The lad forced his creaking body onward, heading to the Keep in the hopes of catching Adriane, as she'd been spending time there often what with the future war planning. His greatsword was being used in lieu of a walking stick, still having just enough strength to lift the blade and move it forward in increments, leaning on it heavily.

"H-High.. Prophet.." The young man eeked out in a raspy voice, forcing himself to remain steady on shaky feet. "I.. Failed.. J-Jeanne.. Taken.. By.. Spiders.. Masked.. Ookami.. Caverns.." He hacked painful coughs, hucking blood out onto Nostvale's paved grounds in globs. Shaking his head, Tristan forced himself to keep standing, to finish his report as best he could. "Tr-training.. Brought her there.. Mistake.. Di.. Didn't think.. Any.. Would come.." It had been ages since anyone had heard of anything of the Arachne people, much less of troubles in the caverns.

"Spoke.. Dravus.. Territory.. Wanted.. Jeanne.. Dan.. Danarium.. Must have.. Allied.." It was the only reason he could possibly think of why those creatures would suddenly want to retrieve Jeanne, much less be on the lookout within the Caverns for her. He had been careless, utterly careless, and would pay the price for it alongside Jeanne. "I... Apologize.. I will.. Accept.. Belial's embrace.." Lowering his head, Tristan awaited Adriane's judgment upon him, as he so deserved for such a grave failing.

I think I more or less want to know if it's all fine on an IC/OOC level, because it doesn't seem right to me that he'd be able to do that.
