 "Well that's what a first date is. It's essentially an interview for you to get to know each other and see if your attraction is more than just aesthetic. Or so I re- heard."  she nods a time. She had studied a bit before coming here.

A dismissive wave is given towards Yotanwa as Terra didn't mind her all that much once the ball was rolling. Though as she was finally getting into the groove of the event Meiyo arrived.

A faint smile draws upon Yotanwa's features, the Dryad delicately pushes herself from her cusion.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't want to interrupt." she offers them a bow of her head before turning her back. The Dryad was so lost lately, that she didn't even understand what was going on here. Truly lost since the execution of her wife..

The magi's eyes was drawn towards the dryad, nodding his head.

"My condolences," escaped the words under his breath before pursing his lips. It shattered his heart when he saw her helpless as she watched the execution of the Mariposas. It was a moment he'll never forget, because it was a moment akin to Eming's death, with Salvas' grieving to hours end.

There was nothing he could do, but only to watch her walk away.

His eyes then darted for Terra.

"Tell me, is it more than aesthetic?"

Terra could almost understand what the woman felt. After all, the two were Terra's masters not only in how to fight but just life in general. She learned so much from the two and it broke their heart when she saw their execution. Helpless as she was, she couldn't frown or cry.

She promised the two there'd be no more of that.
She nods to the exiting woman, deciding it'd be better to speak to her at a later date rather than bring up such things at such a time.

 "We'll talk later."  she quickly addresses the dryaid.

 "No. I found you much more than aesthetic when I saw your reaction the other day, fought you, and heard about your heroic... Uhm… Adventures."

I believe that anything is possible, so with this mindset I know I'll save the world and spread peace. I'll keep a smile so that all know that I am here to help and here to make things better. If I break or fall, so long as I have breath in me, I'll never give up. So be as arrogant as you want. I find such an arrogance in wanting a better place and wanting to erase a threat from the world, to be the most beautiful thing."

"The Neries, for Dawn, are of noble birth. A respected race of the Dreamer's abode," said the magi, looking at her direction.

"Do not demean or lower yourself, Terra. You are not disgusting or untrustworthy. I was drawn to you because, despite shunned in Huangzhou, due to the origins of your kind to Valmasia and the Azraelites, you are here.

Here to fight for what you believe what is right, unshackled by the Neries' destiny to only remain as the Dreamer and Azrael's servant.

And that resolve, that confidence and hope, shows the beauty within you."

Terra's cheeks flush a light tint of grey as she heard him speak. She didn't know how to respond to such things; her hands were a bit tight and rough. She worked her physique and nothing but her physique.

 "Well thank you very much."  she gave Salthiel's hand a light squeeze before removing it and resting the hand under her cloak.

 "Well at least I know now that, you're quite the match for me. Even though not as animate... Maaaaaaybe a little dense. Which adds onto your charm, you're a beautiful person... That carries the same wants and goals as me."  She pauses a moment.

 "Have you... ever had a girlfriend before...?"  she questions sheepishly.

"A match for you," repeated the magi, lowering his voice, though his features appeared to be saddened by such words as he averted his gaze.

However, to the inquiry, he looked back to her as if woken up from a dream.

"And- no. But, I would be lying if I say that I did not have a romantic relationship with someone before. To deny my own feelings and her love, in exchange of my pursuit to battle the corrupt.

I told her that it would be unfair for her to fall to pain and despair as a result of my dying.

Because I do not know when I'd have my final breath.

For only death awaits those like me," added the man.

"And I am afraid of committing the same mistake again," said Salthiel to Terra, eyes only upon hers.

Terra listens in closely to the male's words. She could definitely understand his reasoning as such a subject was typically quite sensitive and painful to either partner and child if they ever had any.

Though? Terra had experienced enough death and learned to simply cherish each moment she has with someone dear to her.

 "It's a shame she accepted that. Missing out on such an amazing person because of fear of pain. I train with the purpose of causing pain so that I can get used to it. Emotional or physical.

So I won't be accepting that as a reason you can't be with me. Since I'm proned to danger and you're proned to danger, might as well enjoy each other's company for as long as we can until the timer is out. Don't you think?~"

There was only silence after she spoke; though, a light smile crossed his features in response.

After it seemed as if he was not going to say anything; words escaped his lips.

"No, she did not accept it. She said the same thing along the lines of what you've said.

But- I had to push her away. To end it, before she gets even further," said the Anauel. And, it was a women not unknown to the Neries. However, her name he'd never intend to admit. They have both moved on.

"If I were to tell you, that despite my love for you, I cannot be with you; if I were to push you away.

Won't you simply just accept it?"

Terra shook her head. She wouldn't accept it, after all why would she? It was essentially giving up out of fear and the young Yinping didn't do fear.

 "No. I wouldn't. If that was your only reasoning, then no. I wouldn't accept it. I'd stare at you, grab your hand and tell you I wasn't leaving. As such a separation for such reasons not only hurt me, but hurts you."  she explained.

"I invited you over because I was overcame with not only curiosity, but to get to know you better. It was to satiate my question to myself, of, 'Who is this woman, capable of causing my heart shake?'

'Who is this woman, despite the odds, and despite having been a victim of a ritual gone wrong, still fought for the Mariposa?'

And thus, my question was answered. A budding, raw emotion in the form of love," said Salthiel.

"It was also selfish of me to do so, only to realize that I may deny this love once more, and perhaps suffer pain even greater than before. Because I know I will have to commit a mistake.

A mistake that I will forget.

However, a mistake that I know I must commit.

Because soon, I and my brothers will embark on a journey we'll never return to alive. For future and peace, we will die. For others' right to live, to cleanse the corrupt wemust sacrifice ourselves. Our lives," he added, furrowing his eyebrows with a frown.
