i'll give u the whole set of stories chrononologically tbh
first thing is on the train in random act of kindness a woman only had very little change on her and needed to buy a ticket, i gave her the 80p she needed
alright so then im there get in, tbh it is pretty dead to start with BUT one of the djs actually put on the fucking ghostbusters theme as a beat it was actual fire
fast forward to about 12:30, feeling a bit anxious suppin' on a lemonade, then I get up and dance and instantly make friends with this pretty fun couple, Jamie and Rhiannon
both can fuckin' dance and jamie in particular is like a beacon of positivity. also both local yokels live 10 mins away from the club
jamie studies politics rhiannon studies chemistry (at warwick which is near to where i'm from and i've got a couple friends who study there)
so thats cool
ok lets see did make 2 other friends who could also fuckin dance gottem on faceboobs
tbh it was annoying that dom dolla wasnt on til 2 and then aston shuffle at 4, ended upleaving at 4 bc i was fucking dead lmao my feet omg
but it was so fun dancing. tbh dom was mostly pretty generic but he dropped more of his good stuff in like the last half hour so it was pretty beastly
in terms of the club, upsides include nice size and free water, altho downside is mostly doesnt have artists i know and the layout is a bit meh
anyway goin home, ended up transferring on the tube from st pancras (where i came in on) to victoria
oh but first before that actually, in the walk to st pancras
i had to go through this grassy bit and they had the sprinklers on
it was fucking up the path too w water ya feel so its like what do but then i go thru the first 1 its fuckin refreshin
ohhh one other thing about being in the club i was so sweaty my sweat dripped into my eyes a couple times, shit fuckin stung xD
but ye anyway in goin down to the tube at the gates there's some tall ginger lad and hes surrounded by a bunch of POCs, and i dont know what happens exactly but both the ginger lad and one of the POCs get punched in the nose
and this girl with the ginger lad was fucking distraught
she was covered in blood from the bloody noses they both got it was mental actually
me and this other guy try to help not much we can do and hey thank god its just bloody noses, no knifes involved (or guns ig but that shit doesnt happen in the UK rly)
fun chattin w that lad, anyways
it was also lke wtf was the ginger lass wearing tho
it was like latex everything with jackboots and red tassles
but it was fucking jarring with ginger hair glasses and a posh london accent
oh and one other thing, learned a bit of birmingham-specific slang from the brummie i became friends with
to be "in the pool" means you are someone who is single and looking
