The world hangs in the balance, though this one has since history was first recorded upon it, for the great tethers leading up towards heaven bore a continent weight, and each snap sent a fearful tremor in all those who happened to be close enough to hear it. This day, however, a group of strange fellows have found themselves in one of the less disturbed regions, sailing on a ship which carefully navigated both the waters of a great lake and the countless cords which bore its weight. It was a moment of respite after recent events had put them on the run, and the necessary gold had changed hands to prevent the asking of questions from the crew for the journey.

And passengers themselves, well, some had known each other a week, some a few days, and some were still strangers. But just as the strings bore the world, so did the strings of fate bind these creatures together. All felt the connection, and the threat of conversation was growing as the figures stood on the deck of the wormwood, the sailors themselves having locked themselves in the hold until the wind deigned to blow again.

Quinala is making themselves not at all useful. They paid for the voyage, so they planned to enjoy it. As such, they were sitting against the foremast, strumming idly on their lute, not even bothered enough to play a song. It was, if nothing else, a nice break from the hectic mess their life had been since they nearly lost it on a falling platform.

Abernath is a little over seven feet tall, brawny Leonin with a wild brown hair. His clothing is mostly rags and a few bands of scavenged metal, with an enormous ice trap skull built into the front. Ever the outsider, he wipes slobber from his maw and stays a step or two away from the others, deep set golden eyes shooting from person to person.

"Grab doll. Help up." he shouted down in a raspy voice.

(Move action to get 35 feet across, then bending over the rail and throwing  down a puppet 5ft for him to use as a rope... which can also grip him back.)

Abernath bled heavily from sword strike, and the hammer had probably broken something. He let out a bloodcurdling roar roar, then swiped first at the hammer wielder, then at the sword wielding goblin- unfortunately the sudden shift that had hardened his flesh against the first strike left him off balance.

[Bonus action for Daunting Roar, DC13 wisdom save vs frightened until the end of my next turn. Then claw attack x2 once against hammer, once against sword. Advantage vs hammer from flank countered by disadvantage from Negating Flesh, but still have DA on sword goblin.]
