic damage on all hits.

- faustian college bard. these boys have three arms, one to hold their fiddle which is in the center of their chest, and two hands that each have very long pointer claws, which they use to play on the fiddle. maybe give a variant for one with a golden fiddle, which has some kind of better shit, but drops the fiddle upon death, which is a bardic magic item

- ## Flockwander
- http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RAiEdJ_3qno/UAgzJPlvl5I/AAAAAAAABE0/Uv4Lt22s3yA/s640/ravenqueen.png
- they're made of birds (usually crows or doves) with a hivemind
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Fleshvarra
- monstrosities that were once people, but have shifted themselves into mutated beasts to try and escape a disease from the Pestilants, and it kinda fucked their mind.
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Forgotten Lords
- use "Tomb Kings" in fantasy pics - generic. they're servants that one of the ancients brought with them--probably Cross--which symbolize dead leaders of dead worlds, with dead soldiers.
- specifically, these guys are a relic of Al'Naar that have come back for vengeance due to being abandoned
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Grave Sovereign
- for pic, use "bulaire" from the Game Stuff art, void champ. anyways, they're fucks that only manifest inside of graves filled with those that died violent deaths, and are basically a hivemind of specters. their bodies are just COVERED in screaming faces, except for on its head, which just has 2 blue eyes, and no face.
- despite being pretty powerful and undead, they can actually be pacified through doing proper funerals for the fuckboys making it up.
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Grootslang
- a besswob non-true dragon, is like a fuckin' elephant basilisk wyrm thing. focused on collecting gemstones and hiding in caves - is the mortal enemy of spirit dragons.
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Kasabuto-o
- sort of like Giant Fire Beetle: 2. they eat steel dragon eggs
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Leaping Whale
- based on the "killer whale" pic i've got
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Manakin
- these boys are based on the grimmkin, come from space out of meteors n stuff. they're neutral or evil aligned celestials. nine kinds; one for each color, and then a lord of them all
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Mirrorworlders
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Mngwa
- a cat of sorts. their true form is a Huge sized cat (like an actual housecat) with a stretchy neck. they can shapeshift into a normal cat though.
- also, they're immune to all restraints - they literally just phase through them, rather than rip through them. automatically succeed on all saves against being restrained, all checks against being grappled, can't be net'd, etc
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Necronaut
- http://www.dungeonsanddrawings.com/2010/09/necronaut.html
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Olitiau
- giant besswob bats that wear ritual masks and are very intelligent. despite not being humanoids, they are demon summoners, and are just kind of evil bastards.
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Oni
- category of fiends like demons and devils, have like 10-ish things
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Pestilants
- also known as the "illcallers", they're the boyos that spread disease. fiends, and they have mechanics that are like "deal worse conditions and damage to diseased and poisoned fucks"
- also they diseased the fleshvarra lol
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Rune Bramble
- based on the Bramble pic found in the google drive. they're like balefornian trees and stuff that get latent magical energy from the runesteins, and contain the souls of extremely old baleforns
- tbh they'd probably make a great new race for the first season pass
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Scarabs
- gem scarab's a kind, based on the maquech beetle. generally, scarabs will probably be pack animals that have one leader and then the rest flee, but if the leader is killed, the others will rush

- ## Season Sprites
- based on them from Konosuba
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Season Warlords
- based on the winter samurai from Konosuba
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Sinner
- effectively, they're like demons of sorts, except not really. they like sin, but in the sense of "it brings mortal beings pleasure". they offer pacts, much like a devil, but the terms of the pact are always the same: they possess the body of the mortal that the contract was made with, taking it over permanently, while the mortal's mind and soul is still kept inside - that mortal then experiences all that they've ever wanted in a sort of dreamscape-y world.
- make it sort of ambigious if you can *really* call these guys evil: they do take over someone's life, but it's almost always going to be a sad life full of pain, and the one that they take it away from is still going to experience idealized versions of those that they knew, as well as impossible experiences they never could've experienced.
- stat-wise, the sinner is pretty weak on its own, not really being one for combat, but they can be used as a template on any humanoid. the humanoid then gets advantage on all mental saves, can't be charmed or frightened, becomes the sinner's alignment, and a thing about how if the possession is removed, then their mind is just fucked and they become a vegetable.
- \pagebreakNum
- ## Slimes
- void slime, elemental slimes, royal slime
