— PERSONALITY :
	She's very naive, or she was. Before she was an adult she always gave people the benefit of the doubt, she constantly made excuses for people and defended them when it was obvious that said person was guilty. And even when Meilin was proven wrong she still gave them chances and blamed herself for a lot of the bad things that happens to her. But after going through a rough relationship she hasn't changed much, but she definitely hates liars, like she cannot forgive people if they lie to her, even if it's a small one. And that ruins the person she was before because she finds it hard to trust someone once they lie to her and it doesn't matter how small it is or if the truth hurts her, she cannot accept lies. Like if someone tries to get close to her again after lying to her she is flat old cold, she refuses to speak to them in a familiar tone and is rather formal and serious. It's like an off switch and it's scary how fast she can turn. Meilin has always been the type of person to never express how she feels (other than when she likes someone), but if she's going through a hardship she finds it difficult to tell people and often pours what she feels through her characters and makes it as if they're feeling it, not her. She's kind of foul mouthed and curses a lot which makes her kind of a soccer mom because she defends her friends more than she defends herself. Meilin is very quirky? I don't know I feel like she's this weird old soul like sometimes she over exaggerates a lot in everyday activities like singing along to the car radio or cooking or even tying her shoes. She just likes being a bit extra and making the mood more happier and she's a bit eccentric.

— BACKGROUND :
	Meilin Ahn is born to a Korean-American father and a Chinese-American mother who both met in San Francisco where they both grew up, but when she and her sister were close to being born her grandmother from her mother's side was insistent that they were to be born in China. They lived there for a few years with her father's job being in the U.S. Army's special forces and her mother being a graphic novelist, so they were able to travel a lot. She spent her high school years in South Korea at BigHit High School since her father was gone a lot and her mother needed help raising them so they were able to move in with her father's parents, her grandparents. Meilin has always been a very social person, she's able to make friends easily which differentiated her with her sister a lot. She did have other friends besides the 13, but she was always close with them. Her and her sister are complete opposites which makes JinJing very reserved. She has always been a hopeless romantic and she blames it on her parents with their love story and because her parents are still loving towards one another she made up this idea that every love should be like that and that's what she wanted in all honesty. And she always preferred love stories in books, movies, and graphic novels. Meilin isn't the best student out there, her grades were pretty good. Mainly A's and B's, but always got C's or lower in Science and Math related subjects. And she's awful at studying, it's difficult if she's not interested in the subjects at all. She spent most of her time after school with the girls at cafes, movie theaters, or anywhere that has cute guys. She has always been known to look eccentric or more standout ish than the other girls and it's because she really wants to impress guys because she desperately yearns to have a boyfriend or be in a relationship. She has always had a crush on the love interest, or a slight interest, but because she doesn't want to ruin the friendship and the dynamic of the group she refuses to do anything about it. Hell, even the other girls don't know until the wedding where she reveals her crush. And she thinks she doesn't like him anymore which is why she tells them, but the minute she sees him and they hang out again it's like a tsunami hitting her. Her reasoning for why she cannot stand lies is because when she was 20 as a sophomore in college she had her first ever real relationship. The boyfriend ended up cheating on her and didn't even seem the least bit sorry.

	-if she watches a horror film she cannot sleep for about three days until she knocks out completely
	-has a great / weird relationship with her parents like sometimes she even just calls her by their first name and ngl her dad probably carries a book she published in public, but doesn't show the cover only the gigantic picture of her face on the back like he'll probably go to the grocery store and be like "hey carOL GUESS WHAT MY DAUGHTER PUBLISHED A BOOK, HOW ABOUT YOU?"
	-still believes hogwarts is real and thinks she only wasn't invited to go was because of her sister

— PERSONALITY :
	It's somewhat like the Park Jimin we know now? He's sweet and charming. In high school he's the social butterfly, he's friends with all types of guys. He hates bullying and tries to please everyone the best he can, and that causes him to get hurt the most. I feel like around Meilin he'd give people the benefit of the doubt, he tries to be as understanding as he can and he seems to make up excuses for other people as well. He's the type of guy to be nice to everyone, but if he no longer wants to acknowledge that person or be associated with them he just wouldn't talk to him or he'd ignore them or speak to them coldly or politely. No matter what he wouldn't be impolite. I can't think of much, but it reminds me of present day Jimin?

— LOVE STORY (2007) :
	They first met when they both were freshmen in high school. she had just moved to korea after living in hong kong for a few years. They are both in the same homeroom and he has always been very social with everyone and a few of the students in his homeroom went to his middle school or elementary school, etc. She sat in the first row and he sat behind her and what not. She didn't have any friends for the first few weeks? And because you can eat lunch in your classroom everyone can kinda tell she was lonely, and it wasn't like she was bullied, it's just that no one was willing to talk to her or befriend her? They all just thought she liked being alone because she'd eat a little bit of her homebrought lunch and would write in her notebook in English. Jimin would feel bad because he feels like he should talk to her, but he couldn't bring himself too? Like she never talks in class so he kinda assumes that he prefers being alone or she doesn't speak Korean well (lowkey true). I feel like they befriended one another when she became friends with one of the other girls and then said girl brought her to the friendship group, and it blossoms from there. In the beginning he's more of like an Oppa figure for her, like he's kind of on the reserved shy and treats her normally like asking her if she ate, if she slept well, if she studied, if she finished homework, etc. But eventually they begin to become more playful and he becomes like a protective oppa figure because he finds out how easily she falls in love with guys and stuff and he always like badmouths the guys he likes and points out their flaws as if to make her disinterested or somehow diverts her attention to something else. Somewhere in junior year she began to like him when he's starting to reach the final stages of puberty? Like it's where his love for dancing is showing and they hang out sometimes alone and it's a friendly hangout but she overthinks it a lot. Like sometimes after school when everyone else has plans they'd go out to get a late night snack, go study together since they're in the same homeroom, or idk even go to each other's house. It's to the point where their parents are used to each other and stuff. Like Meilin's twin sister isn't even surprised to see Jimin and Meilin on her bed each on their laptops or something. She realizes that he's like the ideal guy because of his warm personality and his loving nature. They broke contact when she moved out of Korea and she tried to keep in touch with all of them, especially Jimin because out of all the guys she was the closest with him. However it grew difficult with phone bills, time zones, college, and eventually their jobs. It's to the point where their relationship is like following each other on social media accounts and liking each other's posts or something. She's kind of heartbroken because she really liked him and for awhile she tried comparing all the guys she likes in the future to him, but eventually she had to move on, especially when she got into said relationship.

— LOVE STORY (2017) :
	You can tell it's awkward right off the bat for awhile. Like when they see each other it's like awkward hugs and greeting, they're asking each other like 'Oh how are you?' 'I heard you're writing a new book, how is it going?' 'Oh so where did you find inspiration for that choreography?' and stuff like that. When the group gathers they're like sitting far away from each other and they're awkward and everyone can tell, like one of the other guys or girls points it out by asking them why they're like that and then they'd remind them of a memory to show how close they are. They'd be like 'Remember that time you both slept over at each other's house and Jimin's girlfriend thought he was cheating on her with Mei?' and then they'd argue on whose fault it was and it just fell back into place. Their friendship fell back into place and eventually her crush for him returned, but this time he likes her too? Her first impression of him is that he suddenly got hotter? Like back in high school he was mainly cute and shit, but now he's like hot and mature with a sexy body and a respectable mind. And for him his first impression was how mature and outgoing she is with new people. She isn't as shy with new people and obviously she grew into her looks. Like her clothing and hair style is different and more elegant. It kinda of feels like high school again, but with sexual tension? They both eventually can tell that they like each other, but they don't know what to do and they're kind of scared. But I feel like they'll get together, but then they'd get together, but it clashes. I feel like because they expect them to be like the person they were in high school they think they know how the relationship will go. But obviously it's more difficult with her trust issues and her hatred towards lying and what not and his inability to realize how much it hurts and bothers her. But they'll probably work it out and end up happy.

	-they both sleep late so they nag each other which makes them hypocritical?
	-if he's at the dance studio tryna perfect a choreography he was trying to make she'd probably be in their bed on her laptop trying to finish her manuscript for another book or something, but they always call each other every hour or two just to make sure the other was okay or something
	-he mainly cooks for them and it's because she's not that good?? or like when it comes to korean food she's terrible at cooking them so he does it, but she bakes and makes cute desserts and drinks and stuff and she's good at making foreign food?

	(2017) — Her being stressed because of her manager criticizing her on not finishing her manuscript or not looking over the pre-published copy of the graphic novel for her and her mom and stuff and Jimin noticing how stressed she is and they'd like hangout at night at like a night street market type of thing or eating snacks and stuff like they used to (but this time with alcohol since they're legal)
