Dream scene 1

[On the same day you get the goo, after you go to sleep]

Your dreams are perturbed that night.

You find yourself floating in a completely dark void. No matter where you look, darkness is the only thing you see. Except your body, however, which emits a faint glow, letting you see yourself if you look down.

You try to move, to sort of swim through the void. When you begin to, however, you hear an extremely faint whisper. You can’t make out the words, so you stop to concentrate on what it's being said. They stop as soon as you do, though.

You try moving again. A few seconds after, you once again hear the whisper. This time, you do not stop moving. As you keep going, the voice gets higher in volume.

"Don't go," you hear, "don't leave me."

Such an ominous request only makes you move faster, but as you do, the voice increases in volume, too.

"Please, stop moving. Don't leave me."

The voice now rises further in volume. You keep going.

"Stop. Please. Stop."

And going.

"We are one. Don't leave me."

And going.

"Stop."

And going.

"STOP."

And going.

"DON'T LEAVE ME."

And-

"YOU. ARE. MINE."

You wake up, sweating. What was that? Back in your world, you had nightmares, like everyone. But this... This was something else.

Although, dreams being dreams, you don't remember much about what that nightmare was about. Some sort of voice...?

You decide that it's just a dumb dream your brain made up to scare you. You freshen up and get ready for the day ahead.
